I have tried to intall firebox 8 several but windows vista is causing problem with password.I am administrator but it does accept the password when I try to install it i have changed the password but the problem remains.Please help
I am using firefox from several years but recently the vista business op sytem does allow me to proceed.It comes with user or password is not right.I have changed the password and still the same problem.I have downloaded latest version 2 times,tried to insstall it but OPs does not accept the password.I am the administrator and the same password is used to intall it but without any luck
You can not setup a new iCloud account using a PC. You must use an Apple device (Mac or iPhone/iPad) to create the account, then sign into it using your PC.

Tried to pre-order an album but not working. Please help!!!
I tried to pre-order an album. It was one that came with a song that downloaded immedietly. I clicked pre-order and it said some error and to try again. I went to and realized I was charged for that one song that you can get first. So i thought it went ahead and pre-ordered the album anyway. I looked in my purchased history and saw nothing about the album or that one song, so it charged me for nothing! Any ideas how i can fix this?

Reset Password
Start the computer,then press and hold down command and R keys to start into recovery partition.
When you see the Apple logo, release the keys.
Wait until OS X Utilities window shows up.
Move the mouse to the menubar at the top and click "Utilities", then select "Terminal"

Terminal window will appear.
Type in resetpassword and press enter on the keyboard.
Leave the Terminal window open.
Reset Password Utility window will open with Macintosh HD selected.
Select the user account from the popup menu box under “Select user account”.
Enter a new password.
Reenter the new password for the user.
Enter a hint.
Click the "Save" button.
Click in the menubar and select Restart.

Sorry for the long title -- I am new to this forum.
This should be SIMPLE -- just trying to get old Mac G4 desktop to print on directly attached (USB) HP Laserjet 1020.
Several online sources say the HP drivers for Laserjet 1022 work fine ...
I deleted all printers, installed the HP drivers (all prompts indicate it is installed fine), re-connected the printer by USB. OSX recognizes the printer and auto-populates its name in the Name: box, puts "desktop" in the Location: field ... and the Print Using: field is gray, saying "Please select a driver or printer model"
I click the arrow to expand options, choose Other ... and get a selection box for identifying the driver. I open the folder with the PKG file and click it ... and then find myself back at the printer setup with the the Print Using: field still gray, and still saying "Please select a driver or printer model."
I have tried this process a half-dozen times with re-starts in between --- cannot get past this sticking point -- aargh !

Safe Boot , (holding Shift key down at bootup), it will try to repair your Disk Directory while the spinning radian is happening, so let it go, run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions.

ONE field is causing problem. Please help
Hello experts,
I’m trying to get some data from 4 different tables and having a little difficulty. I need you experts help in this regards. I’ve got 4 tables. ActiveMembers, Member_lookup, Name, Corp. I need 3 fields from ActiveMem, 1 Fields from Member_Info, 2 fields from Name and 1 from Corporate_Info.
ActiveMem, Member_Info and Name has a common field MEM_TYPE. So I used LEFT OUTER JOIN to join them. I also joined ActiveMem with Corporate_Info with ID which is common.
I’ve achieve what I want but there is 1 field which is messing up things. This field causing so many repetitions and it is coming from Name table. I’m selecting 2 fields from this table MEM_STATUS AND MEM_STATUS_DATE. When I join all 4 table using Left Outer Join WITHOUT MEM_STATUS_DATE then I don’t get any repetition and everything looks great.

The output you posted looks like the perfect answer to some particular question, just not the question you have right now.
When there are several different mem_status_dates, what do you want for output. The first one? The last one? The one closest to today? The average? Some other kind of aggregate of all of them? Something else entirely?

After all you've tried, Dah*veed is probably right about needing warranty assistance.
But first check to be sure Settings-Airplane Mode is set to OFF, and Settings-WiFi-WiFi is set to ON.
Try unplugging your WiFi router for a few seconds. Then reset the iPad's network. Go to Settings-General-Reset-Reset Network Settings. You will need to reconnect to your WiFi.

If Join was on then your home wi-fi must be set to Non-Broadcast. If you did not set this up (maybe your provider did) then you will need to find the Network Name they used, and any password they used. The SSID is Security Set ID and to see more try http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SSID . Basically it is the name used to identify your router/network. A lot of times the installer will leave it set as LinkSys, or Broadcom or whatever the manufacturer set it as for default. Your best bet is to get whoever installed it to walk you through how they set it up, giving you id's and passwords so you can get in. HOWEVER, if you are not comfortable with this (if you set security wrong, etc.) you would be well ahead of the game to hire a local computer tech (networking) to get this working for you. You can also contact the vendor of your router and get help (if it is still in warranty), or at least get copies of the manuals as pdf files. Sorry I can't give you more help, I hope this gives you an idea where to go from here to find more.

have Mozilla Firefox as my browser vs Internet explorer. This morning when I tried to open Mozilla after several attempts it said it had crashed with a window that I could check the box to send the report to Mozilla but it wont even let me send the report I can get on the internet with explorer but dont want to go back to that so would I just delete mozzila and start all over or will that not clear up the problem? Im lost help

I was able to use the findmyiphone app last week, but now I have been getting an error message "Can't load findmyiphone. There was a problem loading the application." please help as we are trying to locate an ipod with pics of a no deceased loved one.
Had the same problem and the same message -- was suddenly unable to access icloud apps on my pc, also using Windows 7 and Internet Explorer. After several days of pulling my hair out, decided to try a different browser and was able to get in by using Firefox instead of Internet Explorer. Hope this helps.
