I have tried many of the suggestions in the discussions without success - PLEASE HELP

The 404 error message I am getting reads: The URL https://caldav.calendar.yahoo.com/principals/users/MY PERSONAL E-MAIL [email protected]/ encountered HTTP error 404. Make sure the URL is correct.
Of course, I removed the actual e-mail address it is stating for this discussion board.  This thing is popping up every 5 minutes or less.  I have edited, deleted and re-started all of the accounts, to no avail.  I tried System Preferences to no avail.  Any more suggestions out there?

Have you tried closing the app completely and seeing if it works when you re-open it ? From the home screen (i.e. not with the My Hours app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the My Hours app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot.

  • I upgraded to Mac OS X 10.6.8 and Epson Printer Software update 2.7 on the 29th of June and now I cannot print anything.  I have contacted Epson and Apple and both have tried to fix the problem without success. I am using a MacBook

    Does anybody else have this problem?  Epson and Apple don't have any solution.  The message I get from the printer is as follows:

    Thanks for the replies guys.  Epson put me through a complex set of instructions to install an earlier driver.  The problem was not solved.  Apple also tried to solve the provlem by getting rid of the printer, unplugging it etc and then re starting and checking computer/printer communication by printing a test page from the system preferences/Pring & Fax options.  This worked proving the the computer and printer are talking to each other. 
    The printer works properly as a stand alone unit.  That is, I can copy and print and scan and print with no problems.
    The Apple support guy didn't suggest any Apple alternative drivers so I assume there aren't any.
    Neither the Epson nor Apple assistants seemed interested in the printer generated error message.  I would have thought it would at least provide a clue to the problem to someone with technical expertise.
    It seems that there are a lot of problems with the 10.6.8 update so maybe Apple will get to work and bring it up to scratch.  I hope it gets things right soon.

    I am having the same problem, and my computer is authorized through my Adobe ID and I cannot open any books.  I tried downloading a book from the university library, using my ID, the book is in ACSM format, and I cannot open the book because it keeps telling me
    "error check activation"   I am including screen shots to show my computer is authorized.

    Try closing the Camera app:
    1. Double-click the Home button to reveal the Task Bar
    2. Hold down the Camera app for a second or two until you see the minus sign
    3. Tap the minus sign to close app
    4. Tap area above Task Bar to return to Home screen
    If the above doesn't solve the problem, do a reset:

    I had gotten a similar problem, except with "provider services", i believe, but i solved it by copying sqlite3.dll from E:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support to E:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support. doing that solved my first problem, but now i have been getting the error described in this topic (unable to load dataclass info... etc.). i tried reinstalling itunes (i already had 9.1.1, and thats what i reinstalled) by using the method described on apples site (using the "remove programs" tool in the control panel) and then downloading and installing itunes. when i opened it again, i still got the same error, and just now i got an error saying "the instruction at "0x00aadb6b" referenced memory at "0x00000008". the memory could not be read" it gave me the option to cancel and debug, or to press ok and terminate the program. I tried pressing cancel, and the popup went away but nothing else happened. a minute later the popup was back, so i pressed ok and itunes quit. Upon opening Itunes again, i got the very same error. sorry for the long post, but its really been bugging me. thanks for any help you might give, and if you need anymore info, feel free to contact me.

    I am unable to transfer purchased songs on my new computer to my iPod. I have authorised the new computer and also tried to drag the song over to the iPod without success. A message does appear "The iPod is synced with another i tunes library. Do you want to erase this iPod and sync with this i tunes library". Obviously I don't want to lose everything on the iPod which is what will happen if I say yes. Any ideas?

    Your iPod can only be synced with one computer at a time (unless you manually manage your iPod's contents).  If you try to sync the iPod with a new/different iTunes library, everything will be erased from the iPod and replaced with the content that is in the new/different iTunes ilbrary.
    So what you will want to do is copy everything from your iPod over to your new library first.  Then choose the Erase and Sync option or restore your iPod to factory settings and sync everything back over to it. See this older post from another forum member Zevoneer covering the different methods and software available to assist you with the task of copying content from your iPod back to your PC and into iTunes.

    Hi, the last few times i have tried to sync my iPhone 4 to my itunes it won't work. I plug my phone into my computer, to sync any new pictures i have taken or add my new music i have bought on my phone, and hit sync. It appears to start syncing then an error message appears saying the following:
    The iPhone 'my iPhone' cannot be synced. You do not have enough access privileges for this operation.
    I'm not sure what this means or why this keeps happening. I have the latest iTunes and i have not done anything different. It appears to have wiped some of my music from my iPhone and a number of my photo albums off. Please can someone help or advise how i resolve this issue. Thanks. 

    When you set up iOS7 the second screen specifically asks that you create a four digit code .
    That's what you now need to re-enter in your phone.
    Once entered you can go to system/general/Passcode lock
    Re-enter the same code and choose turn Passcode off
    iOS 7 has been designed to enforce minimum passcode security by default or in the case of the new 5s use of finger print level security.

    Problem solved.
    In the docs that came with my Powerlogix accelerator card, I found this sentence buried:
    "If you reset the PRAM, the NVRAM code for OS9 compatibility is cleared, so you will have to boot from the Firmawre Update CD and perform this process again in order to boot in OS9."
    The "process" it's referring to is the process of setting up the NVRAM for booting into OS9 from the CD.
    Fortunately, I was able to find the disk, and it worked as expected. I can now, once again boot into OS9.
    Conclusion: My (unadvised) attempt to load Leopard on this old machine apparently reset the PRAM on the accelerator card and cleared the NVRAM code for OS9 boot. Although I did attempt to reset the NVRAM via Open Firmware, it did not reset it on the accelerator card.
    So, thank you BDAQua, for your "Ah yes" . . . that's all I needed to steer me in the right direction.

    One day I opened up my firefox browser and noticed my bookmarks toolbar icons are huge and stretched out. I'm completely unaware as to how this happened.     Hello, I have trouble with downloading anything by adobe.com.  I have done mainly everything.  Well, my problem is, whenever I download a trial, I can finish and open Adobe Download Manager, but when I attempt to sign in to my account in Adobe Download Manager, it says:  "Error communicating with adobe.com (Error 100) Check your network connection, and restart Adobe Download Manager."  This happens with everything I download made by Adobe, as well as I am having problems with Google Chrome.  Well, anyways, I have tried-seriously - EVERYTHING.  I mean seriously...  I

    iTunes will not import non-iTunes purchases from iOS devices. If you still have your old computer you can transfer your iTunes library to your new one.
