I have updated Firefox on my computer and my Zotero library disappeared. Is it recoverable through Firefox?
I have used Zotero for some time from my computer at home. My library usually appeared at the bottom of Firefox screen. I have recently updated Firefox and as the site recommended cleaned it. The letter Z in my tool bar disappeared. I also had another Zotero library that I used from my computer at work with a separate account. I have never accessed the Zotero site from my home computer. When I finished all the cleaning and restored Zotero to my tool bar and then opened the box at the bottom, the box was empty and my library was gone. I clicked the sync and the library from my office computer appeared but my library from the home computer is missing. I want to restore the library from my home computer and make it my main library. How do I do it? Does anyone have any idea?
When you say it was recommended that you clean Firefox, do you think you used the Reset feature?
One way to confirm that is to check your desktop for a folder named Old Firefox Data. Inside will be one or more semi-randomly-named folders. If you find that, your old Zotero data probably is in there, according to this article: https://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data
Moving that data SAFELY to your current Firefox profile involves several steps, so if you find the old folder, please post back for further guidance.

If your iTunes library is on an external hard drive, but iTunes is not recognizing the library, first make sure the right library is selected.
You can use these steps to make sure iTunes is opening the library on your external drive:
If iTunes is running, quit iTunes.
If you're using Windows, hold down the Shift key and from the Start menu, choose All Programs > iTunes > iTunes.
If you're using a Mac, open iTunes and immediately hold down the Option key.
You should see one of these screens:
Pick Choose Library and locate the library on your external hard drive.

If the right library is selected, but you do not see your songs, try re-creating the library using the instructions found here:

When I close Firefox and then come back to it later a box comes up that says it's already running. It says to close Firefox first but when I hit close nothing happens and the box comes up again. I have to shut down my computer and restart to get into Firefox again. If I can't get this fixed I will start using someone else. Someone told me a way to close Firefox but I forgot what they said.

You don't need to restart your computer to open Firefox again: you just need to close it manually through your application manager (CTRL+SHIFT+ESC in Processes tab). Anyway, hopefully this support article is what you need:

What's probably happening is that you may be having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not coming from one of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] and select ''Disable all add-ons''. If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode, and enable them one at a time until you find the source of the problem. Just bought a new iphone 5, i have an old imac computer OSX 10.5.8 and itune version 10 (updated at great cost last year for iphone4) it dosen't let me restore data... any chance of update or do i have to thow away my computer (and never by Mac again?)
You an use your iPhone without connecting it to a computer.
But the product description for the iPhone clearly states that in order to sync with a Mac you must have OSX 10.6.8 or later. That version of the OSX is usually called Snow Leopard. There are two mo recent versions of OSX. OSX 10.7.x (Lion) and OSX 10.8.x (Mountain Lion).
If you can upgrade your computer to at least Snow Leopard I suggest you do so. -

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

I am trying to update ipod touch from ios 4.3.2 to ios 6.1.3. I have it connected to my computer, and the summary in itunes indicates the update is available. However, when I click "update", it opens Windows Explorer and waits for a file name to open.
I am not at that computer now, but I did check via windows update & with the check updates menu choice in the itunes program - neither indicated a newer version of itunes is available. (it is a vista computer).
The itunes software on the computer displays my ipod & the current ios (4.3.2), and indicates a newer ios is available (6.1.3). When I choose "update", I am taken to Windows Exploer and prompted to choose a file to open. it is as if the "update" button has the incorrect code attached to it.
The ipod is working, but there are several app I would like to install, but I can't with the current ooperating system. -

YOur phone is in recovery mode, any data that was on there is already gone, you will have to restore your phone and use whatever backup you to restore to.

Forgotten Restrictions Passcode Help
You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.

Are you sure that's what the error message says? Can you provide a screenshot of it?
If it says you don't have enough privileges, it's because you are on a guest-style account. Contact your system administrator for support on that, or change into an administrator account to install Firefox. -

Hi, sill no joy with my sound on my iPad .the sound only works on one app ( Annie ) and the ring volume and it works for about 5 seconds after I switch it on . Was talking to apple and they said the reset my iPad and this will fix it .done this and it is still not working only with earphone and Annie. I just recently updated my Apple TV and iTunes, and now every time I turn on my Apple TV, I have to go to my computer and close and reopen Itunes several times before my Photos share to the Apple TV. Is there a fix for this??

Since I upgraded my iPad with iOS 5 I cannot download a movie or tv programme straight to the iPad. I have to load to my computer and the sync.
Have you tried resetting your iPad, or uninstalling your iTunes account and reinstalling it? Also you could upgrade to ios 5.1 and see if that works.

According to your user agent string you are not using the latest version of Firefox. It shows you have version 4.0, the latest version is 4.0.1
In the Help menu select "About Firefox", this should check for updates and then let you install the latest version.
If that does not work, try downloading the latest version from http://www.mozilla.com/ then installing it over your current version.
