I have tried over and over to download the itunes 10.5. When i plug my phone in to get iOS5 it says i need to download 10.5 but when i go to download it, my mac says its already downloaded. what do i do?

Answering quickly, though, you need Mac OS X 10.5 or later to be able to run iTunes 10.x. You probably have only Mac OS X 10.4 and if so will need to upgrade your operating system (the upgrade will not be free).

You can do it with Leopard but it depends upon the iTunes version which you did not reveal. Also make sure you are looking in the right place for purchases.
Consider buying a backup drive so you do not need to do this again. If you are going to run old hardware and software you need to live differently because yes, at some time you will find your version of iTunes no longer works. You're lucky it still works with Leopard. As you can see, some versions still work with the iTunes Store but not for repeat downloading.

Have you tried the following troubleshooting document?
iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
If you end up using the If the iTunes Store opens successfully section of the document, and the "Automatically detect settings" checkbox is already checked, try unchecking and rechecking it and clicking OK.

Just bought Ipod nano and having problems downloading the itunes

Wondering if someone can help me. I'm trying to download the itunes and have spent the last 3 hours trying to download. It just won't work and i am so fedup i wish i hadn't bought the nano.

Have you gone to: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ and if that doesn't work you could always go to the closest Apple Store they will make you a disk (for free) if you ask them for it.

I have lost the task bar/start menu, how do I get them back? I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling without success, the other user on my computer does not have this problem.

Yesterday, I went to the site for levno computers, using my web access for my work email. I opened the page to view the outlet items and was never able to get back out of it. Finally used ctrl,alt,delete and ended the task. After that the this is what my task bar looks like, I cannot resize or exit using tabs at the top or bottom they are not showing, nor is start showing in the lower left hand corner where I like it. If you're talking about the menu bar, press ALT or F10 in your keyboard to make the Menu Bar temporarily visible. If you want it to be permanently visible, go into ''View > Toolbars > Menu Bar'', or right-click the Navigation Toolbar (the Reload button, for example) and select ''Menu Bar''.
If this doesn't help, right-click the navigation toolbar, select ''Customize...'' and click ''Restore Default Set''. If it doesn't appear right away, try pressing ALT or F10. You can go into ''View > Toolbars > Menu Bar'' to make it permanently visible, or right-click the Navigation Toolbar and select ''Menu Bar''.
If none of this helps, you may be having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Try disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal.
