Flash is not available for iOS. Use the Facebook app or you might try on of the alternate browsers such as iSwifter or Puffin.

  • I have tried to update flash player and when I put in my password, it is rejected.  I have recently updated my email address and changed my password, but adobe will not accept.  Can I get help, please, to update flash player?

I have tried to update flash player and when I put in my password, it is rejected.  I have changed my email and password and have so informed adobe, but I am still unable to install flash player update.  How can I update adobe flash?

This password prompt is presented by your operating system, and is intended to keep you from accidentally installing software.
If this is your personal machine and you don't need a password to log into the computer when it first starts up, you can probably leave the password blank and click OK to get past this prompt.  If this is your personal machine and your normal password isn't working, check to make sure that CAPS LOCK is off, and type the password carefully.
If this is your work machine and it's asking for an Administrator password, well, you'll need to have a conversation with your friendly IT person.

I have created a slide show with pictures and music in Iphoto and when I try export it I get Error You do not have sufficient permission for this operation.  Try to export to an external HD attached, all help would be gratefully received

Have you ever successfully saved anything to that external drive? My first two thoughts are that the drive isn't formatted for the Mac or that you don't have rights to save to the drive.

If the previous owner bought the apps then they would have to be updated using his/her account.  The apps are not yours.  You would need to buy your own.

  • HT1766 I have an IPAD 2 and when I awoke it I received an error message; "This IPad hasn't been backed up for 3 weeks." It goes on to tell me when backups occur but it doesn't back up automatically. How can I get rid of this message and use my IPad?

I have an IPad 2 and when I woke it up it gave me an error message on the desktop: "iCloud backup: This IPad hasn't been backed up in 3 weeks. Backups happen when this IPad is plugged in, locked, and connected to Wi-Fi." I have done all of these and it still doesn't allow me to get rid of the error message. I even connected the IPad to the computer and attempted to back it up using the Web but it still doesn't get rid of the message. Help!

Reset your iPad to clear that condition:
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).

  • I uninstalled flash player and can't reinstall

I was having issues playing streaming videos, and decided to uninstall and reinstall flash player. I am running XP SP3, so I used the add/remove programs and uninstalled it. Now I cannot re-install. I have gone to the adobe site (http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/) and selected to install the player via Firefox, but it failed and suggested manual installation. Selecting that link puts me on the adobe site, but selecting the download button sends me to an advertising page for other adobe products and no download occurs. I ran internet explorer to see if I could download the file and Firefox recognize it, but while it shows "Adobe Flash Player 11 ActiveX" in the installed program list, Firefox knows no difference. Any suggestions?

Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.

  • I having problems saying i need to upgrade my flash player and when i do nothing happens

I cant seem to get flash player to work. I just got a new macbook pro a couple days ago and some videos and programs dont work. It say "missing plu in" the ill click on a link and get directed to adobe flash. I downloaded it but still nothing works.

You downloaded it, but did you actually properly install it? Go to your Downloads folder, locate the Flash file (which will be called something.dmg), double-click to open. It should open a new window - if not, check for a new "Install Flash" image on your Desktop. DOuble-click that to open, locate the installer inside it and double-click one more time. You should get a dark window with a prompt to close all browsers if they're open; you should be asked if you want Adobe to install updates automatically (you should choose this), and then proceed with the update. You'll also be asked for your Mac's admin login and password. Once that's all done, re-open Safari and check back with the sites that weren't working earlier.

When I go to different sites the pictures that normally load with a flash player are not loading. The show broken picture signs or nothing at all. What do I do to make firefox more compatible?

  • Have a flash player problem when visiting my website

I'm sorry, I did not know where to ask this question, so I tried my luck here. Anyhow, me and my fiance own this website about prom dresses where we find some dresses around the web and write reviews about them. But some of our friends told us we have some kind of weird flash problem on our webpage. Perhaps, some of you more knowledgable guys can take a look and see if they are right? I've tried visiting my website from a number of computers and mobile phones, but never encountered any kind of problem. But I'm not very into technology and would like you advice very much.
Here is the website in question: [sketchy link removed] and here is the web page they have said they had flash player issues: [sketchy link removed]
    Thanks,

Unfortunately, technical forums are popular targets for http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Watering_Hole attacks, and I'm not going to risk it to go debug your website for you.  I wish that we lived in a world where we could keep our doors unlocked, but there you go.
There's excellent documentation available for how to embed Flash content on your website, and we really recommend that you use SwfObject (below):
swfobject - SWFObject is an easy-to-use and standards-friendly method to embed Flash content, which utilizes one small…
A cursory Google search for "embedding Flash" should turn up a number of tutorials that will help you out.

  • How do i uninstall flash player and get lightspark to take its place?

how do i uninstall flashplayer and get lightspaerk to take its place?

From your list of plugins, it sounded as if LightSpark is already installed. Now we just need to disable the old version of Flash plugin so it doesn’t conflict with that.
What Linux distro are you using? Depending on that, the uninstallation process differs. Try one of the steps outlined on this website: http://www.ehow.com/how_6827457_uninstall-flash-player-linux.html

  • Have installed Flash player millions of times but still can't get BBC IPlayer (not for months)

Why can't I get BBC I Player for the last few months.  It always asks me to install the Flash player which I have done millions of times - to no avail.  This is hugely annoying

    What OS?
    What browser?

  • When downloading an app I keep getting error 1004?w

Why do I get error 1004 when downloading an apple store app?

You can read about it here.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3694#error1004
I copied this from a thread the other day and this poster claimed that this worked for him...
This actually has a very simple fix, that has worked all the times I have seen it.   Simple go to Settings > Safari >  Then reset the cookies, Reset the Cache, and Reset the History.  Now turn the iPad off and then on again.  It should work fine now.
