I have to hold the charger in place to charge!

I have a 16g ipod touch, and in order for me to charge it, I have to physically hold the charger tightly in place until I hear the beep. It starts charging, then when I release the charger and just let it sit there, it stops. That means I can never charge my ipod unless I am there to hold it in place. This CAN'T be normal right? Any suggestions? Thanks.

Check with where you bought your Touch, either the socket or plug is bad. Sounds like a warranty issue.
