I am asking this using my private E-mail, but I also have a work login for Firefox help which I am unable to access. I am able to reset my password for that account, but I am unable to guess or find out what username I used.

You cannot retrieve it.
You can do as the manual tells you to do and restore the ipod.
If you are unable to restore, then type "unable to restore" into the search bar at the top of this page by Support and read the resulting help articles.

So do not rely on it.<br />
If you want to protect content then you have to use methods supported by the OS like a separate user account with a password or an encrypted file system.

There are so many passwords.. which one do you mean?
TC password or disk password in the TC.. no problem.. soft reset.
Or recover the password.. via the Tesserax method.

If you encrypted the backup in TM and have forgotten that password you are doomed.. there is no way to recover it I know of.. there is a warning.. very clear.. do not forget the password.

If you selected open a new Apple ID account, go back a step and enter use existing Apple ID.
You will have to set up a separate iCloud account or your iPads will mirror each other.

All this means is that they're in your session file, but not available in the Files tab any more to be loaded with the session. The fix should be simple - put them back in the Files tab, and they should be available again and not show as offline. If they still don't show, then if you highlight each clip and go to the Properties tab, it will be listed, and there will be an option to relink the media.

2. Click "Sign In"
3. Click the blue "Forgot Password" link below the password space
4. Enter the email address that is associated with the ePrintCenter account
5. Check corresponding email
6. Follow link in the email from ePrintCenter

The backups for your version are date-time stamped as the name and with an extension of .fcpproject. They look like this.
The original project is named CurrentVersion.fcpproject.
You need to replace the CurrentVersion with the backup file and rename it to be CurrentVersion.fcpproject.
With FCPX closed, I suggest you move the original to the Trash, but not empty it. Then promote your backup one level higher in the project folder hierarchy (to be at the same level that the original previously occupied. Then rename the backup.
Open up FCPX, which should now recognize your project.

I understand what that's like, believe me. And adding problems with an Apple product really adds insult to injury. Trust me, calling them when the lines are open will be really good. They're very nice, and from my own experience they've always found a solution for me. When you're frenzied it's sometimes nice to talk to a person instead of fill out a form. Refer to my post above for their number, but I don't think they open until 9 'o clock Pacific Time or something like that. Good luck!
