If you use the same Apple ID for iCloud on each device, yes. However, you can use the same Apple ID for iTunes content on each device, but different Apple ID's for iCloud, iMessage, FaceTime, etc., on each device. That way, you can have whatever iTunes content you want on each phone, but keep all of the other data separate. You can create another Apple ID here:

I don't see your screenshot but I assume you're starting with something like this, i.e., the compilation split into multiple albums:
If you select all the items that you want to be in a single album, right-click > Get Info you'll see this:
As you say, in iTunes 12 you don't see a field to enter a distinct Album Artist value. You can, however, address this by clicking the Add Field button and selecting Album Artist:
That makes the field available in the metadata dialog so that you can enter the required value:
You can also show the pre-iTunes 12 version of the dialog by holding the SHIFT key when selecting Get Info - this allows you to enter the Album Artist directly:

How can I get the songs from my iPod on to my new iTunes library?!! Help!!

So I've looked on all the support pages but I've got a feeling there is nothing that can be done with this, hopefully someone can help!
We moved to the US and while our computer was being sent over it got water damaged so I lost all of my itunes library. And I didnt back it up properly. So I want to know if there is anyway to transfer all the songs from my ipod onto our new itunes library, or if i can somehow get my ipod songs on to disc and then import them?? Connect your iPod to your computer. If it is set to update automatically you'll get a message that it is linked to a different library and asking if you want to link to this one and replace all your songs etc, press "Cancel". Pressing "Erase and Sync" will irretrievably remove all the songs from your iPod. Whichever of these retrieval methods you choose, keep your iPod in manual mode until you have reloaded your iTunes and you are happy with your playlists etc then it will be safe to return it auto-sync. I would also advise that you get yourself an external hard drive and back your stuff up, relying on an iPod as your sole backup is not a good idea and external drives are comparatively inexpensive these days, you can get loads of storage for a reasonable outlay.

This question is for my Mom as she has she messed up her iTunes and is missing thousands of songs. She did not back them up to an external drive. She does, however, still have her iPod with all of her songs organized correctly.
I was able to get the songs from her iPod back to her iTunes; however, some of the albums are splitting into multiples albums (based on whether or not there are multiple artists on the track and/or album). Is there a way to fix this? If so, how? If not, is there a way to bring the iPod to an apple store and have them upload the songs directly from her iPod to iTunes match and then download from the cloud so there aren't syncing issues?

Save all the photos from your Droid into a folder on your computer.
Connect your device to your computer. On iTunes left Pane, select iPhone under 'Devices'; then on the right Pane, select PHOTO tab. Make sure Sync Photo box is checked, and "from" box selected the folder that has Droid's photos. Then click the SYNC or APPLY button on the lower right window.

TS1389 Hi, I am Natalie Prince and I opened my Itunes account in 2006 when I got my Ipod. I purchased lots of music. Over the years I haved changed computers and phones. I now have an HTC One and I want all the songs from my old account on it.

I think I had an old itunes id. When I go to Itunes on my program list all of my music comes up, there are probably a hundred or two songs. But it never let me burn them to anything other than my Ipod. I changed my password so now when I pull up my account there is no music. Can anyone tell me how to find my old account and then copy that music to my HTC One.?

Media is not burned to iDevices. Burning an iDevice would destroy it.

What does this have to do with iTunes?
One does not pull up an account to access their media, they simply launch iTunes.
Changing a password has nothing to do with accessing the media on the computer when one launches iTunes.
What is the actual issue that is occurring?

Just transfer them from iTunes.
If they are not in iTunes. connect the iPod, then File > Devices > Transfer purchases.
Then connect the iPhone and sync these songs.
