I installed Lion and then found that Fusion 2.0 doesn't work.

I installed Lion yesterday and now notice fusion 2.0 isnt compatible and doesnt start up. What is the easiest way to fix? Can i roll back to tiger, upgrade to fusion 3 and reinstall lion. i am afraid i just made a ton of work for myself by have to reformat the whole mess....any ideas?

I was worried I would have to reinstall either lion or Windows, but a simple upgrade to fusion 3 and everything appear to be working great. Thanks.

Apple discontinued support for PowerPC apps with Lion, I think, so you're out of luck there. No patch coming, unfortunately. Best to upgrade whatever old applications you have or, since it seems like you're using some relatively old software, scout around for replacements that give you the functionality you need.
Go to Apple menu > System Preferences > Print & Scan and select your scanner from the list--if it's not there you'll need to add it (start with the little plus icon). Once you have it in the list you can click on the Open Scanner button and a pretty barebones scanner driver will load for you. But Image Capture (as mentioned previously), found in your Applications folder, will probably do the job as adequately, or better, than your old scanner software.

Yes, I am using 09 with out issues. Just have to remember to use "open with 09" or open pages 09 first then my document.
I create some amazing cards and posters with 09 that when on a PC I would have to use both Word and Publisher to create. Flipping back and forth.

Can I upgrade to Lion and then do a disk repair afterward?

I have a Mac Mini that is working fine, but the Disk Utility told me that I need to do a disk repair.
The problem is that I can't find my Snow Leopard disk. In fact, I think I loaned it to someone who lives across the country.
Therefore, if I first do a time machine backup, do you think it will be safe to install Lion and then run a repair afterward? (Being as I've heard you don't need to reboot from the disc to repair now)

It's quite risky to upgrade a sick Mac. I would strongly recommend against it; it may get sicker.
Either get your Snow Leopard disc back, or buy one ($29).
If you have a "bootable clone," you can start from it and repair your internal HD.
If you have a 3rd-party disk repair app, such as DiskWarrior, that should work

I've seen it mentioned on here that a PRAM reset may solve it:
Reset PRAM
Shut down the computer.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P and R.
You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.

The License Agreement seems to indicate that you can actually install it on more than 5 computers under your ownership or control. However, you can only authorize 5 computers at a time. I'm just wondering if you have Lion on a computer, then deauthorize that computer....no more operating system on that computer?

THERE IS NO AUTHORIZATION.
If you used your Apple ID to log into the Mac App Store on 4,332,332 computers it would work. You could technically do that, and none of them would ever be de-authorized.
I would posit that it's likely you would be breaking the license terms in that case, becuase it's unlikely you would OWN that many machines, but technically there is no "authorization" of any sort that would stop you from doing this.

No you just need to turn on Tap to Click. Go into System Preferences - Trackpad and click the Point to Click tab and select the first box which will say Tap to Click and you should be in business.

I am unable to re-install itunes. The installer starts ok and then indicates that it can not access a network !!

You can directly install Mountain Lion 10.8.0 to 10.6.8, and then apply the 10.8.2 Update.
