I havent used my ipod in a long time so it needs to update on icloud but everytime i have it on all it does is ask for a bunch of passwords that it says are wrong even though they are correct. I am trying to restore my ipod but cant
I cant turn off find my ipod so that i can restore it on itunes. I cant turn it off bcause of the multitude of popups asking for my password which i enter correctly but it says it is incorrect.
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.
Note:
After you restore you will still have to endter the Apple ID and password for the iCloud account used on the iPod

To recover use of the iCloud account you have to reset the password. You do that the same way as an Apple ID password

Sorry, there is nothing you can do until the device is removed from the sellers Apple ID.

Why are questions shown as wrong even though they are selected to be the right questions?
I tested my module after publishing and everything works great except the quiz. When I take the quiz, I get almost all of my answers wrong even though the answers that I select are the right answers chosen before publishing. Is this a bug with Captivate 8 or is there something I'm not doing right? Thanks!
User error. That makes sense now.
Just a tip: Having a Next button as well as a Submit button visible on a quiz slide is asking for trouble. I hide my Next buttons UNDERNEATH the Clear button. That way, they are visible ONLY when the user is Reviewing the quiz. That's about the only time they're actually needed anyway. -

then send you'll get to a page yo send email (dont do chat later) > ask them to reset your security questions.
they are going to have you verify a couple things on your account to make sure you are you but that should get it fixed -

After installing the latest update from apple my iPhone 4 will not complete the restore process with out a backup password. I don't recall ever setting up a backup password and there is no help button if you can't find the password. Apparently I'll loose all my data and have to set the phone up as a new phone. This is very frustrating.

When I try to email a photo from my iphone it ask for my id and password, then it says you already have an account?
I figured out that I could use the message selection it gives and just type in my email address and it worked. I dont know why the email selection never worked, it just kept asking me to enter id and password and then telling me I have an account? I will be getting the newest phone so I can be rid of this ancient one: )

My iPhone V will not connect to a Microsoft Exchange server. It says that the User Name or Password are incorrect even though they're not and I can log on directly to Exchange with the same parameters using the web browser.
I bought the phone when it came out last October. The connection did not work at first, then started without warning in December. It worked perfectly for 2 months then stopped again when IOS 6.1.2 was Installed.
Help please!I have forwarded these questions about the version of Exchange server that is being used and whether Microsoft host the mai themselves to the IT Dept but I will not get a reply from them until tomorrow.
In the meantime I have also tried:
Deleting and re-creating the account AGAIN!
And re-setting the phone (recommended as a solution to a similar problem with an iPad in another forum.
But please remember that:
The phone would not connect for 2 months after I bought it
Then started working unexpectedly in December
Then stopped working again when IOS 6.1.2. was installed
Also why am I the only person affected by this when colleagues with iPhone 3s and 4s who use the same mail system are not (I am still trying to find one with an iPhone V to see if their's works).
Like I said I think that there must be a fault, either with my own phone or with iPhone Vs in general. -

Why does Indesign say I have missing fonts even though they are in my packaged document?
I use CS4 on my pc at work, and always package my files, as I have always done on my mac at home, to keep the links and fonts together so that when I send someone a folder, all of the fonts and images work. For some reason, the packaged graphic designs (created on a mac) that are being sent to us from our graphic designer, all of my fonts are lost - even after having purchased the main one that we use - Gotham - to prevent this from happening. This also occurs with any designs that I package and send out to others in our office. I always have to relink the Gotham fonts, and I cannot retrieve the formatting for the fonts that we don't have, even though they are packaged.
We are considering purchasing a mac for me to use in the office, but I'd like to make sure that it is not user error before we proceed.
Any ideas would be wonderful. I never had this problem with my mac at home with packaging, and it has me confused and frustrated at work.
Thanks!Since CS6 is the current release, upgrading to CS5 is a near impossibility, and EVERYONE will need to upgrade in lockstep or you'll be worse off than you are now with users of your newer version creating files that cannot be opened by users of CS4 (and your CS4 packages won't automatically install the fonts in the documents in the later versions without manually changing the names of the packaged fonts folders).
As far as font formats, if you are going to collaborate cross-platform, the font of choice is OpenType, which is 100% cross-platform compatible, and second choice is Windows TrueType which also can be installed on Mac OS X (so, essentially, also cross-platform). Last choice would be to use Windows Type1 which can be installed in the private InDesign Fonts folder in the Mac applications folder and will work in ID, but nowhere else. Any of these would allow everyone to use the same fonts, presuming you all purchase the same versions. Purchasing Windows versions and Mac versions of the same font usually works, but there may be little surprises, and you probbly don't want that. -
I made a movie in iMovie then deleted the clips in it. I have reimported the clips in an event with the same name as previously and some clips in the movie are still saying source slip missing even though they are there. Some clips are fine in the movie, but most are just black and when I hover over them, it says source clip missing. How to I fix this? Thank You
I did that too, then I did a migration assistant to a new Mac and ALL of my movies have Source Clip Missing now, even though the original clips are still in the iPhoto Videos. I can stand to re edit one or two projects, but not ALL.

I was not complete clear.
Since you never changed the settings in the advanced section of iTunes preferecnes, you have to chech that your music is really in the location setted in the folders reported in the advanced section. If not you have 2 ways: reset the position of this folders or in the actual disk organisation or in the pointing on the preferences.
If you press the reset button you just give to itunes its default setting as for the position of the music files: probably this will be a good choice if you have never changed any default preference.
But before I would check the folders and see if the songs are really there

I just used stellar phoenix mac data recovery and it seemed to work but now my files won't open. Even though they are "jpeg, mov" files, the error message is "could not be opened". The movie's file format isn't recognized. " Any help or are they corrupted?
Sounds to me like the file is probably corrupt. If you had hard drive corruption or damage, that could easily result in recovered files not being fully intact. If you were trying to recover accidentally deleted files, it's possible they might have been partially overwritten before recovering. There are never any guarantees with file recovery.
Without more information on the circumstances that led you to try recovery, it's hard to give advice on what to try from here. You could always try another file recovery tool, like Data Rescue 3. Just be sure you're taking appropriate precautions when doing recovery. See Recovering deleted files.
