I have to renenter my serial number - need help!
Hi,
I have to reenter my serial number of LR, after having updates to LR5 this week I hoped to have it improved, but today, same thing again...
LR looses all the personal configurations.
Who knows help for this?

Close out all Applications (Adobe and non-Adobe … probably since Adobe ties into everything via Acrobat)
Navigate to: C:\Program Files X (86)\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe PCD\
Rename the “cache” directory to “cache-backup” (or anything else not “cache”)
Start Photoshop CS6
Click on “License This Software“ and enter your serial number

This has been reported numerous times in the past. It seesms that from time-to-time the response system responsible for sending the key goes away.

I was reading on the internet that Apple just made an iPhone 5 battery replacement program and that I need to provide the serial number to see if my iPhone cualify for the replacement. So i went to the support page where i found the link to the replacement program and just need to put my iPhone serial number and see if it cualify something that i was sure it will because the one that were affected are the one that where bought between septermber 2012 (the month i bought it) and january 2013. When i click submit i got a message that says .
When i saw that "I already replaced the battery" I log in to my account on the support page and I didn't found my actual and only iPhone 5 i have registered in my products, BUT i have another iPhone 5 case open and 3 services to that iPhone 5 i don't know and its not mine. That iPhone have another very different serial number and when i check the services they have done are from an Apple Store in California and I from Puerto Rico.
Can someone explain me what to do or anyone have this same problem, tell me
Thanks in advance.It's possible that if they serviced your phone before, they replaced the entire unit making you ineligible for the battery replacement. Have you had your iPhone replaced thought Applecare recently?

For Creative cloud applications to work you dont need a serial number . CC works on the basis of your Adobe Id & Password so in our case right now I would request you to kindly launch the product and wait for the trial message to come up . Once you have the trial message up , kindly click on Licensing This software and then use your Adobe id & Password that we have used to purchase the creative cloud .

No, the serial number goes with the product. You should deactivate all your installed copies before selling it. Also, if you've used it qualify for upgrade pricing on a later version you can't sell it. Well, you could but the new owner won't be able to install it.

Thanks. Yes. But somehow it's already turned off by the thief. I am just hoping he goes to an area with free wifi to transmit the lost phone mode. I'm giving it a few weeks and i hope that the new iOS 7 function will work. That they won't be able to reset my phone without my apple id & password. I just wish I downloaded the app iHound before.
Oh and I called up our national telecommunications commission and they'll be able to disable my phone's function through my IMEI. -

I recently bought Lightroom and installed on one of my computes. I wanted to instal the program on another computer I have, using the same serial number I already bought and I'm not alowed as it says that the SN is not valid. What shall I do?
It is possible that you downloaded the Creative Cloud trial of Lightroom. The perpetual license key will not work. Uninstall the version on the second computer, this will not interfere with your catalog, preferences and personal files.
Download the appropriate version from the link below and install, your license key will be accepted and everything will be fine.

In Creative Suite 6 for MAC--why do I always have to insert my serial number?
Everytime I try Photoshop I have to enter my serial number--not so with the other apps--how can I avoid this? The window says "Your Trial Has Expired" and asks me to join Creative Cloud which I don't want to do! So I click on "License this software" and enter the serial number and go to Photoshop--but every time?????????? PLEASE NOTE THIS IS FOR MAC SOFTWARE--NOT WINDOWS. I cannot navigate to c:\Program Files X(86)\Common Files\Adobe\AdobePCD as suggested in an earlier reply.
Could you update your Photoshop to the latest version and then check.
