You can split a project in two by doing this.
1) Go to the Project Library View.
2) Select your project, and click FILE/DUPLICATE PROJECT. Give it a name like "your project name - part 1".
3) Do this again. This time name it "your project name - part 2"
4) Open Part 1 for editing. Delete everything in the second half.
5) Open Part 1 for editing. Delete everything in the first half of the project.
At the end you should have your original project, plus the same project in two parts. -

Sorry but i can't explain properly my problem. When i bought my copy of LR, adobe gave me a serial number to use 3 times to install LR on 3 different computers. I installed it on my mac, on my pc and now, due to the faulty hard disk, i have to reinstall LR on my mac. When i ll input the serial number on my mac, will i use the third possibility to use my serial number or LR will recognize it was installed before on that computer and i will have the possibility to use the serial number for the third time on a third computer? I purchased Adobe Creative Suite C2 and have been using it for years on the same computer without any problems with using it. Recently upon opening Photoshop I received a pop up window saying due to Adobe Software security we need you to activate your CS2 software. I tried, phone activation, web activation, nothing is working. I have the serial number and my Adobe account information. Any suggestions?

Can I run Release Candidate (19.02), Beta, Nightly, Aurora and ESR versions on the same computer?
I know I can run the Beta and Nightly together on the same computer because they are installed in different directories. What I do then is that I have a Profile for each version. What I do is I run FireFox.exe -ProfileManager when I start either the Beta and Nightly builds.
My Question is can I also install the Aurora, Release Candidate and ESR versions on the same computer like I do with the Beta and Nightly? If so, how do I go about installing them in different directories? I will create new profiles for each version. What I then do is, copy everything in my original Profile to the newly create profiles so I can keep all my plugin/addons, themes, bookmarks, etc. the same.
Next question, (I think I know the answer but I just want to make sure) now can I sync my bookmarks from each of the different profiles that I created?
Secondly, I now I can do the ABOUT:CONFIG in the address bar of Firefox, does anyone have any idea where I can read up on what each entry means? Also, are there any other secrets in Firefox, similar to the ABOUT:CONFIG trick? I know of one app where you can do ABOUT:ME, but that's all I know.
I know this has been asked billions of times, but I also have to ask. Is there any chance at all that Firefox, Thunderbird, and/or Seamonkey will be ever release for the iOS from Apple? I know that it's impossible, but maybe someone MIGHT have some positive thoughts on this?
Lastly, I know this is off topic, but I'll give it a shot. I'm using Outlook 2013, does anyone know if Outlook can handle Newsgroups? The reason why I ask is because I've just learned that there are a ton of newsgroups for Firefox, ThunderBird, and SeaMonkey. I would like to, somehow, get those Newsgroups in Outlook 2013. I already get allot of the feeds for other things, so that's not a problem.

You can do a custom install of each version and install each version in its own program folder.<br />
Safest is to modify the desktop shortcut and add -P "profile name" to the command line to start each version with its own profile.<br />
Be careful with clicking a file in Windows Explorer to open the default browser, so make sure to select the correct profile in the profile manager and check the don't ask setting.

App Store won't open, error message "App Store can not be opened because of a problem". I haven't been able to update anything for a week or so. I have used Disk Utility, Drive Genius, deleting the .plist, all to no avail. My Mac Mail hasn't worked since the upgrade to Mavericks. Mavericks can't see my LaCie Cloudbox. Can any of these be solved by me?
I have the same error "XXXX App cannot be opened because of a problem". And I also cannot open iTunes and get the error "This copy of iTunes is corrupted or is not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes."
Only Apple apps seem to be at issue here...
Repairing Permissions did not fix this.
I noticed this after the last Software update. Is there no fix other than re-installing?

The EULA allows you to install Acrobat on one device. There are two exceptions:
If you are the only user of Acrobat on your work computer, you can also install it on your home computer, as long as you are again, the only user of Acrobat on that 2nd system
If you are the only user of Acrobat on your desktop system, you can also install it on your laptop, as long as you are again, the only user of Acrobat on that 2nd system.
In both cases, you cannot use both versions at the same time.

I have the same problem. Right now my iPhone 5S shows 3 instances of the computer to which it is connected under Settings » General » iTunes WiFi Sync. I'm having problems connecting and syncing, and this is probably the cause: the phone chooses one of these connections, and it isn't the one that's actually in use. What's probably happening is that the phone and computer establish a connection using a dynamic IP address, the address becomes "disassociated" due to error, another address is associated, the phone retains each address/link, and each link is displayed as if it represents a separate computer (the fact that the name of the computer is identical is ignored, as the only thing that is considered important is the IP address). But that's all conjecture. More important, I'm not sure how to fix the problem. A network reset doesn't do it.
