Hi, sill no joy with my sound on my iPad .the sound only works on one app ( Annie ) and the ring volume and it works for about 5 seconds after I switch it on . Was talking to apple and they said the reset my iPad and this will fix it .done this and it is still not working only with earphone and Annie. What next ?As they said this is unheard of as it was the upgrade to iso6 that caused this problem . Help

If you have the Download .dmg you could try to reinstall it.
The computer will need a restart afterwards.
At this point the app still may not work properly but you should be able to access the Uninstall option in the Messages menu to get back to iChat.
The Messages Download was removed yesterday.

Is there a good fix for iTunes crashing on start up on the itunes store for Windows 8.1 tried the ones on here bust still get display driver problems

I recently purchased a new PC and it came with Windows 8.1 and tried to install itunes as i had it installed on windows Vista and XP but for some reason now on windows 8.1 every time I open itunes is takes me to the take a tour page of the new itunes and when i try to go to the itunes store it allows me to brows for like 30 seconds before i get the Error Display Driver.

What is your exact brand/model graphics adapter (ATI or nVidia or ???)

Have you gone to the vendor web site to check for a newer driver?
For Windows, do NOT rely on Windows Update to have current driver information

Do you have dual graphics adapters?

Hi garyd11, has Adobe Reader ever run correctly on your PC, in other words, is this a new problem? Actually, regardless of your answer, if Adobe Reader has crashed, I suspect that restarting Windows might help.

Firefox continually hangs even after trying the solutions listed here, and in other sites, and I can't find any common link to pinpoint what is causing it.

I love Firefox but I may have no choice but to try Chrome instead. Over the past couple of weeks the version of Firefox I have installed on my Lenovo Edge 15 latop (which is the most current version of Firefoxc), hangs several times an hour, for approx a minute each time. Problem started out of the blue a few days ago. When I go to a page with a PDF file, it says "Plugin is vulnerable... click to start anyway" (paraphrased). When I look in Add-Ons, it has the following line about the Acrobat Reader "adobe acrobat is known to be vulnerable and should be updated 10.1.4.38". That is the latest version available.

I can't get the new flash update... FF says i need a plugin to get the download, and when i get it (gp.xpi), i can't install it. what should I do?

I've followed the instructions on the flash website, but i can't even get the flash file to download. the file that i get is supposed to be asociated with FF, that's why im contacting you guys. is there other way i can manually allow adobe to install flash without using their website directly?

I had that problem myself and was forced to download the installer for "other browsers" using Internet Explorer at http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/ . After I did that it installed correctly. You can also try downloading the FULL installers for flash at http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html . Just make sure that all browser windows are closed before you run either of these.
