Hi, how do we let Apple know about the problem? I've been searching everywhere.... I can see it's a common issue so the problem must be on their end. P.S. My warranty has expired so it seems I can't contact the help desk....

Troubleshoot issues on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store:
Make sure your date, time, and time zone are correct in Settings > General > Date & Time.
Note: Time Zone may list another city in your time zone.
Make sure that your iOS software is up to date by tapping Settings > General > Software Update (iOS 5 or later) or connecting your iOS device to iTunes and clicking Check for Update on your device's Summary page.
Check and verify that you're in range of a Wi-Fi router or base station. If you're on a device with cellular service, make sure that cellular data is turned on from Settings > General > Cellular.
Note: If connected to cellular data, larger items may not download. You may need to connect to Wi-Fi to download apps, videos, and podcasts.
Make sure that you have an active Internet connection. You can check the user guide for your device for help with connecting to the Internet.
Make sure that other devices (portable computers, for example) are able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and access the Internet.
Try resetting (turning off and then on again) your Wi-Fi router.
If the issue persists, try troubleshooting your Wi-Fi networks and connections.

My question has not be answers yet,I am using iPad 3 and I can not get to connect to iTunes Store to download anything.
The iPad Screen is almost square, HD TVs are rectangular so will never be full screen. When watching movies, the movies native aspect ratio will be used rather than the iPads screen aspect ratio so will look full screen if the movie is full screen, but most likely will be seen in wide screen letter box format. with black bars across the top and bottom as that what most movies from iTunes are in, format wise

Updated to 10.5.1.42 and now can't connect to itunes store
I have noticed that I am not the only one having this problem but the only error message I am getting is "itunes has stopped working, windows is checking for a solution to this problem" then I have to close it. I have run itunes diagnostics and this says connections ok. I have logged on as another user and found that itunes works fine on this.
The only resolution I could get from Support was to replace the device.

Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Power cycle the router.
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved. -

Try quitting the App Store:
Tap the home button to get to the home screen. Then double tap the home button, and hold your finger over the App Store icon. Tap the red when it appears. Tap the home button again to return to the home screen.
Try resetting:
Hold the home and power buttons at the same time until the Apple boot logo appears. No data will be lost. -

See the IT Guy and ask about any "Other Security WiFi Blocks"

Try a location with a Non Secure WiFi -> As these locataions "typically" do not have a IT Guy to go to for questions regarding [Other Security WiFi Blocks]
Non-Secure WiFi -
Then try the steps below [Even with the others listed above]
Just because you may be able to get to a Secure and Non Secure Website on safari on the iphone does not mean the WiFi connection is "Perfect or ok" and I am not saying it is not.
Also take into effect servers for iTunes updates/Apps etc could be overloaded at that time.
You can also try a simple Hard Reset [Hold down Sleep/Wake button and Home button at same time - Once see Apple Logo release both buttons - Allow iphone to reset]
If have already tried these and have not contacted AppleCare Support try that too.

8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4
That's Google DNS. Click OK, then Apply.
In Safari, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data
and confirm. If you’re using another browser, empty the cache. Test. Any difference?
Notes:
1. If you lose Internet access after making the above change to your network settings, delete the Google servers in the Network preference pane, then select the TCP/IP tab and click Renew DHCP Lease. That should restore the original DNS settings; otherwise restore them yourself. Remember that you must click Apply in order for any changes to take effect.
2. I don't use Google DNS myself, though I have tested it, and I'm not recommending it or any other DNS provider; the server addresses are offered merely for testing purposes. There may be privacy and technical issues involved in using that service, which you should investigate personally before you decide whether to keep the settings. Other public DNS services exist. -
My Apple ID was disabled. I reseted it successfully. Afterwards, when I am trying to update the pending apps in App Store on my phone, in order to sign in to iTunes Store I am requested to enter a password to the wrong Apple ID which definitely does not belong to me ('[email protected]'). Of course, I don't know this password and, consequently, I can't connect to Itunes Store on my Iphone. As a result my Viber and Facetime are not active in the meanwhile. What should I do? You have to sign out then sign in with the correct Apple ID and password.
