I have used homeshare on 3 computers that I no longer have. How do I delete them from my homeshare?
I have used homeshare on 4 other computers that I no longer have.
I am only allowed 5 homeshares.
Is there any way to remove the old computers so that I can homeshare with my new computers?
Thank you,
Goldenbear

TS2972 How do I deauthorize computers that I no longer have?
How do I deauthorize computers that I no longer have access to? It's been a long time since I first started using iTunes and didn't think to deauthorize a computer when we took it out of service, or it crashed and then we couldn't take it out of service if we wanted to. So, now that I have a new MacBook, I want to authorize it with my iTunes account and the only option to deuthorize a computer is "deauthorize all" - or deauthoize from the actual computer (which I no longer have due to it crashing, etc..)
So, part two of my question -- if I have to choose "deauthorize all" will it affect anything in my current libraries? I'm hoping I can just "deauthorize all" and then go to the specific computers I have now and reauthorize without losing any music, etc. Is that a correct assumption?
Thanks!AAandA wrote:

If you no longer have, or access to, the computer(s) you want to deauthorise,
Log in to iTunes, go to "view your account info" on the itunes store, deauthorise all five, (Please Note: this can only be done Once every 12 months) and then re-authorize your current Computer(s) one at a time.

I have a string of text sms and iMessages that I would like to save and then delete them from my phone, but gain access to them later if I need them. I prefer to have the string with the date/time stamp vs copying and pasting into a doc or text file. Is this possible?
Not unless you buy an app that accesses data from an iTunes backup. Check in the app store.

I have a jailbroked iphone, and it seems that it has some viruses how can I remove them from my iphone?
You have viruses because you jailbroke your phone, and now you're probably spreading them to other phones. Nice.
Jailbroken phones are generally bricked for good. Throw it away, it's junk. -
i have no messages in my phone but my storage is 90% full and in my usage it says i have 12MG in messages (saved) but i dont have any messages in my phone - where are they saved ? how can i delete them? please help
pamalushka54,
We want to make sure that we get your phone up and running. Can you look to see where you have the most stuff stored at. Settings>General>Usage>Storage.
This will tell you what exactly is using everything. Then you can delete things from there.

How do I deauthorise computers that I no longer have access to?
That's it really - when in iTunes you go Store>Deauthorise this computer I can only do this PC which I want to be the only authoried PC - before you could deauthorise all PCs?
Thanks,
DaveYou cannot yourself deauthorize a computer that's not working or to which you no longer have access. You can authorize a total of up to five systems, so it's probably not really important that you deauthorize other units now. Once you reach five total authorizations, a button will appear in your iTunes Store account that will allow you to deauthorize all your systems, so that would at that time recover any now-useless authorizations.
If for some reason you really feel you need to deauthorize other systems now, you can try contacting the iTunes Store customer support department through the form at the bottom of their Support page (select the category and subcategory closest to the issue you're reporting) and explaining the problem to them. They might be willing to clear your authorizations for you.

How do I do that?
Hi ,
To deactivate Acrobat from your machines ,you could simply uninstall the software from both the computer and it will automatically deactivate the software.
The second option to deactivate the product is to connect with the Adobe support .They could guide you on how to deactivate the software from your end or would do it from their end .
If you wish you could refer the following link to connect with them .
http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/service1.html
Please click the Blue "Still Need Help" button to connect to one of the Adobe executives .

I'm new to Mac book. Using Pages I have written 49 chapters of a novel. Can anyone tell me in simple terms how to put them into one document and have Pages number them? I am lost.
Hello, Lost! Yes you are a bit; try the Pages forum here; https://discussions.apple.com/community/iwork/pages
While I do use Pages, I don't know the answer to that one, but I'm sure you'll soon get help in the right forum. -
I recently downloaded the iCloud/iTunes Match.. both of which I still have no idea how to use.. my songs began automatically downloading somewhere on my iPhone.. there are alot of songs in my iTunes Library on my MacBook.. and I didnt want all of them to get downloaded to my iCloud/iPhone..how do I start over and choose what gets downloaded? Also, I have purchased several songs from iTunes Store that did not get downloaded to my purchased list.. for example: I purchased 2 Katy Perry Songs, only one was uploaded to my phone..why and how do i fix it? I've never owned an iPhone and I fear my phone is smarter than me.. Help.. How does all this stuff work?
Welcome to the Apple community.
When you subscribe to iTunes match, you cannot selectively choose tunes to add to it, it's either or nothing. When you then enable iTunes match on your iPhone, none of the tunes are downloaded to your phone, you simply get a list of everything that is available in your iTunes library and the ability to download them as and when you want. -
I have a "event" in my calendar that has no edit button, how do I delete it?
The event was populated in my iPhone 5 (to occur week after week) by accepting an e-mail invite. Unlike manual entries into the calendar, this one has no edit button when opened and I cannot seem to delete them, suggestions?
When you refer to your iPad's trash folder, you must mean a trash folder in your email account. The way to clear out this particular folder depends on your email provider.
Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars and click on your account provider's name. There you will likely find an Advanced button to click which will provide a category like "Remove After ..." [some period of time, after which your trash is discarded]. -

i have already authorized 5 other computers that I no longer have and now cannot sync and store my music etc. on my current computer. how can i unauthorize all other computers if I no longer have them?
Go to store on the menu bar. Select view my account. From there, go to manage devices. It will give you a list of all the computer that are authorized to use your account. This will allow you to choose which ones you want to delete.
