I have version 3.6.22 and it is not loading...shows "not responding"
It started Friday afternoon. I have never had this problem before, and I installed originally on 2/15/09. I have not updated to the current version because I do not feel there is the same flexibility offered regarding available add-ons.

It's possible that you are having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not caused by one (or more than one) of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] (don't forget to select ''Disable all add-ons'' when you start safe mode). If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode, and enable them one at a time until you find the source of the problem. I have version 3.6.16 and when I login to my hotmail account, and type the first letter of the email address, a drop down box appears with my hotmail address and I can choose it from that box with a click.

i have version 4.3.3 and am updating my iphone software. I am updating it on a computer that is not mine, as i only have an iPad. Can I do this without loosing my music, apps, photos, etc?
You do see the devices heading on the left sidebar? If you don't see the sidebar, go to View>Show sidebar in the iTunes menu and then check to see if the device appears.
If that isn't the problem, go through the troubleshooting steps. It could be the Apple Mobile Device Service issue.

Open the Mac App Store and try purchasing Mountain Lion 10.8. If you get told it's incompatible, choose About this Mac from the Apple menu, check if the computer has at least a Core 2 Duo(not Core Duo) or better CPU with at least 2GB of RAM, and if it does, phone the online Apple Store and order a download code for Lion 10.7.

I have an IPhone4 and is updated with version 6.1.3 and I am not able to connect with face time calls. I have checked the date ant time. I used to be able to use face time with no problem. Since the late os upgrace I have not been able to connect with face time.

My back and forward buttons do not work also the refresh button does not work, I have reloaded the latest version of fire fox and that did not help. All of navigation tool bar worked until I updated Fire Fox, now if I click on a link in yahoo, for instance, I can not get back to my yahoo home page without reloading Fire Fox. HELP please.

I have version 4.1.2 and have been doing great rercording for several years. I use only real instruments. This week I added "acoustic guitar echoes" to my classical guitar, and that enabled the "flanger" setting which is what I wanted. Mysteriously, every time I burn a test CD, that lead guitar track is very weak, even though the recording level is quite high. Nothing I have done has helped the mix. Does anyone know why this is happening and what I can do to circumvent it? I've tried burning straight from GB to a CD and also via Itunes; it doesn't make any difference. Thanks.
P.S. I usually record my classical guitar on the "vocal" and "live performance" settings, using my Blue YETI mic, set on stereo. I get great recordings which always transfer perfectly to my CDs. I'm puzzled why adding the acoustic guitar echoes would be failing in the burn process. Hope this clarifies.

I have version 10.0.3 and have a problem getting my project shared. The shared option is always ghosted when I try to send it to iDVD.
Do you need to remain in 10.0.3? Do you have a backup of the application? You may need to reinstall it.

The hardware on the 2G does not support an iOS version higher than 4.2.1. If you want apps that require a higher version you will need to get a newer model iPod.

I've lost half of my icons such as calculator, fonts, chess, automator,ichat,ical it it saying that you can use this version with the OSX. You have version 4.04. And, there is no way to update them. What do you do?
If I'm understanding you correctly, those apps have stopped working and you are getting a message saying that they won't work with this version of Mac OS X when you try to open them. Is that right? If so, have you moved those apps out of their original locations? That is a bad idea, as it prevents them from being properly updated. If this is what has happened, what version of the system were you running before they stopped working, and what version are you running now, after installing the update that has made them stop working?

Connect it to your syncing PC and update using iTunes on the PC. The OTA (over the air & under Settings>General>Software Update) update was introduced with iOS 5.

It will not respond to any mouse clicks or key presses. I use the task manager to shut it down. When I restart, I select the option to restart Firefox with the same tabs and it does that and runs fine for a few hours and then it hangs again.
