I have Windows 8.1 and just bought the quicktime mpeg-2 playback component for windows and it won't install. I currently have Quicktime Pro.
I need to run Quicktime Pro and playback DVD with mpeg-2 content for school. I just downloaded Quicktime Pro, and purchased the quicktime mpeg-2 playback component for Windows, but I can't download it at all. Is this because my PC is running Windows 8.1?
If so, is there anything I can do?

You actually have several options. However, since you specifically want to use it it with MPEG Streamclip, the easiest approach would be to download the MPEG Streamclip "Beta" package for the Mac which includes a utility app that will help install the QT MPEG-2 Playback component on Lion and later operating systems. I just bought the new MacBook Air a few days ago and my Internet connection is so slow. My iPhone's connection works fine when connected to the wifi but the MacBook connects for a few seconds then drops completely. What do I do? I tried connecting it to my phone's hotspot and it works perfectly. I'm a new Mac user so I have no idea what to do. I have Comcast xfinity cable and Internet. Thanks for the help.

I opened iPhoto and it opened as if I just bought the computer. Where are all my photos and how do I get them back? Luckily for the most part, I backed up photos on my flash drive, but I had just imported dozens of pictures from my phone. I reopen iPhoto soon after and the prompt asking how I would like to start iPhoto and all came up. I selected what brought me to the iPhoto I open up to every day only without any pictures.
Are you in the correct account that contains the iPhoto Library?
Did you ever move your iPhoto Library to an external drive? If so, and you disconnect this drive, iPhoto will create a new blank one in the pictures folder.
Check your computer to see if the "iPhoto Library" was accidently moved to the trash.
If you still can't locate your images, launch finder, and select "all images" in the source column. This will display all images on your computer. Be carefull not to delete, move or modify the images you see in this manner, as it will cause issues with good iPhoto Libraries, however it may help us locate where the images are.
Once you locate an image, click it once, then in the top menu bar, select "view / show path". This will display it's location along the bottom of the finder window.
Once you know where the image is, this should help you launch iPhoto to the correct library. -

The most comprehensive delete method I know about is to delete the book from iTunes on the computer you sync your iPad with. You'll be asked if you're sure, and it will be deleted from your iPad and any other i-Device you sync to.

I had older ipod shuffle that broke and purchased over two hundred in songs and dont have that email and dont remember password. I just bought the new shuffle and want to see how I can access those songs without having to pay for them again.

Currently, we do not support export pdf to word service on iPad. You can convert or combine your photo image files in your iPad to a pdf. Export pdf to word should work on PC or MAC

A window pops up that says a new version of Firefox is available (version 32.x). I click on install, and nothing happens. The wheel keeps spinning so I close the window.
