I hit some button that i don't know, and now when i open firefox, it automatically goes to minimized. How do i get it back?

Ok, i'm a boob, i was using firefox, hit some button inadvertantly and now when i double click to open it, it goes straight to minimized. Using 33.1.1 with windows xp.

Thank you for your advise. While your remedy does work to that end, i usually have my browser set to partial window rather than full screen, so I'd have to make an adjustment that way too. It used to come up into the partial screen, but now drops to the task bar upon opening. Or it opens full screen, if i set it to full screen before closing out my browser. I'm looking to have it open to partial screen like it used to. Any ideas?

Do you maybe have your contacts separated into groups? If so, perhaps you have unchecked the group that the missing contact are in.
In the Contacts app, click the Groups button in the upper left corner. Make sure all groups have a check mark next to them.

I have installed bearshare and now when I open firefox, my homepage disappears and the my google search engine is now bearshare which I don't want.

I cant find any of my recently bought songs or the apps i have purchased. When I was updating my ipod there was a button that asked about transfering purchases and I didnt read it, and I didnt update manually so i think thats why i lost everything. In a word, yes. In a little more detail.... When you restore from an iCloud backup, you must erase the device and start all over again. There is no other way to access the backup in iCloud without erasing the device. Consequently, you are starting all over again. Therefore, it would also be my assumption that Pages and Numbers will work again and that the deleting apps issues would be fixed as well.
If the documents are not in the backup, and you do not have a backup elsewhere, the documents could be gone forever.

If you are getting the connect to iTunes screen then it's too late to take a new backup and/or copy anything off it. Prior to starting the update did you take a backup, either to the cloud and/or to your computer's iTunes ? If not then have you recently taken a backup that might have your photos and apps content/settings in it ?
As long as the apps are still in your country's store then you should be able to redownload them via the Purchased tab in the App Store app (and the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes), and if the apps store their content on a server/cloud service then you might be able to get their content back from that - if they store their content on the device then you will need to have a backup.
For our photos you could try doing a search for programs that claim to be able to recover content from a device - I haven't used any so I can't suggest one.

Get your iPhone to update only one app at a time as follows:
Click each application that is updating to get it to a "Paused" state. Once they are all paused, then do this for one application at a time:
Click it until is says "Updating". Let it finish updating and installing. Then repeat for the next application.

Another way of opening the home page in a new tab is to middle click on the home button in the navigation toolbar.

The app may not be iOS6 compatible. Have you tried to reset it? HOld down the sleep and home keys, past when you see the red slider, and unitl you see the silver apple. Let it reboot and see if that helps. If it doesn't, then I'd contact Kindle and see when they're going to update their app or if they even know there's an issue. Unfortunately, the burden is on app developers to be compatible with the operating system, not on the OS to be compatible with millions of apps. So it's up to them.
