I am running system 10.5.8 on my 17" mac pro laptop and using Firefox 3.6.17, I have tried on several occasions to install your new version 4 and when I drag icon onto my applications folder it tells me I have a newer version already there (which is now the 3.6.17). What is going on?

I have tried on several occasions to install my CS6.
During which I was asked to send proof of eligibility of which i have and also a product/order number. The box allocated will not allow for me to submit the 22 long digit code which is given as the "serial number" I did however quote my my order number. (purchased from apple). This process has been much longer than I have expected it to be, since each time I have been in touch with customer service, a new case number and conversation is brought forth. With a lack of understanding. I would like to know the quickest way to rectify the situation, as I have several things that I'd like to use my software to produce and most certainly a lack of urgency will not aid me in this situation at all.
Only an Adobe employee will have any ability to find out any history regarding your issue, so if you can explain a little more about what your problem is then you will open up the floor for others to possibly help you.
You mention a 22 digit number. An Adobe serial number is a 24 digit set of numbers, so if that is what you are referring to then you are likely not looking in the right place for the serial number. NOrmally a serial number consists of 6 groups of four numbers, and the entry is made into 6 input fields (not just one).
You mention sending proof of eligibility... for what? -
I installed the trial version of Photoshop CS6 but it will not let me open the program.
When I go to open it an error message comes up saying that "it may be damaged or incomplete". But when I go to Adobe Applicaion Manager it says that it is "up to date". How can I fix this?
Run the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool and let it install again.

I'm trying to install a trial version of LiveCycle Designer ES4, and have encountered a required serial number field. No serial number in any of the provided documentation, as it's only a trial. How do I get past this to download the trial?

I can't install the trial version of Adobe Acrobat because the AdobeDownloadAssistant.exe will not run. I get this error:
"This application cannot be installed because this installer has been mis-configured. Please contact the application author for assistance."

I received photoshop elements 11 as a gift 2 years ago. I am fearful that I have lost the serial number. I have the box and the sleeve but neither have a serial number. I have installed the trial version, but hope I can add a serial number. Any suggestions?
If you never bought the product then you cannot get the serial number.

I have a mac running Yosemite and I am attempting to install the trial version of muse I can download the Creative Cloud Installer dmg but when I attempt to run it to install muse it loads half way on the screen then quits and the status bar is gone, I have adjusted privacy settings but can not seem to get it to go past the half way point. Any suggestions ?
Stevens33176288 please utilizes the steps listed in CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed to reinstall Adobe Muse.

I have a new iphone5 and about 5 meters wifi signal is reduced to one scale, and finally cut off my connection with routerom. I also have iphone 4s and ipad3 and on those two I have full signal everywhere. I installed the latest softwer iso 6.0.2 and I still have a problem!
Just get into "General" -> last option is "RESET" -> Opt for "RESET NETWORK SETTINGS"
Your phone will reeboot in a couple of minutes n then get fine on with full signal on the wifi scale.
Worked perfect for me. Do try n let me know.

Hi. I have set up the trial versions of Photoshop CC 2014 and Lightroom 5.6 (ie the Photography plan) on a desktop that I have added a new drive to with Windows 7. Everything works fine BUT it is an old computer and I'm thinking that it may pack up unexpectedly. These things happen. I want to sign up for the Photography plan but I also have a Windows Vista laptop, and that is old too so I may want to put the apps on a new desktop and a new laptop, having already installed on my desktop. That makes three activations. Am I allowed to do this? Cheers. Paul
You cannot have three activations. It's simply not technically possible. If and when the time comes, you simply deactivate/ sign out on one of the old systems and install on the new one. If the system goes belly up, you contact support to reset your account. No need to make it more complicated than that and overthink it.

I recently installed the trial version of Adobe XI and the trial period ended, so I wanted to revert back to the version I already had. I did not see any uninstall feature and my old version was apparently replaced by the trial version. I cannot re-install a previous version b/c I need both a product Id (GOd only knows where that is now) and a way to uninstall the trial. Any ideas?
When you installed the trial, there should have been an option to have ignored your current installation and leave it. Apparently you skipped that case. To uninstall the trial (in Windows) go to Control Panel>Programs & Features and select the Acrobat XI and choose uninstall. After the uninstall run http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html to clean up your system. HOWEVER, if you see your old Acrobat in that window, do not run the cleaner, but do a repair on the old version.
You did not mention the old version you had. You might try from http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-downloads.html. As for the S/N, you should have register and if so you can get it from Adobe. The instructions are at http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html#adobeproductdownload.
Be sure to backup any download of the old installer and the S/N to CD or backup HD for future use. They will not likely continue to be available.
