ive downloaded firefox 5 times, and every time it says contact computer administrater to configure firefox,ive done all i can think of,my system is XP SERVICEPACK 3....PLEASE HELP

When i download iTunes, it says "QuickTime not found"

i downloaded iTunes but when i try to play it, it says "QuickTime not found" and i go download quicktime itself and when its done it says Quicktime not found again.
When i go to my control panel and try to remove the program it says "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable." And when i try to delete it, it says the source cannot be found.
I've tried rebooting my computer but it doesnt do anything.
Please help.

It might be worth trying a complete removal of iTunes and Quicktime followed by a phased reinstall.
Download a fresh copy of iTunes and also the version of QUicktime that does not include iTunes (it is not the defualt option):

Use the following method to remove iTunes and QUicktime etc:

Restart your computer.
Install Quicktime and check to see it works.
If it does, install iTunes.

1. Right click the iocon speaker (bootom right hand side)
2. Select "Recording Devices"
3. Enable the microphone

There is a bug filed on the issue and I'm told it's being worked on. So I will check on it from time to time.
But I wish they would just remove Java version checking from that page for Mac users (as it seems the problem is more complicated for Mac users than Windows users) so Mac users would not be confused by this. I'd like them to just provide a link every time to the Oracle page that has the latest Java plugin for Mac regardless of what version number you have. That would be a WAY better solution than this broken situation we have now.

Hello, Can someone assist me with trying to figure out how to locate previously purchased songs on my itunes library that are showing up with an exclamation point infront of the titile. I try and play the song and i get a message stating that Itunes cannot locate the original file... HELP:/

This happens if the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout,or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
Alternatively, as long as you can find a location holding the missing files, then you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes .

Download of acrobat x does not work, how do i fix it??

...ok here is the short story. Nove 2011 i purchased Acrobat x, installed it om my computer. I just purchased two additional computers. I contacted customer service they directed me to license.adobe.com to down load procedures. i downloaded and registered "sucessfully" but after several attempts to create pdf from scanner (same printer i use from the other computer to create pdf docs) it does: 1...pop up window "Bad parameter."...2...I attempt to close Adobe Acrobat, pop up window says"This operation is not allowed, since scanning in progress."...3...i retry this a dozen times...go to un-install BUT instead a attempt "Repair" to down load twice...4...I attempt to close adobe acrobat several times with no sucess...5...i attempt normal shut down of computer (multiple times)...and i get warning tht adobe acrobat is still open ...i do forced shutdown...i am looking at un-installing program and starting all over. This seem like it would/should be a trouble free opperation. I spoke w/ customer rep, was directed to download program, did so and resistered....whats up with that...;(
