I downloaded the file : LabVIEW Express AI Using External Sample Clock (Scan Clock) from an NI 6602 from this website. but I get the message error :Error -200220 occurred at DAQmx when I run it.

Check to make sure your device is present in the Measurement and Automation Explorer under DAQmx devices. You may have configured the device/chassis in Traditional NI-DAQ and not NI-DAQmx. Also check your device ID or string identifier to make sure that it matches with the ID in MAX.

I evidently need to install Flash, but having done so, it behaves still as if I didn't. I have the new i7 iMac (and I see from some other forums that Flash installation has been a problem for some time.

I evidently need to install Flash, according to everything animated I've tried to view, but efforts to do so have been unsuccessful (or it's installed but not in the right place? ) I see from forums I've visited that this is an ongoing issue with iMacs--I'm surprised since it's a download on Apple that it just doesn't come with the setup...and why is it so troublesome to do? (Weird for something so basic these days not to come with the newest, fastest, etc. iMac i7...)

If you are hang issues you can try calling AppleCare, you have 90 days of free telephone support. If they can't figure out the solution you need to contact Adobe, it's their product. Apple has announced they are moving towards HTML5 and away from Flash because it's so antiquated. It is also no-longer pre-installed on OS X so you need to download as you have found out.
You can try some basic resets to see if you can get it to work. I'd first recommend restarting in Safe Mode to clear some caches. If that doesn't work reset both the SMC and PRAM to see if that helps.
SMC RESET
Shut down the computer.
Unplug the computer's power cord and all peripherals.
Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.
Release the power button.
Attach the computers power cable.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.
PRAM RESET
Shut down the computer.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.

Yes, sounds right.
You may find that only Disc 1 is the application disk (to install the actual software) and the rest are extra content/templates/goodies.

The new AirPort Extreme needs the 6.x version of AirPort Utility, which comes packed in with Lion 10.7.5 or Mountain Lion 10.8.x......or......you can also configure the device using an iPhone or iPad running a recent iOS.

iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 5 or later and AirPort Utility 1.3
Mac with OS X Lion v10.7.5 or later and AirPort Utility 6.3
A few options.....
Borrow another Mac running Lion or Mountain Lion for 10-15 minutes and set it up. The Mac running 10.5.8 will be able to connect to the wireless....but it will not be able to make any changes to the configuration of the Extreme.
Update to Lion or Mountain Lion.....but check first to make sure that your Mac will support the operating system first.
Use....or borrow an iPhone or iPad to set up the Extreme

How do iPhoto and iTunes work with each other

I am very confused about how iPhoto (which is located in the file structure on my Macair under pictures) interacts with iTunes and Photos on my iPad. The management (including synching and moving photos) is not very intuitive. Anyone care to shoot me a link on where to find a good explanation or try their hand at explain this? Thanks.

Can I switch my Apple ID on the same device and purchase software with my other ID that has a different credit card (or iTunes redeemed points) and then switch back to another user ID?

The TWAIN driver is the scanner driver. Combined with Apple's Ricoh download, it should work. Otherwise you need to contact Ricoh and ask why it isn't.

You have to add another email address on one of the two devices that you can use as the "You can be reached for FaceTime at" contact address and then remove/uncheck the Apple ID email address as the contact address on that device. The way you are currently setup is like to trying to call yourself on your on phone - from your own phone.
Using the iPad as the example go to Settings>FaceTime>You can be reached for FaceTime at>Add another email address. Then add a working email address in the next window. Apple will verify the email. Go to the inbox of that email account, read and respond to Apple's email in order to complete the verification process.
Go back to Settings>FaceTime>Uncheck the Apple ID email address and make sure that the new email address is checked/selected (you will see it being verified again) and that new email address will be your contact address for the iPad.

On each device go to Settings> iTunes and App store> Turn off automatic downloads of Music, Apps and Books. Now a purchase will only go to the device from which it was ordered.

If you're running OS X 10.8.4 or later, run Wireless Diagnostics and take the remedial steps suggested in the summary that appears, if any. The program also generates a large file of information about your system, which would be used by Apple Engineering in case of a support incident. Don't post the contents here.

If you're not using a wireless keyboard or trackpad, disable Bluetooth by selecting Turn Bluetooth Off from the menu with the Bluetooth icon. If you don't have that menu, open the Bluetooth preference pane in System Preferences and check the box marked Show Bluetooth in menu bar. Test. Continue if you find that Wi-Fi is faster with Bluetooth disabled.
From that same menu, select Open Bluetooth Preferences. If the box labeled Discoverable is checked, uncheck it. Click the Advanced button, and in the sheet that opens, uncheck the top three boxes, if any are checked. Click OK. Enable Bluetooth and test again.
If the application called "Bluetooth Setup Assistant" is running, quit it.
