Nooo or you would use OS X Recovery Mode: Disk Utilty and then Startup Disk.

I have not had any trouble with it but now it will not let me sync- I have downloaded cds to itunes but when I sync my ipod it does not put the cds on my ipod. If those solutions don't work your iPhone 4s has developed a hardware problem. The permanent solution is to get it replaced.
You can search the internet for heating and freezing solutions that might work (at least for a while).

I was thinking that it might be a good idea to remove iTunes and all of its components including Bonjour and re installing them.

I have Maverick on my computer but icloud will not allow me to share photos.
