I installed ios 7.1.1 on iphone 4s and now my phone won't work. what do i do to make it work?
My iphone is 4s. Yesterday at 5am i found the software update 7.1.1 & there wasnt anything that said that this update for iphone 5 or more, so i installed it, but imy phone kept showing me that sign connect with the itunes thing, and i did connect, and so it kept cracking ever second, and now i dont know whether it's installed or not but everytime i open itunes ( connected with my phone ). This i what it tells me ( iPhone Recovery Mode. Your iPhone software is up to date. iTunes will automatically check for an update again 5/1/2014. ) & the only choice i have to click on is RESTORE iPhone. and when i do restore, it tells me restore and update and then i am like forced to restore and update ios 7.1.1 when it's not even available for my device. Now my phone keeps shutting down and when it opens, it only shows the apple sign and then a wire as if telling me to connect to iTunes. My phone has been like that for almost two days now. I went to 3 apple stores near me, the apple experts werent there. & then i went to a shop & the man there asked for 160 LE for updating a software on my phone :/. Why should i pay when it's honestly apple's fault that they didnt say that this update was for only iphones 5 or whatever, why do i even get the update on my iphone 4s when there's clearly no escpae from this "Recovery Mode" and no help from anyone?
Turn your phone off and connect your cable to the computer, but not the device just yet. Start up iTunes. Now, hold down the home button on your phone and plug it in to the cable - don't let go of the button until iTunes tells you it's detected a phone in recovery mode. Now you can restore to factory settings.

First try forcing it to shut down: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds.
If you don't get anywhere, restoring it is the next step:
Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off, release only the Sleep/Wake button.
Continue pressing and holding the Home button while you reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
Note: If you see the "low battery" screen, let the device charge for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has some charge, and then start with step 2 again.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears (iTunes icon and USB connector)release the Home button.
If necessary, open iTunes. You should see the "recovery mode" alert ("iTunes has detected a phone in recovery mode").
Use iTunes to restore the device.
If you do not see the "Connect to iTunes" screen, try these steps again. If you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen but the device does not appear in iTunes, see this article and its related links. -
I tried to update my iTunes software on my iPhone today and plugged it into my laptop. Before the process was complete, I received an error message saying I had to "restore" my iPhone before it would work with iTunes. Even more importantly, and troublesome, is the fact that now my phone won't even work at all. I can't turn the iPhone on, and all the screen shows is the iTunes icon with a picture of the white power cord. That's not a battery recharge sign. It's telling you your phone is in recovery mode and you need to plug it into your computer running iTunes.

Installed iOS 7.04 in my iPhone 5 and back camera and flashlight still inop. Any others out there with this problem still and any ideal of when there will be a fix for it?
I'm using iOS 7.04 on my iPhone and basically can't use it. The screen is going crazy. I type and special characters show up. I have to hit send more than once (it grays out, then hit again) then it sends. I type words in text or email and it backspaces and deletes my entire message. I tap an application and it starts wiggling to delete. I've reboot several times. I'm looking at restoring, but that is a pain in the arse (it's my work phone). I'm nervous it will not restore properly.

I have no idea what may have caused your MacBook to stop working, but from your description it kind of sounds like it may have started before you ran Software Update and installed the new Apps. Just the general slow feeling and bugginess is what tips me off. You said that you weren't sure if you had closed all open windows, that doesn't matter if the computer restarts itself. It automatically closes all other open applications when restarting.
As to your data being retrievable, if when you take it in they do a fresh install of the OS, then no, it will not be unless you want to pay several thousand dollars to a software retrieval company.
I am glad to hear that you have taken into the Apple Store to get it fixed, and that you have all of your purchased music backed up to your iPod. You should be able to just transfer it all back to iTunes once you get your computer back should it be necessary.
As a side note, the proper place for this topic would probably in the MacBook forums, not iTunes since there is no evidence that iTunes started the issue. -

If its stuck in recovery mode then you have to restore it. Hopefully you had a recent backup on Icloud or on your computer that you can apply after restoring it. If so then you shouldn't loose your data.
Just connect it to Itunes and restore it. After it will promt you when your done to restore from backup or as new. If its on icloud unplug the phone and go through the intro screen till you get the same prompt. Sign into icloud and restore backup. -

I'm trying to install Adobe PS CS3 for my boss on an other computer. I put the Program on a hard disc and copied it to the other computer now it won't open and says it needs the license. What can I do to make it work on this computer?
Copying the program over to a new machine will not work. Install it using installation files and activate it using the serial number assigned to the license.

My iPhone prompted me to download the latest version of iOS7. I did, and now my phone won't power on. It just shows an iTunes icon on a black screen. When I connect my phone to iTunes on my laptop, the only option it gives me is to restore my phone's factory settings. But won't this erase all my photos, contacts, etc? Any suggestions?
It's in recovery mode. You don't have a choice. You have to restore the phone. Anything that was on it is already gone.
If you've been backing up/syncing on a regular basis, you won't lose anything except what's changed since the last backup. -
