I click on Firefox and it says that Firefox is installing your updates and will start in a few minutes. Then I get "The update could not be installed. Remove the files in the updates and updates\0 folder:

*C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\updates
*Do a clean reinstall and download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
*Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer. Do not remove personal data when uninstalling.
*It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
You can skip the step to create a new profile, that is not necessary for this issue.

CS5 though not tested but works on MAC 10.8.5

I've installed Photoshop CS5 on a new latop but it doesn't recognize my RAW files. Additionally, repeated attempts to perform available updates have failed. The laptop has Windows 8.1 64Bit.
I don't know who you talked to, but some of the support techs tend to look at CS5 as "no longer sold or supported" and usually don't want to mess with it.

5 authorizations: Some households have multiple computers. If you want ot use one with an account it has to be authroized. It means you can use any computer in the house to make purchaes, etc.

I'm having issues with my illustrator software. It keep crashing before i have chance to save anything and I've lost of of my work 3 times now and getting fed up. It seems to be playing up ever since i downloaded the new Mavericks Operating System on my macbook pro. But this is definitely the worst its been. Ive never had to force quit so much in my life.
I have tried a few things to sort it out, but has anyone else had this issue?

Did you reinstall the CS5 after installing Mavericks?
If not, you should; otherwise, Illy is likely to get confused, and then she does funny things, or nothing at all.
The safest way is the full three step way.
Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool, and reinstall.

The program was purchased several years ago so I called Adobe the other day and had them walk me through how to download on my new computer. I have done all the steps and it downloaded into my downloads folder however not it will not install. It is saying my security preferences allow installations of only apps from the Mac App Store and identified developers. ???? I don't know how to go about changing these settings? Please help!
You should be able just to either right click on the installer or Control click and choose Open and then the installer should work.
