If it was a boxed product you will have a Mac installation DVD in the package and can install it with the same serial number. Ivon, when you are satisfied that you have successfully imported the new folders to the iPad you can go back (as I have described above) and delete the originals of those you copied out in order to avoid 'duplication' and also save space.
The method I have described also has advantages over creating new albums within the Photos app on the iPad since it 'duplicates' the photos and only permits the deletion of all so called copies. King_Penguin is correct when he states you can copy out photos originally taken with the iPad etc.

Just bought Windows XP laptop and can't get it to see my mac mini

I bought a netbook for easy cheap web surfing, windows xp.
However, really want it to be able to read Itunes and Photos from my mac mini.
I just can't get it to see the mac mini at all.
I have set up Itunes and photos folders for sharing, and on the sharing page
set up for windows access.
I have seen various forums where it says log in as windows user in the accounts setting, however my accounts setting does not have this option when you open it.
I am at a loss.
Does anyone know the way to sort this?

The problem is that i don't know how to get the MacOS back. I cannot take it to the store to get it fixed there so i think i have to deal with everything myself. I still have my CDs with the OS. When I thing of the Thousands of dollars I have spent to get a 2000 song library and how Applle keeps screwing Windows users (no back-up of songs) I just think what a fool I was.

I did think about that and if I have to I will do that, however there are about 50 songs. I have closed and reopened iTunes several times and I am sure that I have the latest version.
