How: Restart my computer and install it, now I can not download the Mountain Lion. Help please
At this point you must buy Mt Lion from the Apple online store. (In US, 1-800-MY-APPLE.) They will sell your a redemption code that another devision of Apple emails two you in two parts in 2 or 3 days. One email has a password for a locked pdf. The second email has the locked pdf which you have to use the password to open, it then has the redemption code.

Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Reinstalling OS X Without Erasing the Drive
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility and press the Continue button. After Disk Utility loads select the Macintosh HD entry from the the left side list. Click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If Disk Utility reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit Disk Utility and return to the main menu.
Reinstall OS X: Select Reinstall OS X and click on the Continue button.
Download and install the OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 Combo Update.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.

It appears that you upgraded your computer to Mountain Lion and were using Microsoft Office 2004. In the short term, if you need to open and modify Word files, go to the file in the Finder and Control-Click on it. A menu will come up: go to Open With... and select TextEdit. This should allow you to open, modify and save the file for the short term.
You can do the same trick to open Microsoft Excel files in Preview and print them; but I do not think you can modify them in this way.
Workarounds for Microsoft Office 2004 since upgrading to Mountain Lion:
1. Upgrade to Microsoft Office 2011. This version works in Mountain Lion. However some of your legacy 2004 files may convert badly.
2. Restore the version of OS X that you were using before Mountain Lion.
3. Partition your hard drive and/or attach an external hard drive and install Snow Leopard on it and use the 'dual-boot' method of booting into Mountain Lion when you need it and booting into Snow Leopard when you need to run your PowerPC applications such as Microsoft Office 2004.
4. The method I use, which allows me to run my PowerPC applications concurrently with Lion: I installed Snow Leopard (with Rosetta) into Parallels 7 in Lion:

If so, your only way to download is to use the recovery method (hit keys Command + R while restarting). Can't use the app store.

Lion on 2 computers but not MBP, what happens to Cloud?
I have 2 iMacs both of which are now loaded with Lion, but I have not moved data to Cloud yet. I just realized my MBP with Intel Core Duo will not run (load) Lion. So If I go to cloud with my 2 lion computers, what happens to my MBP and SnoLeopard ? Does mail, address book, iCal stil sync with other computers that are in the cloud? Or do I have to buy a new computer to have all Lion to have everything sync like they do now (extremely important to continue that)

but here is what I was getting at,
If I stay with SL on my MBP (because I cannot upgrade to Lion on that computer) and it stores mail, address book, iCal etc info somewhere in cyberspace through Mobile me,
But on my other 2 iMac computers that are on Lion now, and I go to the Could on those 2 computers, and Lion will sync stuff through the Cloud, I am concerned that my info (mail, address book iCal etc) will be stored somewhere else in cyberspace and if they (mobile me data and Lion data) don't sync themselves, I will have 2 different address books, iCal etc sets of data for example out there and my iMac wont syncwith MBP and visa versa.
This must be a common issue as people have mixtures of SL/Mobile me and Lion/Cloud.
Maybe I dont understand how the Cloud works

Have down loaded Yosemite over Mountain Lion. Indesign CS5 does not operate although Bridge, Light room and also Photoshop elements operate OK A sub menu from Indesign request Java SE 6, after a long play with Apple I end up with Java 10 How can I solve this problem rapidly. And Google chrome just keep loading the page for hours and nothing is appear on its browser. But safari and firefox working absolutly fine.

Best Regards,You need to upgrade your copy of MS Office. You're using a version that is 8 years old (at least). You can buy Office 2011, which will work. You could also get a copy of Pages from the App Store, which is cheaper and will open Word files (though not perfectly). Or you could get a free Office clone, like OpenOffice or LibreOffice.

I downloaded the mountain lion from the app store and it downloaded. When i installed the mountain lion it said that the hd disk is broken and cannot be repaired, and the other disk doesnt have enough space! HELP and i cannot return to my desktop with the old sofware so i cant use my computer normaly
This error means that your hard drive is badly corrupt and cannot be repaired by Disk Utility. Since you say you don't have backups, this is very bad news. You may already have lost data irrevocably.
First order of business needs to be backing up whatever you can, but this may be difficult to do if the machine won't start up any more. See step 1 of the following post:

I have purchases the OS X Mountain Lion on Apr 7 and it keep telling me to download I have gone though this 5 time. That i'm i doing wrong. it say it is installed But when i go to back to where my apps are it say to download and that is the only one that as it on there..Can you help..
The Mt Lion installer deletes itself from your Apps folder when it has finished the installation. It is available to download again should you ever need it, such as to install on one of your other qualifying Macs. You don't have to continue to download it and install, it's installed.

There are no keys, there is no trial version of OSX (ML or Mavericks) and Mavericks is free

Lets say this, if you don't and you have a problem with the 10.8 installer that requiring erasing the entire Macintosh HD or drive, then your looking at spending a great deal of time and money trying to get your data off before erasing.
It only takes a few minutes to copy Users folder or a few hours of software working to set up a TM or bootable clone, but god if you need it it's a lifesaver.
Take the time to prevent a possible problem, because computers and hard drives can instantly die and take all your data anyway.

Then attempted to install on my Mac Mini 2011 and continuously getting the following message:
"This copy of the Install OS X Mountain Lion application can't be verified. It may have been corrupted or tampered with during downloading."
I noticed that I am not the only one...
Anyone with a solution.
So far all I see are various attempts by people, some successful others not.

Trauma Surgery Critical Care.Yup, the safe mode/repair/redownload/install finally solved it - had to do it after midnight as all the 4gig downloads have already trashed my 60gig internet limit for this month, installed REALLY slowly bugt eventually at 0330 i had working Mountatin Lion on my Macbook.
This has to be the most tedious upgrade, Mac OR Windows, I've ever done. Takes me back to inserting 15 floppies for sheer inconvenience, and from the numbers reporting this problem, it's more than an occasional glitch. And for some reason the download always fails if left unattended, even if all the sleep modes, etc, are negated.
3/10 to Apple this time around. -
