I installed Acrobat Pro using AAM. It asks I agree to the terms and agreement. However, I can't!

Can anyone help me out?
The box where the agreement is supposed to be is blank. The pulldown at the top is empty. And the "Accept" button does nothing. My only option is to quit.

you purchased an upgrade version of acrobat.  if you don't have a qualifying product (previous acrobat version), you'll need to exchange.

When installing Acrobat Pro 11 on Windows 7 32 bit, it takes you through all the way to install, then it just hangs and won't install.

    Hi mrmacnology,
Please check and ensure that you should not have any prior version of Acrobat already installed on your computer.
Do you get any specific error message?
You might try installing Acrobat from a different browser.

  • Installing Acrobat Pro X

I signed up for the Adobe Creative Cloud thinking it was a really great idea. However, I'm having some serious issues installing the software. I finally got Dreamweaver to load after discovering the tip to install the trial and then enter my Adobe ID in the Dreamweaver setup process. Then I installed the trial of Acrobat Pro. The installation process didn't ask me for my Adobe ID, and now I have the distict pleasure of have a trial installation of Acrobat counting down the days until it expires. I entered my Creative Cloud serial number in the trial window but to no avail. The window says that it is not valid. How do I activate my installation of Acrobat? You guys need to seriously work on your cloud install methods!!! >:-(

I updated Adobe Application Manager. After the update and upon attempting to install Acrobat Pro from AAM, I get a message stating, "The download appears corrupted. Press Cancel, wait a few minutes and try again. (-60)" This is the same message I receive whenever I attempt to install anything from AAM. However, now I see a deactivate option in Acrobat Pro even though AAM does not indicate that it is installed. Furthermore, I'm not getting a popup telling me to license the software or continue with the trial. When I was getting the popup yesterday, I would enter my Create Cloud serial number in the serial number field, but it wouldn't accept it. The Adobe Create Cloud is the only number I've recieved in relation to Acrobat Pro X.
So, the short story is that I MAY now have a successful installation of Acrobat Pro. But if I do, I don't know why, and I couldn't replicate the process.

  • I want to install acrobat pro on my two computer

how can I install acrobat pro on my two computer

    Hi two computer installation,
The end-user license agreement allows you to install Acrobat on up to two computers. You can download Acrobat on the new computer by logging in to your account at https://cloud.acrobat.com/acrobat.
Since you have a subscription, no serial number is required. You should be able to log in and use Acrobat as soon as you have it installed.

  • Can't install Acrobat PRO in CC using CS6 (mac)

    Hi Community,
In my Company we plan to upgrade to adobe CC (2014) on macs.
In the first step we try to use CC and CS6 together on some macs to ensure it's working.
But since the installation of CC Acrobat PRO X (from CS6) asks for the licence key again when starting.
Unfortunaltly the problem still exists after reinstalling the CS6 package.
In the CC i have no option to install Acrobat PRO XI.
From the Adobe support I've got the hint to delete a file called opm.db in users/Library-folder but this did not help.
Does anyone know how I can fix this?
    thanks

I recently bought a new macbook and installed Acrobate Pro. My settings/preferences did not come over and I do not have the same style options for my signature.  It now only allows me three options and the style I have been using for the last year is not there.  How do I add additional options and get my preferred signature style back?

    Hi Amanda ,
Which version of Acrobat are you using?
Which signature style are you talking about?
You can go ahead and try uninstalling and reinstalling it and see if that works for you .
Use the cleaner tool to uninstall it .Here is the link.

I am trying to re-instal Acrobat Pro on my computer after changing OS and resetting everything. I am using the CC panel for installation. It shows it installed and won't let me install it. I doubled check everything on my computer and it is not installed. Even more, all my PDF files now show an HTML extension rather that PDF and only opens in my browser, which means the program is not here.
How to re-install it, please, when the CC panel installer won't let me do it? Thanks!

    Try "Pacifist"!
Pacifist is an application for Mac OS X that opens up .pkg installer packages, .dmg disk images, .zip, .tar, .tar.gz, .tar.bz2, .pax, and .xar archives, and more, and lets you install individual files out of them. This is useful if you need to install just one file out of a package instead of the entire package

  • How to succesfully install Acrobat Pro?

I used to use Acrobat Pro from Adobe CS 4 Design Premium on my Win7 computer. While time passed I purchased CS 5,5 Production Premium (which was full of new versions of software, but Acrobat Pro). Now, after reinstalling system on my computer I decided to reinstall Adobe software as well. Obviously I need only Acrobat Pro from CS4 pack, and whole CS 5,5 pack. Now real challenge comes: how to make it working?
Some explanation: I did as my common sense asked: I installed ONLY Acrobat Pro from CS4 and later CS 5,5. After that Acrobat is asking for another component of CS4 to confirm, and not having it (obviously) it shut down!!!!
Can someone help in this issue? Please I don't want to have two versions of each Adobe program installed (loosing space on my hd) just to have one tiny piece of software.....

