I have  to charge my iphone 4 every day. I bought it one week ago.

I think there is something wrong with the battery. Battery performance is totally different from what Apple claims.
I turn off push and location service. I don't have any email account set up on my iphone.
Does anyone have the ideas? Thanks in advance.

Apple recommends that I should charge the iphone 4 to 100% and drain it completely. What does "drain it completely" mean - to 0% or to around 20% where "low battery warning" appear?
Draining it completely means from 100% or wherever your battery is left, you are draining it down to 0%, where it will automatically power off because there isn't much power left to the device. Technically speacking, once the phone reaches 1%, it will take a few minute and the phone will completely shut off. This is how you know you drained the battery.
Try resstoring the phone and set up as new and see if that fixes the issue. If not, you might have to drop in at the apple store and have them check it out.

    Hi guys,
    I have a 9 month old iPhone that I barely use - except for the checking the internet briefly every hour or so and I end up having to charge it to 90% twice a day.
    I always recharge when the battery hits 20% and I follow all the basic battery saving tips such as bluetooth, location,WIFI off etc. I generally leave the 3G on all day and I prob send about 4 or 5 texts, rarely calls.
    Does anybody know what could be causing such poor battery performance?

    PS - It's a 4S running iOS6. I'm hoping I don't have to replace the battery after only 9 months? I have fully discharged/charge cycled once a month also. Can anyone advise if they have had a faulty battery if the warranty covered a replacement?

    Go to Settings/General/Reset - Erase all content and settings. the connecto to iTunes and restore as a New phone. Do not restore any backup. If the problem persists you have a hardware problem. Take it to Apple for exchange.
    This assumes that the phone is not hacked or jailbroken. If it is you will have to go elsewhere on the internet for help.

    Charge your iPhone whenever you want to. There are no limitations on when or the duration of charge. Normally it will charge in 3-4 hours with the wall charger, longer if you use a computer USB port.

    I just got my iPad 3 a couple of weeks ago and it's ok. I could say that it great but the battery drains really quick. So i was thinking i could change the way i charge my iPad. Instead of charging it every 2 days to 90%, then the third day drain it down to 0 and charge it to 100% ( that's what i used to do with my first gen iPad' it worked perfect ), is it bad for the battery if i charge my new iPad every day? I don't want to hurt it more then how it came with new, so i don't know if i can charge it every single day to 90% and some other day in the week drain it all the way down and have it full charge. If i charge it every day theni can add more brightness which i would really like to, and add some location services, and maybe use it more!     It doesn't make any real difference how you use or charge the battery just so long as the battery gets used and charged as it's needed.

    It depends on how much you use it. If the battery runs down and you are not using the phone then there's an app that is running away uncontrollably.     Have you tried any troubleshooting steps, like resetting you iPhone, for example?  Or restoring it?
    If not by all means do so because your problem could be caused by software glitches that could be solved resetting or restoring.
    Warranty is for one year from date of purchase and two years if you bought Apple Care at the time of purchase. If your iPhone has a hardware issue within warranty, it would be replaced by Apple.  If it is already out of warranty, you might be eligible for an out of warranty replacement where you pay a much lower amount but this varies according to the country and currency, so it is better to check with Apple or with an authorized reseller.

    Hi everyone, I bought a Mac Air 11" one week ago, so it's super new. When I connect my IPhone 4, now updated to IOS 7, it doesn't recognize it, it doen't charge it and the vibration goes like crazy! Sometimes it appears that there's the lock that forbids it, but I've always used it and I never had problems.. also cause the Ipad is locked as well and there are no problems!
    Has anyone had the same problem??

    More than likely an issue with your phone.
    Perhaps a Visit to an Apple Store or  AASP (Authorized Apple Service Provider) is required.
    The fact that the vibration goes like crazy  is suggestive of an issue.
