I Have Two Icloud Accounts

Tired of having two icloud/iTunes accounts. How can I merge and or transfeer purchases all to one account then delete the other.
Thanks in advance
Jose D.

You can put all the content in one iTunes library, but not merge Apple IDs. You'll need to sign in with each separate Apple ID to update the applications.

  • I have two iCloud accounts, my original one that I used for iTunes years ago which has all my content, apps etc and a mobile me one which I got when I set mobile me up which has all my settings etc, this is causing problems, can I merge them?

As I said I have two iCloud accounts, both do different things, i.e. my original iTunes account has all my app's and music etc, and then also the account which was set up for me when I set up a 'mobile me' account has all my calendars, contacts, settings etc, how can I merge these or even easily set my settings etc to go to my older iTunes account, I have tried to set up family sharing and all I can share is my calendars not my apps because they are with another iTunes account.
I am also a little concerned that my fire vault has just set its self up using the mobile me account, if I was to get rid of an account I imagine this would be the easiest one to ditch then what would happen to all my encrypted data?
    Many thanks for your help.

I am logged into the same things on both my iPhone and my MacBook Pro, except for mail. I use a gmail IMAP account and everything there already works on both machines. The iCloud account on my iPhone uses one Apple ID and the one on the Mac uses the second Apple ID.

  • Can u have two icloud accounts attached to one itunes account

i would like to have my daughter ipod touch on a different account so that i dont recieve her texts on my phone.  can i have two icloud accounts to one itunes account so that i dont have to open another itunes account and repurchase all her apps and music

    No really.  See:
Creating an iCloud account: Frequently Asked Questions
You can resolve the Messages and similar FaceTime problem by first setting them up using the Apple /iTunes ID email address and then adding another email messaging/calling email address and then deleting the Apple/iTunes ID email address.

  • I think i may have two iCloud accounts how can i merge them?

I think i may have two iCloud accounts as i changed my apple id, I don't seem to be able to access the other.  How can i see my documents in the cloud

    Hello HVD64
    I'm afraid there is no way too merge two icloud accounts together per se. However if you;
    1. Go to SETTINGS on your iPhone or iPad.
    2. Go to iCLOUD.
    3. Scroll to the very bottom, press DELETE ACCOUNT. Before you panic, this is not going to Delete your iCloud account. It is simply going to delete the bridge that connects your device to the iCloud.
    4. Choose to KEEP ITEMS ON YOUR DEVICE if asked.
Then sign into your 2nd account, and this will merge both accounts onto one device. There is not much else you can do I'm afraid!
    Kind regards
    Edward

  • I have two iCloud accounts and I want to delete one, help!

I have two icloud accounts and I want to delete one and have the one across all my devices, however, I have tried a number of times, I have deauthorised all my computers on the old icloud/apple account, yet every time I log back onto my main compputer, the old account comes up. I have tried everything, any help would be appreciated....
    Cheers

You can't delete an iCloud account.  You can, however, sign out of that account and just stop using it.  Then sign in to your second account on all devices account.

  • I seem to have two icloud accounts--how can i consolidate?

I seem to have two iCloud accounts--how do I consolidate?

If your second account is actually an iCloud account with data in it, as opposed to a login for iTunes, iTunes in the Cloud and iTunes Match (which isn't actually anything to do with iCloud itself) you can sign in with it in System Preferences>Mail, Contacts and Calendars and its data will appear alongside the main account. (You can't use PhotoStream and a few other facilities with this secondary account, and you don't get 'push' email, only checking at intervals).
If the second ID is in fact only for iTunes just go on as you are: there is no conflict about doing this and you won't even notice as Keychain will log you in with the correct ID in each case. It's also better security not to have your iTunes login also your email address, given the number of complaints about hacked iTunes accounts.

  • Can i have two icloud accounts on my iphone

can i have two icloud accounts on the same iphone?

Yes.  You can set up a second ("secondary") account on your phone by going to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Add Account>iCloud and signing in with a different ID.  There are some limitations with secondary iCloud accounts to be aware of.  Only the primary account can be used for Photo Stream, Bookmarks, Documents, iCloud Backup and Find My Device.  Also, push mail only works for the primary account; secondary account mail is fetch.

Can I have two iCloud accounts on one IPad?

Yes, you can add a second ("secondary") iCloud to a device as mendi1 stated.  There are some limitations with secondary iCloud accounts.  Only the primary account can be used for Photo Stream, syncing Bookmarks and Documents, iCloud Backup and Find My iDevice.  Also push email only works in the primary account; only fetch mail is supported in a secondary account.  See http://support.apple.com/kb/ts4020.

It's a little tricky to move data from one iCloud account to another but it can be done. But what makes you think you have 2 iCloud accounts.

what information exactly do you want to consolidate? you can sever the connection between some info on your device from an icloud account and merge it into another account when you sign into it after, but you can't just merge the two accounts in their entirety. if you're more specific about the info, i can help you out

Can I have two iCloud ID's on my iPad? Both my husband an I have accounts and share the pad
Yes, you can have multiple iCloud accounts on the iPad but only one account will be the primary with all iCloud info.
The other account will only use some of the iCloud info.
Set > Mail, Contact, Calendars > Add account.
Add the other iCloud account and you can see what will be there.

  • I have two iCloud accounts and want to merge them

I have accidently set up two iCloud accounts and now I need to merge them to get rid of one so that all my accounts are in one place. I have not been able to get my PC Outlook file synced with since Mobile Me is no longer available and I just now figured this out.

You cannot merge them. You could manually export all the data from one and reimport it into the other: or you could sign in with one in System Preferences>iCloud and with the other in System Preferences>Mail, Contacts and Calendars, which would make both sets of data available on your Mac.

  • I have two iCloud accounts .mac and .me. My contacts are duplicated 2 and 3 times. I only want one account.

Somehow, I ended up with two iCloud accounts. A .mac and a .me. I only need one but can not make the .me the primeray one (it tells me that the email is already in use). Anyways, I also have my contact records duplicated 2 and 3 times. I went to the Apple store in Beijing (I'm in China now) and they did not seem to know much about iCloud. They told me that I have to erase my contacts on the iPhone and iPad and then manually erase the duplicates. Is there another way to do it? How can I set up iCloud so that I only have one account?

You can't delete an iCloud account.  You can, however, sign out of that account and just stop using it.  Then sign in to your second account on all devices account.

  • HT4847 I have two iCloud accounts, one with 10GB and one with 20GB...how can I merge them into the 20GB plan?

I have two iCloud plans.  One with 10GB that backs up my 1Phone and iPad.  I also have a 20GB plan for my iMAC and MAC BookPro.  How can I merge them so that I only have one plan and one iCloud to manage?    My first instinct is to delete the one on my iPhone/iPad and add the iMac plan, but I don't want to do it without an expert opinion.

No, accounts cannot be merged.  Am I an expert?  I only know what I've read here numerous times regarding merging of plans - the answer is always emphatically NO.  Since this is a user-to-user forum (Apple doesn't participate here), you'll have to do some searching about on this topic and either accept or reject the "common" advice.
