I also have multiple ip addresses on my machine. When I login into the admin server, it always thinks it's one of the secondary ip addresses, which aren't granted access rights.
For example, if I go to configure a different port number for the admin server, it won't let me, because it thinks I am on one of the ip addresses which aren't allowed to access it.

BobIn your PC, you accessed to your Google Mail account using your browser. In Mac, the process is the same, but as your Mac is new, first you have to log in Google with your Google account.
If you want, instead of having to open Safari every time you want to check mail, you can use the Mail application included in OS X. Open System Preferences > Mail, Contacts and Calendars, and add all your mail accounts. They will be automatically set up to be used in Mail, so just open the app.
Then, after opening Mail, the process of deleting more than one mail is as simple as choosing the ones you want to delete pressing the Command key, and then, press the trash button in the toolbar -

I have two .mac addresses; how does this work in iCloud?
This is not about consolidating Apple ID's... I think.
When I got my first .mac address, I thought I picked a good one at the time. Later on, due to the peculiar spelling, I opted for an additonal (paid) address which I use every day. Now the first one (which is an Apple ID) contains my calendars, contacts, etc. I never use the email portion of it, again because of challenging spelling. The second .mac address (also an Apple ID) is an email only account. This is the email account I use daily.
When I make the transition to iCloud, I intend to keep my original AppleID (from the pre-.mac days) as my iTunes store ID.
My question is, what happens with my two other accounts?
.mac #1 with the contacts and such would move to iCloud and sync everything there as it currently does with MobileMe. Since .mac #2 is an email only account, would I even need to bother moving it to iCloud (if that's even possible), or would I just keep using that as email only using the current mail settings on my iThingys and Mac? Does anyone know if .mac #2 will live on after MobileMe vanishes, or will I loose my daily and coveted .mac email at that time?
I'm sure Apple has a good reason for not allowing us to just consolidate everything in one place, but I know there are many out there with a similar situation to mine.
I've spent a good deal of time tonight searching the various threads and can't seem to find an answer to the two .mac email dilemma. My appologies if it's already been discussed.
To sum up, I have one Apple ID that I use for iTunes and intend to keep as such. I have two .mac addresses which are also Apple ID's; one that syncs with MobileMe and one that is email only. I would like to use iCloud to sync what is currently on MobileMe, AND continue to use the simpler email address that I've been using for years.
Am I screwed??

Now migrate the email-only account in the same way. On a Mac you can add it in System Preferences>Mail, Contacts & Calendars - it won't sync anything but will be added to the accounts in Mail where you can then use the email in the normal way.
I don't know what the equivalent process on an iOS device is; very likely you need to add it as an account in the Mail app. -
I have two email addresses on some of my address contact cards. How can I send emails to both addresses.. Now it will only send to one of them.

Does anyone have problems with sent messages not showing in their Mail? I have two sent folders when really I only want one. Any tips?
Not sure if this is a fix, but I tried sending myself a test email from only the Bcc field, and lo and behold it now shows the Bcc field in all sent item previews;
...maybe leaving the 'To' field blank on purpose forced Mail to show it.
Rebooted the Mail program, still there - rebooted the machine, still there. Hope this is still relevant and it works for you too - J. -
I have two faults! 1, an error comes up in Ps CC 2014 "could not apply the saved panel configuration, restring to default and my tools have disappeared completely and anything ive tried I cannot get them back not even the drop down menu in 'window' helps at all. And 2, Lr everytime I load it up it gives me the option to retry or switch to and it takes a while for me to even get anywhere with it I think it has something to do with the catalogs? I've been using these programs for a few years now on a Mac...no problem but when I use a PC when I'm away coz it's the (only) comp available these happen PC's are so useless! I can give a few suggestions on Photoshop CC 2014, but Lightroom is a separate forum and you should ask Lr questions there.
First close Photoshop.
Then start Photoshop by double-clicking on it's icon and very quickly after that, hold down the ctrl-alt-shift keys until you see the reset dialog. answer "Yes" to delete settings, and let Photoshop continue to load.
It's tricky to do and may take a few tries, but at least it should reset Photoshop CC 2014 to defaults.

I have two seperate iPhones on my cellular carrier, but since I unwisely used the same AppleID for both phones iTunes, the two different users end us seeing each other's apps and directories of phone numbers (when each is sync'd through the cloud).
How do I take one of the two phones and move it to a different Apple account?
ThanksTo move one of the phones to a different iCloud account (if that's what you want to do), go to Settings>iCloud and turn all synced data to Off. When prompted, choose to keep the data on your iPhone. After everything is off, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. This will delete the account from the phone but not from iCloud so the other phone will not be effected. Then set up a new iCloud account with a different Apple ID and turn iCloud syncing in Settings>iCloud back to On. When prompted, choose Merge. This will upload the data to the new iCloud account.
You will then have to go to icloud.com and sign into each iCloud account separately and delete any unwanted data that you don't want on the phone syncing with each account. -

Just cahnge the e-mail account asssociated with the account. There was no need to start another account.
You cannot delete and account, nor would you want to. All purchases made with an account will always be tied to that account. -

I recently bought two iMac quad core i5 processor speed 2.5 Ghz. Every time I use Air Drop and I send a file from one iMac to the other, a black curtain drops and I am asked to restart the computer!!! What can I do?
That's a kernel panic and indicates some sort of problem either with the computer's hardware or software. Visit The XLab FAQs and read the FAQ on diagnosing kernel panics. It would help to post the panic log: Mac OS X- How to log a kernel panic.
Meanwhile, try booting the computers into Safe Mode then restarting normally. If this is simply a disk repair or cache file problem then this may fix it.
You can also try creating a new admin account on each computer then booting into the new account. This would help determine if the problem is related to a bad file in the user accounts. -

It's simple... I want the Illustrator pen tool to ALWAYS make corner annchor points and NEVER smooth. Right now I have to convert every single one of them, or I have to do a work around every time I draw a line and make one of the handles disappear. Is there some simple setting out there that will just "make it so?"@
The video I am watching this guy is just dragging every line to make curves. And every anchor point is a corner. He is not switching back and forth between the pen and the anchor points tool, and he is not using the convert points tool. He draws a curved line and starts another straight line only to curve it with a click and a drag. It is super efficient, and I could save a world of time if I could figure out what he is doing.
