I installed itunes 9.0.2 and it erased my library

I installed the new itunes on my laptop and it worked fine. I tried to the same with my other computer and it didnt...I could not find the place to upgrade on my conputer so I wen to apple.com and downloaded form there. After half an hour it finally finished and i discovered that all my music is gone. I cannot find and I want it back. I donot want to have someone come in and restore my computer...therefore I need to know how to fix it now. Music on itunes cost enough and I will not pay to get my music back when itunes is the one who made it dissapear to begin with. What do I do?

Where is your backup? You should ALWAYS maintain a backup.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup (terrible idea), then you can transfer itunes purchases from an ipod:
File>Transfer Purchases
It is YOUR responsibility to backup your music/pics/docs/etc.

You might consider itunes match for moving CDs you've copied into your itunes library if you dont have a way to use home sharing.
iTunes match is an optional service offered by apple that costs about $25 a year. It scans your music library and if it finds music that is already in apple's itunes catalog it'll automatically "unlock"/"store" these in the cloud for you. A broken Windows Modules Installer then. It's a bit of an involved fix getting past it, but we've had success here with it in the past.
First, I'd strongly suggest setting up a system restore point.
Now try the Scenario III treatment from the following document:

Head back into Windows Update and attempt to get updates again. If they still fail, this time with an 8000FFFF error code, try the following Microsoft document:

Looks like blame is incorrectly placed. Turns out my iSCSI connector is struggling with Mavericks. When I placed the iTunes library on a local drive, everything came back to normal.

Have you tried a couple of USB cables? And are you using the original cable that came with your phone?
