I have two problems...
First I can't seem to seperate my audio files from the video files. So for example when I want to delete the audio of a certain video in the timeline, all that I can do is delete both the video and audio... and can't manipulate them seperately...
Second when I try to send a video from the timeline to Motion it tells me "Error: Wrong Type." Any ideas what that could mean?

If you captured your audio and video to the same files, then you can not delete the audio media and leave the video media.
But if you're just talking about clips in your timeline...
You could LOCK all your video tracks, then select all the audio clips and delete them.
Or press Shift-L to toggle the "Linked Selection" command, now video linked to audio won't get selected when you click the audio in the timeline.

In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion: Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless. -

I create a project w/iMovie and I have two problems: When I try to finalize the project iMovie crashes; when I share to DVD sometimes it crashes also; if I can successfully send it to DVD and then burn a DVD there are wavy lines on the screen. I'm uising photos in my project, not video. Help!
You can split a project in two by doing this.
1) Go to the Project Library View.
2) Select your project, and click FILE/DUPLICATE PROJECT. Give it a name like "your project name - part 1".
3) Do this again. This time name it "your project name - part 2"
4) Open Part 1 for editing. Delete everything in the second half.
5) Open Part 1 for editing. Delete everything in the first half of the project.
At the end you should have your original project, plus the same project in two parts. -

Regarding #2, the time required to clear Firefox's disk cache is affected by the size of its contents, but you might get better results clearing your cache from within Firefox. There are two places you can do this:
(1) Options dialog
"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
(2) History menu, either:
* "3-bar" menu button > History > Clear Recent History
* (menu bar) History > Clear Recent History...
If the Details section is not expanded, click Details. Then uncheck all the categories other than cache, and adjust the drop-down control at the top to the desired time range.
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes. -

Actually, I have three problems. I had to turn off iCloud because every time I turn it on, it wipes out all my contacts. Thankfully they're on my macbook and I was able to text them back to the phone. Honestly, this is making me batty. All I want to do is preserve my information before the new phone comes in. I did do a back-up to iTunes, but will that bring all the problems over to the new phone?!?
First? I tried to edit a contact today. No edit button. Then I thought, I'll just add her. No plus sign.
Last but not least? I have a LOT of memory being taken up on my 16 G 4s with videos that iTunes and iPhoto refuse to see. I can't even figure out how to see the folder on my iPhone when it's plugged in.

I have two problems using elements 11
When I try to put two images into a "new file" both images are in front of the file. I can't drag them into the file. I have the correct sizing. I did this with no problem in elements 3.
I tried to use the type tool. No matter what I try all i get is a straight line . NolettersDear 99jonWonderful-that response answers all the difficulties that I have struggled with. (Maybe the solution was considered too obvious to be in my copy of Nick Vandome's Elements 11 In Easy Steps!)

If you are using more than the healing brush e.g. adding text or using adjustment layers; your layers will be saved for future editing.
PSD is also a lossless format. You can treat it as you master copy containg the combined adjustments made with the raw sliders and any further adjustments made in expert mode. You can use the master to make a jpeg at any time. Simply open and do File >> Save As again. Or select a few PSD thumbnails in the Organizer and use File >> Export As New.

I have two problems. One with LTE and another with iCloud terms and conditions.
I haven't had some of the bigger problems with the 6 as some. But I am having two issues that are getting annoying. One is a pop up every 5-10 minutes that says I cannot use icloud without accepting terms and conditions. However it won't let me accept any. The other is lte is not working on my phone, but is fine with my husbands. Any ideas? Thanks!

My second problem is that I want to be able to close the entire program if the user exits out of either dialog without performing an action (clicking on the X button). You can give the classes that hold the dialog a state, say exitOK, and initialize it to false. If the proper buttons were pressed you would change exitOK to true. After updating OSX Mavericks, I have two problems:
1) my mobile broadband software / dongle does not work (I use a Huawei E169 HSDPA USB stick).
2) my network printer does not work (I use a Canon C5030i).
On both I have tried to reinstall the latest driver software available, and still it does not help. I am confused as this is obviously related to the upgrade, but dont know if the solution should come from Apple or the two other vendors concerned...
AlexThe other two vendors need to update their drivers. However, Canon's update will likely come through Apple in the form of a printer update.
You might try removing the printer and re-adding it to the Print & Scan system pref. Sometimes that will make them work after updates or upgrades. -
I Have Two Problems with the Fingerprint Scanner
Hey guys, I want to slide to unlock my iPhone, but I want to authorize app purchases via fingerprint. But it seems I'm forced to have a passcode turned on in order to have touch ID active for itunes purchases. This means I have to either unlock my phone with a passcode or fingerprint and I don't want to do this? Why can't I have one without the other?
Second problem, the scanner seesm to be flat out broken on a software level. I can record my fingerprints and use them to unlock the phone, but when making purchases on itunes/app-store it prompts me to enter my password. Yes, I've got the toggle set to active, I've tried using my fingerprint when promted for my password and I've updated to the latest software.

I cant be positive but I think this started when my iPhone did an automatic software update. I couldn't get any WiFi connection because when I go to turn it back on the iPhone wont let me and Greys out my WiFi on/off button.
But also I think something happened to my iCloud connect as well because next to my iCloud Drive under "Settings" it has that spinning symbol that usually denotes waiting for something to finish downloading. But this time it never stopped! Its been spinning saying "iCloud is Upgrading" for 2 weeks now! I have tried the on/off iPhone restart or reset, and I've even put my iPhone into "Recovery Mode" as a last resort. but when iTunes was finished "Restoring" it, nothing had changed; Still Greyed out WiFi button and iCloud is still "Upgrading"! And this statement -

return true;returning the result TRUE again when both fields are null. If you see closely basically is not validating becoz it returning true whatever the input is.
I do not know what you want to use the second statement when you have else statement at the end. It will return false if one or both fields are null unless you want to validate either text field.

I can't open any links from my Mail app. When I tap on links in my email it doesn't open the link via Safari. In fact, it doesn't act as it did before.Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds). -

N97 Email wizard starts every time I switch it on!
