The only content that you can download for apps, games, music etc on the iPad is from the App Store or from iTunes. No that game will not work on the iPad.

My network is fine, iPad can't connect to internet via any router, even when other computers work fine.

About a week ago, my daughter's iPad2 stopped connecting to the internet. It will connect to some of the routers in the house, but not all, but then just hangs in Safari, netflix, app store...basically anything that requires going online. Even if the signal is super strong and other computers connect to the internet just fine, the iPad just won't.
I've tried everything short of a full reset. We're in IOS 5.1.1. 6 gigs free. She's frustrated because it's summer vacation and she would really like to watch netflix.

I would suggest backing up your iPad and updating it to the latest iOS, which is iOS 6.1.4

Be sure that you are in range of your Wi-Fi router (access point).
Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and turn Wi-Fi off and then on again.If unable to do so, see this article.
Confirm that your Wi-Fi router and Cable or DSL modem are connected to power, turned on, and indicate that they are connected to the Internet.If not, refer to your network administrator or ISP for assistance.
Restart your iOS device.
Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and locate the Wi-Fi network to which you are connected. Then tap the blue dot and choose Forget this Network. Try to connect to your desired Wi-Fi network again.
Note: You will need to enter your Wi-Fi password again if your desired network requires one.
Turn your Wi-Fi router off and then on again2. If your ISP also provides cable or phone service, check with them before attempting this step to avoid interruption of service.

Is there a way to check why I can't get on the internet, when I'm on the network? I've reentered several times the information on the ipod touch settings, and it connects to my network just fine. I've reset the ipod several times. I'm using a d-link DIR501 router, which my other ipod, laptops, and printer, etc all connect just fine.

Forgetting the network shouldn't prevent you from reconnecting to it assuming you know the SSID (name) and have the password. What happens when you try?

Yes.
You need to,turn on Home Sharing in iTunes on the computer. The computer and the iPad will need to be on the same wireless network. You will also need to make sure the same AppleID accosiared with your iTunes is also added to the Music app in Settings.

I was told to go to AppStore,click onto purchased, then just download all purchased apps again. It took a while, but got that done. Hi! I am having the same problem. What's odd is that a few days ago- the ipad was connecting to the network fine. No changes made. Other devices can connect to this network. I have also been able to connect my ipad to other networks.
I have reset all network settings, reset my ipad, reset the router, hard stop reboot, turn on/off wifi connection. what's interesting is that when i click the arrow next to the network i am trying to log onto- the ip address, router, and dns numbers come up automatically and the router number does not fill in (also- this process takes a long time- at least 5 minutes).
any thoughts?

TS3694 I have the latest update on my iPad. when trying to do a restore iTunes is trying to give me the updat I already have.

I lost my play list, when trying to use Home Sharing, So I turned Home Sharing off and sync over WI-Fi off, and tried to sync my original play lists back. That did not work. So I decided to do a restore (I need to clean up anyway) I have the latest update for my iPad, but iTunes keeps trying to update my iPad and its taking up to 20 hours to do it, then it fails. This is very irritating seeing as I work with these products everyday as I am IT support for my company. I have tried different cables both USB and Ethernet and WI-Fi. I have tried each one of my computers that are authorized; laptop, mac book pro, and my PC. Please give me a solution.

Does the iOS device connect to other networks? If yes that tend to indicate a problem with your network.
Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.
