I have updated my iPad and lost everything because my only option on iTunes was to update and restore. The update was very strange because I pressed install, I had enough space for the update and I agreed to the terms and conditions. My iPad turned to a black page with a picture of connecting to iTunes, I couldn't get it off my screen even when I plugged it into iTunes. to update and restore my iPad was my only option and if I plugged my iPad out my screen would still say plug into iTunes. I haven't backed up my iPad for a few months but I need the most recent stuff on my iPad. I need my iPad for school. How do I fix this? And can Apple do anything to get it back? I am stressing out so much and I really need answers and I need them quickly. (Sorry if I sound rude but I'm freaking out about this)

You should be able to see all your Purchased Music in your iTunes Account and you can download that Music to your iPhone during a Sync. First step look under Purchases in iTunes.

You didn't import all of your pics regularly? Particularly before an update?
They may very well be gone.
You can try restoring from backup.

try deleting your icloud account from your phone. you can also try disabling 3G.

I have a 30gb Video IPod. It fell out of my pocket onto concrete and the screen has gone white apart from a yellow/black splodge with blue patches all over the screen. My warrenty has run out so is there any way i can fix this myself or do i need to send it to apple? Theer isn't a scratch on the actual glass though...!

do you know of any where in san diego I can get a 20 GB 2004 4th generation ipod fixed? my son dropped his 2 wks after getting it,right before deployment (marine) now he's leaving again aaaaggghhhhhhh! and I need to fix it this weekend! the screen plasma's all funky ,and I think thats the major thing, but not sure. I also have cancer, low funds, so ANY help will be a blessing, I'm really at my wits end as to next step.

My Firefox updated about 2 hours ago. Now it crashes everytime I try to open it. Could someone please help me? I am now stuck on IE :(

My Firefox updated about two hours ago. When I tried to open it after the update, it crashed and so I chose to start a new session. Now it won't open and I get a message saying "Firefox has stopped working. Windows is checking for a solution to this problem... Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." Please help.

Have you tried closing the iTunes store app via the multitasking bar and seeing if it works when you re-open it
Have you tried closing the app via the taskbar ? (I assume that your iPad is on iOS 6, though the version that your tagline shows, 6.1.6, is not a version for iPads) From the home screen (i.e. not with iTunes store app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the iTunes app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't fix it then you could try a soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

When I click 'check to see if my add-ons are up to date' firefox shows that all my plugins are unknown. They all work fine, but I have no way of knowing which actually need to be updated or not outside of manually doing it, which I have been doing for some time. It's frustrating because it puts my computer at risk, as I can't easily see the status of all of my plugins at once as I should.
This has occurred through at least 10 updates of firefox and a couple reinstalls. I've been trying to ignore it, and I've googled for help but I haven't found a solution.

What usually happens is I open my app and then the game eventually loads. After some time,if the game has volume,it will make weird noises. ie.GTA 3
I get really annoyed and try to turn the app of by pressing the home button but it still doesn't quit. PLEASE HELP!!!

iphone 4 turned off and wont turn back on. It's battery was at 98-100% and was plugged into my computer via charging cable and was charging fine. There is nothing that anyone can do to cause the problem you have except to get the phone wet. If that happened then the phone probably needs to be replaced.
It will not show anything when you connect to the charger, but still leave it connected for 15 minutes, then hold both buttons.

You buy one and only one download.
It is your responsibility to move/copy/backup your music.
Certainly you did not update your ipod without making sure that you had transferred anything purchased on the ipod to your computer and included it in your regular backup copy of your computer.
