I have two IPOD touch. 1 I can use WI-Fi and the other I can not. What do I need to do....

I have a similar problem. When i upgrade the last os6 software the wifi box now is always in grey color and i cannot switched on to connect wifi. I have been trying different ways to solve this problems including a "reset all settings" and "reset network setting" but nothing happens.
Do you have any idea abt this problem which started on os6 upgrade.?

I have previously organized bookmarks many times but this behavior is new. Blank Library window has expected columns but all info is blank.

By "game center account", do you mean Apple ID?
If so, you can change it.
1. Tap settings and navigate to iTunes and App Stores
2. Tap "Apple ID" and then tap "Sign Out"
3. Log in with a different ID.

I have two Ipod's one of my Ipod's won't sync the library over to my Mac. So i'm stuck with the songs I bought from Itunes. And I can't find a way to put them over.

A year ago I bought an Imac to replace my broken Laptop. I have two Ipod touches. They both shared the same Library of CD and Itunes music. Until I synced the Ipod to my Itunes account on my Imac. And it wiped the CD songs from that Ipod, and just uploaded the Itunes songs. Uploading the songs Via CD isn't an option any more as I moved quite a bit, so CD's are all scratched like mad. I still have all the CD songs left on one Ipod, and when connected to Itunes I have access to the CD songs. But can't transfer them over to my Library. I'm too scared to Sync it incase I lose all my CD songs forever. Help

The music sync is one way - computer to ipod. The only exception is ituens purchases. The ipod is not a backup device.
Copy everything from the old computer or your backup copy of your old computer, to the new one.

You can not login into iTunes or the App Store using VPP credentials. You must purchase all apps/book/etc. from the VPP website. Then you can redeem the codes thru itunes/app store or import the codes thru apple configurator. (It will not affect any of the apps you already have but the id can only be used for VPP.)

So I had an iPod touch and everything with it is fine. I just bought a second one for my daughter...exactly the same as my iPod. This second one was bought used, but was reset completely before I plugged it into my computer. My problem is... my iTunes does not recognize the second touch as a device! I can't get it to sync, so I can't get any music or anything onto the device. How can I have two iPod touches on my computer? With the Nanos, you should have no problem lending them loaded with audiobooks from Librivox, etc.
As for the iPod Touches, I'm not sure the question is whether you should allow patrons to set up the device for personal accounts, but whether you can prevent them from doing so. Prepare to to a factory restore every time one is returned.

I admit I tunes always confused me, it is so hard to copy things back and forth from computer to device or vice versa. Most importantly my partner has given me a set of CD with audio books, legitimate CD's not burned copies, and I wish to play them on my i pod touch. I have donethis before with CD''s, however now I look i see all the songs and audio books from CD's have been removed from my device after synch with my itunes on my macbook??? and I can no longer cooy the new CDs on to there? i try put them in the library, and they show up but they are not in black printing like the other songs, they are a faded grey color. They play on the mac book in itunes, so i know they are THERE, they just wont go on my device??? What am I doing wrong and why did all my other ones turn to grey gaded text and go off my i pod.
Furthermore, i thank anyone who takes time to help me, it isnt your job, it is apple's job, but they want me to pay forty bucks for the priviledge of contacting them for help because my warranty expired !! I am a loyal apple customer, All my devices are apple and until now i have been happy and willing to pay more for a good product. But i tunes is ridiculous! The sort fields should generally be empty unless you've putting in custom values to sort solo artists by their surnames. You can apply common changes to thousands of tracks at once, just don't apply the wrong change because there is no undo.
It is a good idea to backup before undertaking large scale changes. See this backup tip for a suggested approach.

We have two Ipod Touches in the Home and two Ipads. Right now one of the Ipads has a separate user indentity. Can both Ipods be used to use the same library with different user ids's and different passwords.

We have two Ipod touches and two Ipads in our home. Right now both Ipods are using the same used id and password to access itunes and sync music. But recently both os us have downloaded the Ibooks segment to our Ipads and now the only way to sync the second Ipad for Ibooks is to use the same used id and password. But the problem is that with our two Ipads in the home, we established two separate used ids and passwords one for each. Is there a way for me to still use the second Ipod touch and the second Ipad with completely separate userids and passwords. In other words to share the music library I have accumulated and yet to sign in each with our separate identities. That way the Ipads can sync and the Ipod touches can sync. Is this possible.

This is to avoid piracy. What could happen is, people could buy music, and give it away for free online. Usually it is then you buy a complete album off iTunes that it will only be available on one device. It is tied to that account, and the device must be registered to that account to listen to it.
