My skype account has two numbers and I want to add one more, how do I allow answering of them separately?

Unfortunately, Skype does not provide a facility to do this. While a Skype account's incoming calls, whether to the Skype account itself or a Skype Number, can be forwarded to multiple mobile or land line numbers, each Skype Number purchased for an account is considered affiliated with that account and cannot be forwarded separately.
The work-around people use is to create a new account for each Skype Number needed; that way call forwarding and caller ID can be differentiated between the numbers.
The thing to be mindful of in doing this, however, is to use different payment methods, otherwise the payment methods and accounts may be trapped inadvertently by Skype's anti-fraud filters. More details about this here:

Welcome to the Apple community.
Ideally you should each have your own iCloud account, providing you with your own contacts, calendars etc, not doing so will result in exactly what you have experienced. The contacts have likely been lost due to the options you have chosen at the login stage on each device.
Unless you have the missing contacts in a backup file, they won't be recoverable unfortunately. You can add them manually to the contracts that already exist and continue to share the iCloud account if you wish, but I suggest that you each have your own iCloud account.
Note, you can each have your own iCloud account, but continue to share an iTunes account for purchases of apps, books, music, TV shows etc etc. -

You need a unique AppleID for each iCloud account. So grab some free gmail, hotmail, aol, yahoo or whatever email addresses to make five new AppleIDs. Now, everybody make an iCloud account for themselves, and keep the existing shared AppleID and password just for use in the iTunes and App Stores. You can also each use your own unique AppleIDs to make iMessage accounts and keep those separate as well.

Over time, I have two iPhones, uand two iPads under one email account. When I download an app on one cell phone, it shows up on my other one also. How can I totally remove one iPhone and one iPad (my wife's) and place them on their own email account without losing certain apps and data I want to remain?
Settings > iTunes & App Store > Automatic Downloads on each device.
Turn Apps and anything else you don't want automatically downloaded on each device when another device with the shared Apple ID makes a download from the iTunes Store.
Creating a new Apple ID for another iOS device that is currently sharing the same Apple ID will not remove the apps that were downloaded with the shared Apple ID.
All apps include DRM protection that is tied to the Apple ID that was used to download the apps. When there is an app update that was downloaded with the shared Apple ID, that Apple ID and password must be used to download the update. -

I sync three different iDevices with one iTunes account/iTunes library on my Mac. You can select the exact content that you want to sync to each device by customizing the sync settings for each device.
If you want to sync the iPad with another iTunes account or iTunes library at a later date - you will lose all of the content on the iPad from the old iTunes account. You can only sync with one iTunes library at a time and if you consider the iTunes account to be what is in your iTunes library - meaning content that you bought with one particular Apple ID - then you can only sync one account at a time as stated.
Perhaps if you defined or explained exactly what you mean by iTunes account, this could be clarified a little more. -

You can but it's usually not recommended. If you do any synced data will be merged to the same iCloud account. For example if you both sync your contacts and calendars with the same iCloud account you will see each others contacts and calendar events on your phones. Also, you can share an Apple ID (account) for iTunes store purchasing and still have separate iCloud accounts. I have two iphones and three macbook pros. Instead of using my ical server to sync my calendar I am now using icloud to sync the calendars. Since I implemented this the stocks on each phone which were different are now same when the phone syncs. How do I break the syncing between the iphone stock applications?

Yes, you can sync as many devices as you want to the same iTunes account, there is no limit. You can have the same content on each device or different content, the choice is yours. iTunes will keep everything straight, by device, including separate backups.

i currently have my iphone synced with my itunes account, i have just bought a ipod and want it to share the same itunes account, library etc, how do i do this without wiping it off my phone when ading the new ipod ??
This won't be a problem, iTunes will see the new device as a separate device, it will have its own settings under iTunes, you can set it up to sync the same content or different content to the first device, it will have no effect on how the first device syncs with iTunes.

sure, as long as you don't mind sharing information - like contacts calendars and some other stuff. There is no limit as far as I know to amount of Apple devices used with same icloud account.

Two devices on one iCloud account - how to separate?
Our family has two iPhones, one a 3 and one a 4s. We just added the 3 to the iTunes account when we got it, it wasn't really a problem that our contacts were synced or new app downloads were until today. I (on the 4s) downloaded a new software update - iOs 6.1.3, and after it had downloaded it was doing the installation questions and showed both of the numbers attached to the iCloud account, I just clicked continue continue etc (whoops). And now I'm receiving the texts that are going to the iPhone 3, so if the iPhone 4 texts the iPhone 3, the iPhone 3 receieves the message like normal, and it send normally on the iPhone 4 but then it also "receives" it on the 4 on a new thread - as if another phone has sent it. Basically I think i've accidently set my iPhone 4 to use both numbers. How can I change this? Not desperate to be receiving all the texts that the iPhone 3 is supposed to be getting!
Also, with regard to setting up a new iCloud account for the iPhone 3 (this is more practical since I have had the iPhone 4 for longer and therefore have more stuff on it), would it be best to take it into an apple shop, in the hope they would be able to back up the stuff that is on her phone (ie contacts and pictures that she can't afford to lose) and then create a new account and then put everything back onto the phone? Or would the phone keep the contacts/photos if there isn't an iCloud attached to it? Could we do this from the computer that her iPhone 3 is synced to?

Thanks!The reason you are receiving each other's text messages is because you are both using the same Apple ID for iMessage. To prevent this you need to use different IDs. (Note: you can still share the same ID for iTunes.) On one of the phones, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with a separate ID.
To migrate your 3GS to a new iCloud account, start by saving any photo stream photos that you want to keep on the phone to your camera roll. To do this, open the my photo stream album, tap Edit, tap the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll. Next, if you have any notes that you are syncing with iCloud that you want to keep, you'll need to email these to yourself so they can be recreated after moving to the new account.
Once this is done, go to Settings>iCloud, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. (This will only delete the account from this phone, not from iCloud. The phone that will be keeping the account will not be effected by this.) When prompted about what to do with the iCloud data, choose Keep On My iPhone. Next, sign back in with a different Apple ID to create the new account, turn iCloud data syncing preferences and when prompted about merging with iCloud, choose Merge. This will upload the data to the new account.
Finally, if you have merged data in the two accounts that you want to separate you will have to go to icloud.com from your computer, sign into each iCloud account separately and manually delete the data you don't want from each account. -