Unfortunately this solution sounds a bit "absurd" - but perhaps is only solution. To install Acrobat Pro (say 200MB) I need to install at least 4GB of software!!! This is most "unusual". And against my felling of common sense

  • How to Re-installing Acrobat Pro v7?

I am in the process of having to format and reinstall WIN XP on my desktop.  I'd like to load Acrobat v7 on anouther machine just in case I'm not able to recover from formating the drive and also so I'll have the program to use while I restoring the old computer.  I have 3 CDs.  Adobe Acrobat v4.0, Adobe Acrobat v6.0 Pro UPDATE and Adobe Acrobat 7.0v Pro UPDATE. How do I install?

    My re-installation problem is solved!
The information from the following link provided the solution.
    http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/aam-lists-removed-apps-date.html
The title of the page, "CC desktop lists applications as 'Up to Date' when not installed", is a good description of my problem.  In my case, Adobe Acrobat XI Pro was listed as "Up to Date", even after I had uninstalled it.  So, CC desktop would not give me the option to re-install it.
This Adobe Help page gives 4 solutions.  I went through all 4, but my problem was not resolved until I performed Solution #4 -  which is to delete all traces of Adobe Creative Cloud using the "Adobe_Creative_Cloud_Cleaner_Tool" (see link below).  You can probably go straight to #4, but I didn't try that.
After I applied the CC Cleaner Tool, I re-installed CC Desktop App, and I was then able to re-install Acrobat Pro, along with other CC apps.
    I hope that this helps.

  • Install acrobat pro 8 on win 7 64 bit

    Hello
When i install acrobat pro 8 on win 7 it asks for vista disk.  This i have not got as im going from xp.  Can you asvise please?
    Neil

    Thanks, Sara.
I have done just that - I ran the cleaner and removed Acrobat entirely.  Did a fresh install.  Everything looked fine, was able to enter my serial number successfully, and got a successful install message.  Yet when I try to open the program, it will bring up a box briefly which then disappears and the program does not launch.  Subsequent attempts do not even bring up the box.  No program running in task manager.  This is version 11.0.07, running on Windows 7, 64 bit.  I don't know if it makes a difference, but this was obtained through TechSoup.org.

    =======================================
Last week, I got a new computer, a 64-bit machine, and wanted to transfer my copy of Pro 9.0 to my new computer and delete it from my old one. I still had the original setup file and my copy of the note above and proceeded to install Acrobat Pro 9.0 on the new machine. During the registration process, I entered by serial number and chose to register. I thought all was fine, but this mornign I opened a PDF document and got a Splash Screen that I needed to enter my ID and serial number. I did (again) and hit submit, but got a message that the serial number was not issued to my id (I used the ID in the confirmation note I got from Adobe above). How to I get Pro 9.0 to work on my new machine? In only have 28 more days of "trial" period before I am locked out.

    Thanks for the reply, Ankit.
When I bought Pro 9.0, I was upgrading from version 6, which I had purchased as a DVD from Adobe. When I got Pro 9.0, I thought I did not need the CD anymore and discarded it.  Of course, inside the jewel case was the license number for that version.
Does Adobe keep records on what I bought several years ago?  If so, the original serial number might be in that record. If I had that information, I could probably get the installation and registration to work as designed.

  • Installed Acrobat Pro and uninstall Reader does not work defaults back to Reader

I've installed Acrobat Pro, after installing Acrobat Reader.  After I uninstall Reader and click on a PDF file, it automatically opens it in Reader.  I've clicked Acrobat 9 as my preferred software, but next time, it reverts back to opening in Reader.  I'm using a lenovo Yoga laptop with Windows 8.1.

Thank you very much for your reply.  This didn't work.  As you can tell, this is not a high priority for me, just annoying that I have to uninstall Reader every time I open a PDF.  It will open in Acrobat after that, 'til I shut down my laptop.
Here's the order:  I installed Acrobat Reader.  Then I installed Acrobat Pro.  Then I uninstalled Acrobat Reader.  But when I click on a PDF file, it reopens in Acrobat Reader (I don't use Microsoft Reader - at least on purpose!)  Somehow Acrobat Reader is not completely uninstalling and reactivates.  Our computer consultant tried to fix it, but couldn't.   He said he thot some of his research showed this was a problem in Windows 8 and 8.1?
I just tried going into Programs in the Control Panel and Acrobat Pro 9 only shows Uninstall/Change, not Repair.  However, I clicked through and got to Repair.  Tried that (which I've actually done before) and still didn't work.
