I have tried to restore an i-phone but now i cant get rid of the usb cable to be connected to i-tunes logo on phone screen and its not letting me power off the phone

i tried to restore an i-phone to factory settings and now i have error code 3014 and i have the usb cable and i tunes logo on my screen and it wont let me power of i have phone connected already to i-tunes

This error occurs when iTunes is unable to reach gs.apple.com in a timely fashion. Follow the steps below in Unable to contact the iOS software update server gs.apple.com.

Go into Settings App and turn OFF Find My iPhone. It will ask for your old password, but in the future you can use your new Apple ID account. Apple, as I said, does not repair your iPhone. All hardware service issues are handled by replacing the unit. So they can't handle the home-button issue without also addressing the issue of the cracked screen, for which they'll almost certainly charge you. But you can make an appointment at an Apple Store or call Apple tech support and plead your case.

If you mean that the iphone froze in some random app you have ....the solution is easy .
Press and hold both Home Button and On/OFF button for about 15 seconds . The device should turn off and on again .
If not than please wait until the battery goes out and try the above step again whilst device is off .

HT1212 my iphone is frozen on the lock screen and will not let me enter my passcode, I have held the home button and power button for up to 1 minute and plugged it up to itunes because its locked it wont work? i need help

i have connected it to itunes like i was told to do and it wont do anything because its locked with a passcode and its frozen on the lock screen and will not let me enter myt passcode and after a while it just shuts off, it has been doing this for almost 48 hours. I was told to hold the home button and power button to shut it down and that I could then restart it and it would work... Nothing has helped, What can I try???

Reset the device by pressing and holding the home and power buttons for 15-20 seconds until the white Apple logo appears.
If that does not resolve, restore the device via iTunes on the computer.
If all else fails, take the device to Apple (or whomever provides support in your country) for evaluation and possible replacement.

My iPad has been stolen. Someone broke into my house on Tuesday. I have already tried locking it through icloud. I have reported this to the authorities but they cannot do much unless I give them the serial number to the iPad. With the serial number they can put it into a database and send that inormation to pawn shops, so i the theie tries to pawn it, the pawn shop employeee can convscate the iPad and hand it over to the authorites. What exactly happens when you try to sync?
Does iTunes see the iPod?
Was the iPod previous synced to another iTunes library/computer?
Have you successfully synced from this iTunes library/computer before?
If so have you done anything like update iTunes on the computer since it last successfully synced?
Do the songs play in iTunes?
Does any media now sync to the iPod?
Do you have the right boxes checked to sync?

I know how to get my old tabs back but every time I close Firefox it always warns me that I am closing multiple tabs.

Do not use "Clear history when Firefox closes" to clear the "Browsing History".

I'm having the same problem. I've tried going into the Library and deleting the mail plist file(s), which fixes the problem, but only temporarily. Would appreciate any help here too!

Just downloaded the newest version of itunes as of 1/31/14 and suddenly after years of my nano 5th gen working fine is rejected by itunes. On top of that it ejects it and will not let it charge. The nano works fine besides and charges via x-box or plug in

I was working through the troubleshooter - looks like there is no driver for the nano.

I'm sorry to hear that your iPhone 4s was lost, and glad that you were able to upgrade.
If your iPhone 4s was backed up to iCloud or using iTunes, you can restore the backed up data to your new phone.
