I inherited an iphone 4 from my daughter 1 month ago. I updated, upon prompt on phone, to ios 7 and lost the ability to send MMS to any phone other than an iphone.
I have been to Apple, AA & T, and our no contract carrier and NO ONE knows what happened or how to help.

By the way, this is not a jail broken phone. It is an AT & T phone using a no conract service that uses AT & T towers.

I have an iPhone 4s in the UK with EE, I recently upgraded to iOS 8 and lost the ability to access cellular data.
I've upgraded to iOS 8.0.2 with no improvement.

I realise the 4s is fairly old tech but this experience has been quite time consuming and incredibly frustrating as I still haven't managed to resolve the issue. I had been holding back to upgrade to the new generation of iPhone but this experience and the negative press has made me seriously consider other options.Here is what you can try,
Hold both the power and home buttons until the device powers off, may take 10sec. Let go of both as soon as screen goes black.
Open itunes on your computer and plug in your cable to the computer but NOT the phone.
Once itunes is open hold down the home button on phone and plug in cable and continue holding home button until you see the connect to iTunes logo on screen. iTunes will give a msg that a device has been detected in recovery mode. Now select restore and do not disconnect until you see your device in iTunes again. -

I have 1 outlook account and 2 hotmail accounts on my iphone 5.
I seem to have done something on the outlook advanced settings and lost the ability to send new email messages from any of my accounts!
I can reply and received but not send new message.

I have had my iPad for ten months, I bought it at Walmart and lost the reciete. Today I discovered a dead pixel. I have a one year warranty. Is it possible I can bring it into any retail store and have them repair it?
I dont know. Pj prob knows more than I. Only thing I had fixed was a classic Ipod(@apple) like 8-10 years ago. I wasnt even sure if i got a new ipod or not at the time. It did come back blank so maybe it was new. This whole thing was new to me at the time(I was about 13).
They should be able to do something. Even the warrenty and apple extended care SAYS it even protects against 2 claims of "misuse", say if you dropped it. They SHOULD be able to replace it or fix it no charge under warrenty. Youd think atleast. -

I haven't done a thing genuinely. It didn't stop working after an update or anything, it just started doing this.
Did you buy AppleCare? If not, you are out of warranty, so the best you can expect is to be eligible for an out of warranty replacement at your cost. Take it into an Apple Store and they can tell you if it qualifies or not.

The idea to jumpstart by change was not the smartest one, but gives you an opportunity to use that "temporary" account as permanent. You do not have a choice cause obviously despite you thinking that old account is no more -it does exist on Apple servers. And if you are unwilling to share your [email protected] with friend, just create one extra [email protected] for your friend. One suggestion - do not use gmail.

Checked the usb status and it sees an iphone ( 4s ) attached,
Repaired disc permissions
updated and reset iphone
and itunes
reinstalled mavericks from scratch
phone alert saying " TRUST THIS COMPUTER?"
hit trust
same alert keeps appearing
again and again
itunes keeps wittling on about "iTunes could not connect to this iPhone. You do not have permission."

when I try to login to MobileMe or Icloud using my apple ID it won't work, and says Apple ID is correct but is not a Icloud account. Please help?!
I am not too sure but even if I didnt, wouldnt it have worked if I got a freind to log on to Find my Iphone from their apple device using my app ID and password? That didnt work either...

Does she have her own iCloud account? You can have more than one iCloud account installed on a device, and some users install a secondary iCloud account which is common to others in the family to allow "Find My iPhone" to be used from one account while keeping separate iCloud contacts, mail, etc.
But with iOS 7 although you can still have multiple iCloud accounts installed, only the "primary" iCloud account supports "Find my iPhone". So if her iCloud account is the primary, you can no longer track her from your iCloud account. Is that what happened in your case? -
About a month ago my wifi switch greyed out. I went through all the trouble shooting and ended up going to the Genius Bar and got a new iPhone 4S. Now the switch greyed out on the new one.. help!

Okay so I have had my Iphone for almost an entire year and there's a problem. I have gotten a scratch a scratch about a month ago on the back camera. It's at the very bottom. I've gotten used to it so it doesn't bother me. Well ever since like a week ago my camera gets colorful lines that are verticle and go away when it's focused. Not to mention the high pitch noise while it focuses with the lines. I'm getting irritated with it. Mainly what's is wrong with my phone?! Also how much is the cost?Since we can't examine your phone, we really have no idea what is wrong. Why don't you make an appointment at your local Genius Bar and get the phone examined and what your options are moving forward.

My icloud emails arent arriving most of the time and a few days ago my iphone and ipad started showing "Can't Get Mail" box. This has not happened before since I set up the iclud email address with the purchase of my ipad about a month ago.
That's one of the weird things.. it recognizes it maybe 10% of the time. And usually, only after I do the two-button reset. Problem is.. since it won't charge above 2%, anytime I try to do a restore or anything like that using iTunes, my device shuts off and I lose whatever progress I'd made.
So, an update... after reading through a bunch of similar complaints (there are literally 1000's of them so there's NO WAY this isn't somehow ios7 related, thanks a lot APPLE ) I decided to try a restore in recovery mode. After 3 hours and several disconnections... I ended up having to just set it up as a new iPad, as the restore did nothing. Weirdly though... as I was doing the restore in recovery mode.. I noticed I'd gotten up to a 10% charge.. higher than it's been since September, so after setting it up as a new device, I turned it off and plugged it in using the wall charger. 2 hours later and I was up to 38%. Still not great, as my iPad, before ios7 could've fully charged twice in the amount of time it took for me to now get 28% more of a charge. And that's with a fully cleaned out device.. so that really ***** and I'm now more confused than ever.
But I'm gonna leave it overnight charging and see what I come up with tomorrow. Sadly, when I paid $600 for it in February, I never expected to have to play "wait and see" with it... -
When I view my ipohotos on my mac air that have been uploaded from my iphone, sometimes my computer just shuts down. It is when I have the iphoto open. I'm not sure which version this is...I bought the computer about four months ago.

I have downloaded every update and my battery life is better than any previous iPhone I have ever owned. I see posts from hundreds of people every day, and this is not a commonly reported problem.
