I input 1080p high quality video - how can I get as lossless export as possible?
I am making a long documentary and I want to synch video and audio and prepare many snippets of video and put them in my library. I want to export each of them as lossless as possible. What are the optimal export settings for lossless?

Did you load the footage already? If so, what is the codec?
If not then we generally use 10 bit uncompressed & ProRes 422 (HQ)
We load with one of those codecs, have sequence settings to match, & then export QT current settings.
one issue is the files can be rather large.
last doc we worked on as 10 bit uncompressed was 400 GB for the final export (50 min)
Pro Res is said to be virtually lossless. Lots of other options, but all depends on what codec the footage is, what your edit settings are, and what the final end use is for the project.

Correct. When you update via iTunes all synced media that is not in your iTunes library will be lost.

How can I get Lightroom to export my edit to a jpeg that looks the same ?
Hi everyone,
I can't get my jpeg export to look the same as it looks in lightroom after edit.
The jpeg isn't that different but still, way too much for me.
I did use sRVB, 100% no scaling etc... but it seems the export won't take "all" of my noise reduction correction..
This is a portrait shot in lowww light, and the raw file was rather crappy. Eventhough I was really happy with my smooth final edit but I can't get my jpeg to look as clean.. please someone help meee !

In lightroom my image is just clean whereas after export, I can notice some artifacts or "moire", and it feels like the noise reduction/sharpen tool doesnt apply its correction as it should.. but it still does a bit bc it's not as if I turned it off completly...

My free trail expired before I finished exporting my video, how can I get it back?
I didn't realized that my free trail expired, I didn't export the video I just saved it. So when I tired to reopen it its asking for an serial number. I don't know how to get the serial number, is there any way I can get the video back. If I buy it will it be there?
if you subscribe you should be able to open your project. if you know someone with adobe cc, then you could take all the files to them and have them export out your final video.

I bought the new Iphone 4s. I backed up my old 3gs on Itunes store before trading in my old Iphone. I sync my new phone and I have all of my apps but non of the high scores. For example I played all of the angry birds and had three stars on all levels. Now I have the app on my Iphone but I am back no levels completed. How do I fix this problem. My Itunes store is on a PC running Windows 7
Under the answer you want to mark as correct you should see a box that says Correct with a green symbol to the left and a box with Helpful with an orange star to the left. Click on the one you want.

Let me elaborate: I sent a photo from the mail app my iPad has and I sent it to myself. When I receive the mail I get to see the attached photo on the mail app but when I get to look it on a normal browser FROM the iPad I doesn't appear. However when I do get to see the mail from a browser from any other device I can get to see the photo. Please help!!
Whoever provides you web access to your email may suppress photo viewing on mobile devices. You should check with them. (E.g., ask Google if it's Gmail, ask your ISP if it's your ISP's webmail viewer, etc.)

Cracking noises when streaming videos how can i remmedy this, if it's possible?
when streaming videos on the web i get loud cracking noises. if i download the vid and then play it, it's ok
i have not tried to stream nor do i have an account to try. my vids on playbook do play for hours though.

4 solar panel inputs(DAQ) produce 4 voltages. how can i get all 4 voltages out ?
the DAQ has been set up to read four voltages from a solar panel which has four pv cells in a north east south west arrangment. i need to get all four voltages out, as they will be different. once out they will be manipulated and the solar panel controlled (proportional feedback control)
OK... have you looked at the DAQmx examples that ship with DAQmx? There are many examples that would apply to your situation. I would also suggest the Getting Started with NI-DAQmx: Main Page.

How can I get the script Export Layers to Files to export compressed pngs?

How can I get iPhoto to make edits possible?
I just received my new MacBook Pro and transferred all my data (including all my photos) from my old one. While I use Photoshop for more complex editing, I've never had a problem using the older versions of iPhoto for basic edits (e.g. rotating, cropping, basic color correction, etc.) Now, with iPhoto 11, NONE of those functions work. If I pull up a pic and open the edit screens, I see the buttons for these functions, but when I click on them nothing happens. This happens for every photo I pull up in any album. This is driving me nuts, nuts, nuts...please help!
Welcome to the Apple Discussions. Make a temporary, duplicate copy of the library and try the fix below:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your Home/Library/Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache files that are located in your Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder.
3 - reboot, launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: If you're moved your library from its default location in your Home/Pictures folder you will have to point iPhoto to its new location when you next open iPhoto by holding the the Option key. You'll also have to reset the iPhoto's various preferences.
Then check to see if the editing tools are working. -

How do I export an iMovie to a high quality version that can be played on a pc
Ok here's the stitch- I made a short project (about 2:30) and exported it to a m4v high quality video. It was about 54 mb and the resolution was great on my pc. however, I edited the project and when I exported it again it ended up as a really low resolution mp4 video and was only 3.9 ish mb. How do I get convert my iMovie to a high quality m4v video or other high quality file for a pc?
Ps I have a toshiba laptop and I made the imovie on my Mac desktop at school (and I don't know which model/year iMovie and Mac I have)
