Yes - hook it up to iTunes or use iCloud, just as you normally would.

    Apple doesn't sell insurance. Talk to your insurance company.  The warranty does not cover accidental damage or abuse.
    If you purchased AppleCare+, you can get up to 2 discounted (US$49) replacements over the course of 2 years for user inflicted damage. Sounds like that's not what you have.
    As I said, talk to your insurance company.

    You can suspend for up to 180 days in a rolling one year period.  It would appear that you have suspended the line for 180 days since April 2014, so you can no longer suspend it for another 90 days at a time. but only what's left of the 180 days since one year ago today.
    Does that make sense?

    Just call your provider and tell them what you want and they will help you get it done properly.

I just recentely got AT&T.  When I had verizon before and my phone got disconnected it allowed me to still iMessage off my number.

    If your phone service is disconnected, it's not your number any more.
    If you "just got AT&T", how can it be disconnected?

    When you connect the iPod to the adapter or PC, you should see either of these signs on the iPod Screen .
    If you just get
    It may mean that your Adapter is not giving enough juice, because
    the adapter or the cable  is defective or
    your bottom dock connector is dirty with lint or dirt.

    Connect the HDD to your MBP.  Open Disk Utility>Erase and drag the HDD icon inrt the Name field.  The format should be Mac OS Extended (Journaled).  Click on the Erase button.
    Then try the clone process again.  You may use Disk Utility>Restore or a third party cloning application such as Carbon Copy Cloner or Super Duper.

    Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

    Yes, when you first turn the computer on, I'm not talking about iTunes. You can give different users of the computer their own personal profile, it means each user has their own independent settings almost as though they are on a completely different computer.
    In Windows 7 you need to go into control panel>user accounts>add or remove user accounts and set up an account with your own identity. From then on, when you switch the computer on there'll be two profiles to choose from, yours and your sons. If you go into your new profile and open iTunes it'll be like starting from scratch. You will be able to create a completely new iTunes account that'll be totally seperate from the old one. Unfortunately you'll have to add your music again.
    If you don't want to import all your CDs again you can copy them from the original profile on the computer to a flash drive and then copy them into the iTunes folder in your new profile.

    Sorry, let me clarify. I have two Apple IDs A and B:
    A: Used for iCloud. All my calendar, mail, contacts, and other iCloud features are here. This is the ID I use as "the" iCloud on my iOS devices and OS X machines.
    B: Used only for purchases, on all my devices and machines. This is what I used to log into iTunes, or to buy apps for iOS or OS X.
    The issue is that the only way (currently) to set up Family Sharing is to invite from an iCloud ID (A, in my case) on an iOS 8 device. That's not the ID (B) I use for purchases. The question is whether there's a way to share those purchases given that I'm configured on all my devices with A for iCloud. (Clearly if I somehow send invitations from B, I can share purchases; but that's not the question.)
    It sounds like the answer to that question is 'No'.
    If that's the case, how do I invite from B? Do I have to configure an iOS device with B as the iCloud ID? My problem isn't that I want to ("willy nilly") avoid inviting form B; it's that there seems to be no way (certainly no convenient way) to do that.

    On the 17th july my phone line was apparently siezed when upstairs neighbours ordered a phone line with another company. Since then I've been pulling my hair out trying to sort it on my mobile phone going from department to department and being hung up on frequently and promised call backs never happening which has cost me £38 phoning BT and another £20 to get mobile broadband for 1 week!
    I've also tried the BT help section on the website and sent 2 messages and haven't had a reply yet, first one i sent was on saturday so can someone please help me get this sorted, I can't afford to use my mobile anymore, one call cost me £15!
    Please help!
