I have updated my Apple ID and password. My iPad however will not let me update the email. Why ?
Having updated my Apple ID and password I find I am unable to update the iCloud and Apple ID on the iPad. Why is this not possible ?
What happens when you try ? If you've updated the primary email address on your account then log out of your account by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in with the updated version, and similarly for iCloud : Settings > iCloud > Delete Account and log back in with the updated version.

I have a Netgear NAS which uses Stora software. Mavericks will not let me install the software as it is not from an approved developer. Is there any way around this?
There is, but why do you need the s/w installed? The NAS should have a web admin interface, accessible via ip address (http://<ip address>) which should allow all the needed configuration that is required for it to work with machines running os x.
Try to install as little s/w as you need to do something in Mavericks or any OS as it is usually the cause of future issues or problems.
If you're intent on installing the s/w, go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General and If you have tried to run it before, it should be listed there. You can then "un-block" it should you wish. -
I have one website that will not let me open the emails within in it?
I am on a dating website Christianmingle.com Up until 3 days ago this site worked fine? All other sites within my internet are working and opening fine. Just this site will not let me open the internet information and emails within this site?
After a couple of attempts I can get into the site. This is one problem that I cannot open this site like it is suppose to. Then when try to open information within the site it fills the work bar to about 90% then it just keeps working and nothing opens?
I have tried the cookies, pop-up blocker, called the site for help and called Xfinity? They can do nothing? Maybe you can help me it has to be something simple?

- The next standard thing to do is to download/install a new app but you cant 'do that.

I just got an ipad 3 and during set up it will not let me put the password in for my network
will not allow me to put in password to get on wireless network, during set up
Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network settings.
Then turn your iPad off, or set it to AIrplane Mode. Turn WiFi back on, and hopefully you'll find your network and be able to input the password. -
I have photos that come up with a big "!" that will not let me see the photo.

Make a temporary, backup copy of your library if you don't already have one (Control-click on the library and select Duplicate from the contextual menu) and apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Since only one option can be run at a time start with Option #3, followed by #4 and then #1 as needed.

Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

Try this. Press and hold both the home and power buttons 10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Release both buttons. Wait 15-20 seconds till your iPad starts on it's own.

I sent my sister an egift card. SHe did not recive it due to her settings. I have tried to resend it for several weeks, but ontinue to get a message stating that this function is unavailable that this time and to try again later. Is there anything I can do to resend this message??
You can manually copy and paste the code and email it to your sister that way.

If I have a new apple ID and password, do I lose all of my old apps if I sync to my new apple ID?
I'll ask my question differently. I have multiple devices and I sync them to my itunes account. For one of my devices, I gave it to a family member. I changed my itunes password and did not give it to the family member who has one of my devices. Will they be able to update applicable apps not having the new password?
Also, if that family member opens their own itunes account and purchase apps and sync the phone, will they lose all the apps that was purchased from my itunes account? -

Is this on your iPad or computer's iTunes ? If your iPad then tap on your id in Settigns > iTunes & App Store and log out of it and then log back in with the updated version of your account. If your computer's iTunes then you can sign out via the Store > Sign Out menu option and that will then change to Store > Sign In option

Since that, I am told, only when I try to buy something in iTunes Store, that my "session has expired". Where does this come from? What should I do to solve this problem ? I have created an Apple ID and password but keep getting the following message when I try to buy something through the itunes store "Enter another Apple ID"
I had been buying things ealier with another Apple ID that I set up for my husband. The first time I ran into this I went ahead and set up another account for my self but am still getting the same message. What do I need to do?you need to review the account and verify it, including payment method. If there's no option that states 'none' next to the creditcard options, you'll need to use a creditcard for this.

Go to Settings>Store (or iTunes and Appl Store) and sign out and sign back in. If problem go to Settings>iCloud and make sure you are signed into the new iCloud account. You may have to create a new iCloud account.

Sorry, not sure what you mean by remotely?
You can remove apps from your phone without being connected to anything if you have the phone in hand. Were you speaking about something else?
If not, then you just press on an app on the Home screen and hold it down until they all begin to wiggle. Apps that you can remove (non-Apple apps) have a little "x" in the top left-hand corner. Tap on that, and the app will be removed.
