I have to re install my creative suite and acrobat

I am getting a new system this evening, and I need to get my software installed and updated on the new system, once I have the hardware installed. I have been waiting for literally WEEKS for support to call me and help me get everything fixed, but they never call when they are supposed to.
Help.

Your explanation leaves a bit to the imagination. What arrangement do you have that you expect Support to be calling you for weeks when you only got the system this evening?

I'm not clear what you are saying here. Since for S&T versions registration is mandatory, you have a permanent serial on your account and those function just liek any normal serial number of a comemrcial package.

I just installed Adobe Creative Suite and ended up with 29 more icons in LaunchPad.

Most of which are 'apps' that are one-time or little used sub-apps that have nothing to do with the day to day usage of the 7 main apps.
And there they sit waiting for me to assemble them into a 'folder' to get them out of my way.
It's my understanding that I cannot delete them, unless I delete the actual application.
Is this true and what do you think about this?

Maybe this can help:
From Launchpad, you can uninstall apps you downloaded from the App Store, but not apps such as Safari and Mail that are part of Mac OS X Lion.
Click the Launchpad icon in the Dock.
Hold down an app’s icon until all the icons begin to wiggle.
Click an app’s delete button (x) to uninstall the app.
If an icon doesn’t have a delete button, that app can’t be uninstalled.
I'm not sure if this will completely remove the App you don't want to see in launchpad or just remove the icon, so be careful what you delete (if you can!)

when you were install your cs3 you should have been prompted for you serial number. were you?
if not, you probably didn't properly install cs3. copying/migrating/moving etc is problematic.
if yes, did you see any error messages during installation?
if yes, attach a screenshot of the error message.
if not, check you install logs, Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6, CC

The serial number that you might have is an upgrade version & it will be asking for a previous qualifying version serial number.

How do I re-install the creative suite I bought when new laptop doesn't have cd option?

I installed Adobe Creative Suite with the installation cd on my old laptop (mac). Now I have a new laptop (macbook pro retina) and this laptop doesn't have a cd. I downloaded creative suite on new laptop. Now when I try to save a file, the program crashes and the file I was working on is lost (and not saved). How to solve this problem?

Nobody can tell you anything without proper technical details like what program you actually mean, where you save and so on.

How can I install Mac Creative Suite 5.5 on Windows 8 w/ no CD slot?

In college we were roped into buying Macbooks for our courses. We were given Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 and I distinctly remember the IT guy telling us it had the capability of running on one Apple product and one Windows product. Now that I no longer have my Macbook and I'm using a new Windows 8 laptop with no slot for a disc, how do I install the creative suite? Was the IT guy just yanking my chain? I would greatly love to not have that software go unused.

Normally when you bought a Creative Suite the license is good for one platform or the other, but not both. Though you might have had some special licensing arrangement for the school.
If you want to take a shot at it... you can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.
Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site and have cookies enabled in your browser or else the download will not work properly.

Re-installing Adobe Creative Suite

Hello Everyone,
A few years ago I was an illustration student and so I bought the student teacher edition of Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium from amazon. I successfully activated and installed my software.
My issue is that a week ago my computer died and so I need to re-install the Creative Suite. Key points are:
I have not been a student for a year now.
I do not have my original serial number on file or in my saved e-mail.
I do have my product code.
I do have my old computer's hard drive as an external with the originally installed software.
I never registered my product.
Both my old and new laptops are Lenovo convertible notebooks (Windows).
It may not be relevant but though I am from and studied in the UK, I am currently living in Japan, and will be for at least the next four months. It't really important for my career that I get this software back asap so any help would be extremely appreciated.

you'll need your serial number to activate a new installation.
whether you can you can get that from your harddrive depends but is doubtful unless you're computer savvy. belarc advisor is able to retrieve the serial number from a working installation (Belarc Advisor - Free Personal PC Audit, for software, hardware and security configuration information on your computer.…) but using it in your situation will not be easy (if possible) unless you recreate your old (working) computer.
