I have Windows 7 and IE 10 and have installed Adobe Flash Player 11 multiple times.

I have Windows 7 and IE 10 and have installed Adobe Flash Player 11 multiple times. When I go to play a YouTube video, it tells me that I still need to install Flash Player and will not work. I've installed it many times and still nothing. Please help--getting very frustrated that I can watch YouTube videos on my smartphone, but can't on my computer which costs 12 times as much!!!

I understand that you are having issues installing Adobe Flash Player on your HP Pavilion 500-281 Desktop PC running Windows 7. I am providing you with a link to the Adobe Troubleshooting document: Flash Player Help / Installation problems | Flash Player | Windows, which Adobe has designed to address installation problems. • I have Windows XP,Firefox does not recognize my Adobe flash player. How doI fix this.

I have the latest version of Adobe flash player,It works with IE,it will not work with Firefox. It will not download flash player, because it is already installed,How do I get to work with Firefox?Thank you for your time.

There are 2 versions of Adobe Flash:
*an '''ActiveX version''' for IE only
*a '''Plugin version''' for most other browsers including Firefox
*On a Windows system, you should always update both individually.
'''''You do not appear to have the Plugin version for Firefox installed. ''''' If you did, in Add-ons > Plugins you would see "Shockwave Flash ''(version)''". If "Shockwave Flash" is there and is disabled, click the "Enable" button.
Check your Plugins often --> http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/
*only the most popular/used Plugins are known by this page
*page will detect only installed, '''''enabled''''' Plugins
    '''<u>Install or update Adobe Flash</u>'''<br />
#'''<u>Using Firefox</u>''', go to the following link and SAVE the download to your desktop so you can find it later. Un-check any items on that page that you do not want to download (i.e., "McAfee Security Scan Plus":
#When the download is finished, close Firefox (File > Exit '''''OR''''' Firefox button > Exit)
#Click or double-click on the file you just saved to your desktop
#*In the installation window that appears, click the box to the left of "I have read and...." to place a check mark in the box
#*The "Install" button in the lower right corner will now be highlighted, click it.
    #*The installation is quick.
#Start Firefox and test your installation here: https://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
#To update/install the ActiveX version for IE '''''only''''', repeat the process, '''<u>but use IE to go to the above website</u>'''.

    Hello,
Flash Player is not supported on Windows Phone.  At this time, there are no plans to support Windows Phone.  I am not aware of alternatives on Windows Phone OS for viewing Flash content.

When I tried to install Adobe Flash Player several times without success I finally contactedAdobe Support.they directed me to +support log me in rescue. They viewed my screen andtold me that two hackers had hacked my computer and they were located in Cupertino,Ca. The tech said it would be 45 minuts to fix it and would cost $50.

  • I cannot view videos and have downloated Adobe Flash Player several times.

I have downloaded Adobe Flash Player several times and still cannot view videos.  I get the error message "you do not have Adobe Flash Player" and the screen for me to download it.  Please help.

    Hi,
    Try the following.
First, download the Flash uninstall utility on the link below and save it to your Desktop.
    Flash Player Uninstaller.
When the download has completed, close all browser windows and run the uninstaller.  After this has completed, restart the notebook.
Next, ( unless you already have it ), download and install Firefox and then using Firefox, download and install the latest version of Adobe Flash.  Note: You may want to deselect the option to include McAfee Security Scan Plus before downloading.
Close all browser windows before running the Flash installer.
Launch Firefox and see if the videos play Ok in this browser - if they do, close Firefox, open Internet Explorer and click on the same Adobe Flash link above to get a prompt to install the ActiveX component.  When done, restart Internet Explorer.

I have installed adobe flash player on my computer and this is not working please help

What is your operating system & version?

What means "not working"; what do you see instead of the expected Flash content?

  • I have a new mini ipad and need to install Adobe Flash Player on it in order to use certain items on the internet.  Can Adobe Flash Player be installed an used on my ipad??

I have my first ipad.  It is the mini version.  I'm trying to go to certain sites on the internet that tell me I need to update or install Adobe Flash Player. When I try to down load Adobe Flash Player I get a message saying "this device does not support Adobe Flash Player".   Can I not use Adobe Flash Player on my ipad like I do on my computers and my iphone???

You can't install flash player on your iPad, nor on your iPhone - it's not supported on iOS devices, and as Adobe have stopped development on all mobile versions of it, it probably never will be.
Browser apps such as Skyfire, iSwifter, Puffin and Photon 'work' on some sites. Also some websites have their own apps in the App Store.

Hi, I need to install Adobe Flash Player because the version I have installed in my Mac Os is old, but I can´t do it because I need to write my email and my password and I don´t remember my password, so what can I do? Thank you

The email and password will be the ones for your computer's security, not something for any Adobe product.  You might need to consult Mac customer support if you are unable to determine the required information.

  • Hello, I have a new Mac Book Pro and I am unable to get Adobe flash player to work. When I install it says it has been installed. Where should I see that it is installed. Where do I find it?

Hello, I have a new Mac Book Pro and I am unable to get Adobe flash player to work. When I install it it says it has been installed. But where do I see the application that it is there?

    Check your system preferences.
My copy of flash installed as a preferance pane.
If its there you will be able to check the current installed version and set preferences for flash and updating.

I have downloaded and installed Adobe Flash Player, but it was installed to a "disk image".  I don't know what that is, but I cannot view anything that requires flash player.  What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for your help, but that didn't do any good either.  I have been double clicking from the download files, double clicking on the "install adobe flash player", closing the anti virus, closing Safari, watching the install progress and clicking finish.  It indicates that "flash player" is installed, but every time I try to view something requiring flash player, it tells me I must download it.  It shows up in the "system preference"  and from there I can make some changes, but it still won't let me view anything requiring "flash player".   It does not show up in my apps like Adobe Reader does.  It shows up in the "downloaded files" section of "Finder".  I'm getting really perplexed over my inability to get this right.

I am also unable to even see the link to audio replay on Capitol Pressroom archives. The same link is visible and functional on Internet Explorer.

There are some compatibility issues between the latest Flash player and some Firefox add-ons or settings. Could you see whether anything in this article helps: [[Flash 11.3 doesn't load video in Firefox]].
