  • I have two iCloud accounts and I want to delete one, help!

I have two icloud accounts and I want to delete one and have the one across all my devices, however, I have tried a number of times, I have deauthorised all my computers on the old icloud/apple account, yet every time I log back onto my main compputer, the old account comes up. I have tried everything, any help would be appreciated....
    Cheers

You can't delete an iCloud account.  You can, however, sign out of that account and just stop using it.  Then sign in to your second account on all devices account.

        Hi karenfaye,
To delete one of your online VZW accounts, login to that mobile number's account online and unregister it. If you need more assistance, send us a direct message or a private message on facebook.

  • I have two iTunes account.  How do I delete one?

When my husband purchased an iPod, I downloaded an iTunes account for him.  Now that we both have iPhones, my account comes up with his name.  Is there anyway to delete and start over with two individual accounts?

    You cannot.

  • I have two iCloud IDs.  How do I merge them?

I have two iCloud IDs.  How do I merge them?

Unfortunately, you cannot merge iCloud accounts.
You might instead export the data from your contacts and calendars etc from one account to the other.
Of note, iCloud and iTunes accounts are different accounts whilst you can export data as mentioned previously, from one iCloud to another, you can not transfer purchases made in one iTunes account to another.

  • On Maps, on my iPad, I have 10 saved routes. How do I delete one that I don't want?

On Maps, on my iPad, I have 10 saved routes. How do I delete one that I don't want?

You cannot delete/remove apps from your App Store purchases. They will remain there forever but they are not necessarly still on the device. You can hide your past purchases but need to do so using iTunes.
    See: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4919
As was mentioned, just because they are showing in your purchases, it does not mean that they are on the device. If you have deleted them from the device and are no longer on the device, they are not using any of your device's storage. You'l' have to look elsewhere to see what is taking up the space you are missing.
Check Settings>General>Usage, then tap on Show all Apps to get an idea of what is physically on the device (Apps, Music, Photos, Videos, etc.)

  • I have two iCloud accounts.  How do I get rid of one?

Apparently when I moved from MobileMe to iCloud, I inadvertantly now have two Apple accounts.  How do I clean this up and have only one?

Since your phone has all your mail, calendar and contact info and you are signed in with your @me.com account all your data should also be on Apple's iCloud servers. Log in at http://icloud.com and confirm that all the data is there. Make sure that the data on iCloud is correct and up to date. If it is not let me know.
If the data is all there, then on your Mac, from System Preferences, log out of both MobileMe and iCloud. Now, launch Mail, iCal and Address Book and make sure all MobileMe and iCloud accounts have been logged out. You do that by checking the Preferences for each app. You should delete any data that is still in those apps since you will be pulling in fresh data from the iCloud servers.
Now in System Preferences, using iCloud, log back in using your @me.com account. This will sync your Mac up with all the data on the server and everything should work the way you want it to.

  • My systems preference does not have an iCloud icon.  How do I get one?

I am trying to sync my computer with my iphone 4S.  I have an iCloud account.
It syncs my contacts and calender.  I am trying to do the photo stream.  But
in System Preferences there is not an icloud icon.  There is a mobileme icon, but
I do not use a mobileme account.  What do I do to get the iCloud on my mac.

Ah, ok, so what you need to do is order the retail Snow Leopard disk first (10.6) - either from the Apple store or online resellers ($29). Install that and update to the latest version - 10.6.8. Once there, you will note a new app called Mac App Store - that is where you go (using your iTunes account) and buy Lion 10.7 - it is a very large download (close to 4 GB) and not available as a DVD. Once downloaded, dismiss the installer and immediately go to your Applications folder. Find the Installer and copy it to another location for safekeeping/future use (so you don't have to download it again). Then double click the installer and run it.
Note: PowerPC apps will no longer work under Lion (i.e. Appleworks, Quicken).

  • I have two apple id's how do I delete the one that I can't remember the password to?

I have 2 apple id's - when I try to update my apps the old apple id comes up.  Essentially, I changed internet carriers so the old one is  cox.net and the active one is verizon.net.
How do I erase the cox.net one?  I cannot for the life of me remember the password.

Apps/purchases will ALWAYS be tied to the account from which they were purchases and will always need to be updated using that account.

  • HT204053 I have two itunes accounts and would like to delete one of them so that there is no confusion. So how can I delete one of the accounts???

need to delete on of my itunes accounts
any help. I've searched the apple website and can't seem to find any information on deleting an itunes account.

It's not currently possible to delete an account, all you can do is remove any personal info from and stop using it - but any content that you downloaded from iTunes with it will remain tied to that account, and only that account will be able to re-download its content, authorise its content on a new computer, and download updates to its apps.

  • I have 2 iphoto libraries. How can I delete one? I have tried to put one in trash but it deletes both. Help

I was transfering photos from an external hard disk. While doing this somehow or another I created another library. I have an additional icon on my desktop. I tried to put it in the trash but then it deletes iphoto from the computer. I just would like to get rid of the icon without deleting iphoto.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
If you've copied your iPhoto library to an external disk, it's normal that it appears. Anyway, open iPhoto holding Option key and look at the library you want to delete. At the bottom of the window, you must see the directory where it's, so just go here and delete your library

  • I have 2 sets of permissions, how do I delete one?

    I have five Macs, one G4 and 4 - G5's. G5s are running Snow Leopard 10.6.8.
Five graphic designers, who back up their work on a Mac XServer 10.6.6
Permissions on the designer's Macs are set to read/write for everyone.
Designer A backs up his job to the XServer, then Designer B needs to edit it, so she attempts to pull it off the XServer.
Permission denied for only some of the files, not all.
I guess I need some guidance on the proper way to administer the ACL on the Xserve.
I have set up an ACL group on the server. The strange thing is, there are 2 sets of permissions showing, one seems normal, but the other is labeled "Custom".
Is there any way I can log in as something other than the Administrator, and "wipe out" the custom permissions?
I usually do not mess around in the Terminal.
    Thank you for any insights...

As Templeton Peck says, the proper way is to use the repartitioning facility, but this will result in loss of data.
However, SubRosaSoft do make a utility, Volume Works ($10), that will do this resizing on the fly. A complete back up would be prudent in either case.

  • I have accidently  established two (2) iclouds accts. This is causing major problems.  How do I delete one acct?? Also today I tried to sync my Blackberry 9930 with the BB Desktop software and I lost all my addresses on my BB phone

I lost all of my contacts on my Blackberry 9930 phone while trying to sync it with the Blackberry Desktop software since I upgrade from Mobile me to ICloud on my Mac book.  It seems that the Desktop Software can't recognise ICloud contacts/Groups and my calendar will now not sync either.  My husband has a Mac Pro and a Blackberry and is having the same problems.
I some how have two (2) icloud accounts.  How can I delete one???  Please help!

You can't actually delete an iCloud account but you can remove it by signing out at System Preferences>iCloud if it is the promary account, or in Mail, Contacts & Calendars if the secondary, and then juste ignore it.
The Blackeberry can only sync with data held under 'On My Mac'. iCloud can only sync with data under 'iCloud'.
When you set up iCloud your calendars and contacts were moved to the iCloud server. If you want to use Blackberry you will have to move them back to 'On My Mac' and not sync with iCloud: it's one or the other.
To move calendars, follow the second set of numbered instructions here:
    http://www.wilmut.webspace.virginmedia.com/notes/icloudmovecalendars.html
To move contacts, File>Export as vCard when you have selected all your contacts, then delete the contacts under iCloud, make 'On My Mac' the default and reimport the vCard.
