I installed the new version of IMovie and it took control of my camera, how do I get it to run on my old version again?
I installed the newer version of Imovie 10.0.1 and it took control from my camera so that I can not record my image on the older version imovie 8.0.6 which I enjoy using. How can I retrive the camera from the newer system?

I have OX S yosemite, I unistalled adobe acrobat, I closed safary and I installed the new version of adobe acrobat
but when I open a web page that I need to allow me to display and modify PDF files it is not working.

but after the new installation with this folder is completely empty and I am still
unable to open these pdf.
Does anybody knows anything else I can do?

Since I'd installed the new version of iTunes, iCal and Address book do not sync with my iPhone 3GS through iTunes anymore and I get an error message stating that iTunes can not sync with this iPhone. Was must i do to correct this issue and if i must, how dI reintall iTunes without loosing my content?

So basically when I installed the new version of iTunes and reopened the program it was as if I started brand new. All of my playlists, songs, and podcasts no longer exsisted. Is there a way to restore everything back to normal? I still have all of the files on my comp, but re importing them wont bring back my playlists...

You can force quit by holding the power button down for extended period.
During boot up hold down the Option key and choose your Macintosh HD OSX.
In >System Preferences> Startup Disk>choose your internal OSX System as Default. -

I tryed to install the new version of itunes, but when it was downloading a pop up popped up and it said 'the older version of bonjour can not be updated. please contack your support group.' what do i do?
(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Bonjour entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time? -
I have an academic version of Final Cut Studio on my laptop and recently purchased the most recent Full version of Final Cut Studio. Do I need to uninstall the academic version before installing the new version? I ask because this is not an upgrade, but a completely new version.
I'm with Jim on this. It always seems to work out better if you do not install over another version. You can use this app (freeware - thanks to Jon Chappel) to completely remove ALL Final Cut Studio apps and components: http://www.digitalrebellion.com/fcsremover/
Once that's done, install your newly purchased version.

Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
I recommend removing and reinstalling iTunes using these steps:
Check for .dll files
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes and C:\Program Files\iTunes and look for .dll files.
If you find QTMovie.DLL, or any other .dll files, move them to the desktop.
Reboot your computer.
Note: Depending on your operating system, you may only have one of the listed paths.
Uninstall and reinstall iTunes
Uninstall iTunes and all of its related components.
Reboot your computer. If you can't uninstall a piece of Apple software, try using the Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Utility.
Re-download and reinstall iTunes 11.1.4.

I installed the new version of Itunes and it created havoc
Yesterday I installed the new version of ITunes. This am I lost all of my audio. I did a system restore (on a PC using Windows) and it got rid of ITunes. I had to get a remote tech. from DELL to reinstall the audio, which is ok now. I uninstalled all versions of ITunes and re installed the older version but now I can not get the ITunes library into the newly installed older version. It tells me it dosn't recognize the program that created it. It does have both the older and new files I think. I don't want to have to reinstall all of my CD's. Can anyone Help. I hope so.
Dell PC Windows XPOh ok...try using a third party program such as YamiPod or CopyPod, both free and will let you rip your iPod onto your iTunes.

Adobe story online isn't loading. I just get the loading bar going on for hours. I've restarted my browser, deleted my cookies, installed the newer version of Flash and still no loading.
Nope still nothing going incognito, or doing it through different browsers. I guess the other thing is a an online picture editing program told me I needed to update my flash, so I tried to install it several time but am not sure if it actually did. Now some video players (that had previously worked) command me that I need a newer version of Flash. What happened?

Could you please try to sign-out and in via the CC-app (preferences section) and afterwards restart Lr Desktop. A restart of CC-app alone would not solve your issue. Hope that helps. Guido

I installed the new version of iTunes today. It's 12.1.1. After completing the installation, including restarting my computer, I was no longer able to use Windows Internet Explorer. Never heard of that being caused by installing iTunes. Try asking on a Windows forum. This isn't a problem with iTunes or any other Apple product. If you believe it is, uninstall iTunes. If the problem persists, you'll have to seek advice on a Windows forum or contact Microsoft for support.
