I have 11 updates in my App Store but every time I click the update they ask first my apply ID that would be fine but after they will ask my credit card details since this is only to update. Please help me.

My younger brother had the same problem. You have to go into settings, app store, details and then change your credit card details to none. If there is no none option, you will have to use a different apple id.

I have been using a Lightroom 5 including recent upgrades on my Mac Pro laptop for the past 1 year. This was purchased as an upgrade from Lightroom 4 for which I have a serial number. Today I purchased a new Macbook pro and loaded my Lightroom 5 however it is asking for my serial number which I have misplaced. I am unable to trace my serial number anywhere. UPDATE ALL is grayed out in App Store
I use my old 4s as an extra emai reader, browser, etc. Would like to update several apps on it. However:
- UPDATE ALL button button on the App Store/Updates is grayed out
- Several apps say they need an update but clicking the individual UPDATE button just opens the app
I have restarted App Store and the phone - neither had any effect. I don't have any idea when this stopped working.
Anyone have any hints? Thanks!I later noticed that I could not update iOS via WiFi. Found some fine print that said there was "only 2.2 GB" free space and 3.5 GB needed to update directly. That was a problem I recognized so plugged the phone into old MacBook (new iTunes apparently won't speak to iOS 7) and left the two of them alone for a while.
After that, iOS 8 was installed, all but 3 apps were updated, and the UPDATE ALL button worked for the remaining 3. Problem solved! I am still unhappy about the lack of any effective error message/advisories, but at least the problem is fixed. -

i was losing temper looking for an answer for this. at the end the trick is that you need to show the side bar then only your library will list the apps menu for you to access & start doing the deletion huhhhhh..
Itunes > view (menu bar) > show side bar > under library select apps > all apps list either active & deleted on your device will be displayed in tile view > then you start to delete by right clicking> finally empty recycle bin > -
If you have several Apple devices feeding to the same iCloud account, is there an amount of storage made per device available free? So that you are rewarded for the additional devices?
If this multi purchase if devices is not rewarded with a larger cloud storage being available, would it then be best to have several separate cloud accounts?
Would you lose the ability to mesh data between devices??? Of could you choose to share a smaller part of the data and yet save the rest of the device data to their own cloud? So in other words, split a devices stored data between 2 different icloud accounts? One community iCloud account for partial data and individual account for data that does not need to be shared with the other devices, however it needs to be backed up. The simpler solutions would be If you have several Apple devices feeding to the same iCloud account, an amount of storage made available per device (ie: 5 units of storage free per device)

Obviously Apple do consider people with multiple devices, since the whole purpose of the service is to keep data in sync across multiple devices. Clearly, after consideration, Apple decided to give 5GB of storage for free and provide customers with the option to buy more storage if they want/need more, in line with competing services.
Everyone has their own set of unique circumstances but does that mean everyone should be rewarded with extras for free? At what point should it be considered acceptable to actually pay for additional extras you want?
And by the way, somebody expressing a different opinion, and discussing people's expectations is not being rude. Aren't you from the country that supposedly takes 'freedom of speech' rather seriously? -
Itunes says there's an update but doesn't appear in app store
Anybody else get this? I have been getting this for a while with iTunes updates... There will be updates available but they never appear in the App Store....

I bought a second hand G4 iBook with iLife 09 on it. I have copied iLife to my new Macbook Pro. The applications would not open, so I did a software update and update all three applications, but they will still not open. Can anyone help?
The seller should have given you the original disk so that you can reinstall as needed. But it likely was a single-user license (which really means single computer) so you can only have a copy on one computer at a time. If the seller didn't give you the disk he is probably still using the software on his new Mac. Your best option to get any of the iWork apps to use in OS X 10.6.6 or later is through the Mac App Store. You can then install them on any Mac you have that has access to the Mac App Store using your Apple ID.

When I try to open the iphoto it keeps on asking for the software update, but when I click on the software update it says that all the software in the computer are up to date. I still cant open the iphoto, what should I do?
How old is your Mac? If it's very recent you need to update via the App Store
If you purchased at the App Store you need to update via the App Store
Otherwise you update via Softare Update
If you have moved iPhoto from the default location (i.e. into a Folder) then the updater won't find it. Move it back.
If you have renamed iPhoto, the updater won't find it. Change it back.

I forgot the passcode to turn off restrictions. I have restored my iPad back to the factory settings and then synced it with the latest backup. The restrictions are still on and it is asking for the passcode. Can someone tell me how to get that off.
The only option is to wipe the device clean and restore it to factory settings. Hope you have a backup.
Follow the instructions in iOS: How to back up your data and set up your device as a new device http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137 to restore the device to factory settings.
Once you have setup the device as a new one, you can then sync it back with your iTunes account and all your music, apps, contacts and any other content sync'ed with iTunes will be loaded on the device. Any content that is stored only on the device and not sync'ed with iTunes, like app logins or data, will be lost during this process. Be forewarned that this is a long process and can take a couple of hours or more to complete. This can be painful, but it is necessarily so to prevent users from working around the security settings. After the restore is complete, you can setup a new Restrictions passcode. Make a note of the passcode to avoid this situation in future.

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. -

I have a credit on my accuont but when I want to purchase a song it is asking me to plug in the redemption code on the card. I no longer have the code number. Why is it asking for the numer if my acount clearly indicates the credit?
