I have tried unsuccessfully to download a trail of CS6 web and design. I keep getting error code 109. Adobe must think I already have it as they send emails asking how I enjoyed the trail? There is no space in the questionaire to say "I never got it downloaded!" Can anyone help me?

I just purchased a movie from iTunes and it will not download on either my new macbook and iMac. Keep getting error 8008.

I have been having this problem with other movies for about a week now. I just tried my new macbook pro to see it it would download on it but I received the same error code 8008 (corrupt).
I have about 60 movies I would like to download and back-up but it is happening on all of them.

You probably need to delete your iTunes media downloads folder. From http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3297:
"Error -50," "-5000," "8003," "8008," or "-42023"
These alerts occur due to timeouts or conflicts trying to write a file during download.
If you encounter this issue while accessing iTunes Store:
See iTunes 9: "One Moment Please" or "Error (-50)" message when accessing iTunes Store
If you encounter this issue while while downloading something from the iTunes Store:
Delete your iTunes Downloads folder, located in:

Getting an error trying to extract CS6 Web and Design Premium after downloading

Hi, I purchased the CS6 Web and Design Premium back in 2013 and I have installed it on my laptop successfully. I got a new Windows desktop PC this year and I'm trying to install this on here without any success. I have downloaded the two files from the "Download CS6 Products" page on Adobe's website, but when I try to open the .exe file, I come up with an error saying "A problem occurred while extracting some files. Check available space on your computer and write privileges on the destination folder." I have no idea what this means or what I'm doing wrong? I would appreciate any help since I've been trying to get this working for about an hour with no progress at all.

make sure you downloaded both files completely and that they match.
if you're not sure how to do that or you think you have done that, what files (name and extension) and what file sizes did you download?

Check for hardware issues
Try to restore your iOS device two more times while connected with a cable, computer, and network you know are good. Also, confirm your security software and settings are allowing communication between your device and update servers. If you still see the alert when you update or restore, contact Apple support.
Common errors: 1, 10-47, 1002, 1011, 1012, 1014, 1000-1020.

This should help you empty what's currently in the trash, but is no guarantee you got everything related to MacKiller off the drive. See Ogelthorpe's link.

I have Windows 7 on a Dell. Open and play iTunes in the compatability mode and use Windows XP (service pack 2). Disregard any messsages to disable the compability mode. This has worked for me. I have also reinstalled iTunes and played with burn speeds etc. These ideas did not work. Compatability mode works.

Try this - Disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily. Then download and install the iOS update.
After you install iOS 5.x, the next update can be installed when connecred via wireless.

Also, check your hosts file to verify that it's not blocking iTunes from communicating with the update server. See iTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting—follow steps under the heading Blocked by configuration (Mac OS X / Windows) > Rebuild network information > Mac OS X > The hosts file may also be blocking the iTunes Store. If you have software used to perform unauthorized modifications to the iOS device, uninstall this software prior to editing the hosts file to prevent that software from automatically modifying the hosts file again on restart.
You could just update or uninstall the security software on your computer and then test again.

That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.
XP instructions in the following document: How to perform disk error checking in Windows XP
Vista instructions in the following document: Check your hard disk for errors
Windows 7 instructions in the following document: How to use CHKDSK (Check Disk)
Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?
