You can copy it to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases - you can then take a backup copy of it, but you won't be able to use it on your Mac as it's not compatible, they are different operating systems (you will need the Mac OS X version to use on it).

That is an odd message - what exactly are you trying to burn? A disk of mp3 files? a music disc? What burner do you have connected to your computer?

In Pages, on my iPad, how do I zoom out beyond the default view?

In MS Word, you can choose a full page view which displays the entire document as a full page (it's zoomed out to where you can see the entire document plus a couple of inches around the document). Is this possible in Pages on the iPad? If so... how is it done?

Unfortunately, it seems I am not going to be able to do what I want to do (as you mentioned, Demo) - like in Word, it's the "one page" view which allows you to, "zoom the document so that an entire page fits in the window" (see pictured).

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iDevice?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.

I thought the cloud was there to give me universal access.

Which OS are you running and which version of Pages are you running on the Mac?
One way that you can access the documents is to log into iCloud.com on the Mac and then click on the Pages icon. You can download them onto the Mac or you can just work on them in the cloud if you prefer.

Pages and numbers Ipad : How to convert pages and numbers to word and xls?

Hello everyone,
I am currently using Pages and Numbers for Ipad. As I am currently working on these two programs and with their equivalent for PC (Word and Excel) for my research project, I would like to know how I can convert respectively the page and number format to word and xls, to use my documents both on my Ipad and my PC.
- Is there a convert option in pages or numbers for IPad?
- otherwise, is there suc an option in iwork.cim ?
- if nothing of such kind exists on pages and numbers for Ipad and in iwork.com, is there any software which could do the conversion ?

Within Pages, you can export to MS Word, Pages, and PDF, but Numbers only exports to Numbers or PDF...
Pages and Numbers on your Mac can convert the files to Word and Excel...

Since Pages doesn't work with Dropbox, you'll need to purchase a text editor that will allow you to save into Dropbox. If all you want is the content (without formatting), you can find a list of some choices here (but I don't know how recently this was updated) or seach in the App Store. If you need formatting, you'll need a Dropbox compatible Word Processing Program such as Documents to Go or Quickoffice.
