I just installed visa-rte on my XP PC. There is only a documentation link when I try to run the program (start, all programs, national instuments, visa). I was expecting a .exe. Is this normal or was there an install problem. Do I need Labview to get anything out of visa-rte? I am try to establish communication between a PC and several DC rectifiers. The rectifier manufacturer pushes VISA-rte and "Power Ten GUI". The "power ten gui" displays some canned screens but I dont see how the VISa-rte enters into it. Please help.

A runtime engine isn't always an executable. Sometimes it's just libraries. Did you also install Measurement and Automation Explorer when installing VISA? That should have created a blue icon on your desktop.
What is "Power Ten GUI"? Is it a LabVIEW app? If so, it's probably using VISA, which is why it requires the VISA runtime.

Further, it sends you top the Analyser which is no longer supported and it sends you to a page for CS6 which refers you back to it at the bottom. THere was no reference to Application Manager in the log file, only Extension, Restart and Font managers.

I use Steve's method all of the time, and edit the Audio output in Adobe Audition. You will want to Export/Share to PCM/WAV @ 48KHz 16-bit, and keep that format both going and coming back into PrE. Remember that you will be working with an Audio file, that is the full (or almost) Duration of the Timeline. When you Import that edited Audio file, give the program a few moments to Conform that newly Imported PCM/WAV for editing. I suggest not touching the computer, until Conforming has completed 100%, and the little progress bar in the lower-right of the GUI has disappeared. If the Imported Audio file is short, and your computer is fast, you might not even see that progress bar, but the Conforming has taken place, just the same.
I like to keep the original Audio on its Audio Track(s), and just use Window>Audio Mixer to Mute that/those Track(s), leaving only my edited Audio on its own Track un-Muted. This is a "fail-safe," just in case I change my mind along the way, and wish to revert to the original Audio for some reason. It is much easier to Mute-Unmute, than to gather up all of that original Audio again.

Thats strange. Could you share a screenshot of the CC desktop app preferences panel?
May i also know the operating system on which you are working?
Try to sign out from CC desktop app and then sign in back and check if you get the option to change the language.
Also, what is your operating system language?

It might be easier to download the trial version from the microsoft site and then use the code off your box set to activate it.

Addressing the first of your questions, no, Adobe no longer licenses any of its type library in Multiple Master format. Although Type 1 Multiple Master technology was a very promising technology over 20 years ago, it was never particularly popular with our customers nor was it supported well or at all by other applications and operating systems. Thus, that format was discontinued. Some Adobe applications continue to support Multiple Master technology, but the ability to create and use custom instances of such fonts is not available.
When Adobe re-released its type library in OpenType CFF format, for all the previous Multiple Master typeface families, all the predefined instances of the Multiple Master fonts were issued as individual typefaces. Since very few users ever used custom instances, this had minimal effect.
Thus, if you are interested in the Cronos type family, the Cronos Pro OpenType CFF fonts should meet your needs, especially since it supports many more typographical features than the original Multiple Master version. Is there anything that you think is missing from Cronos Pro?
With regards to your second question with regards to Cronos MM being free to download, just because you found something on the internet doesn't mean that it is true. Adobe has never released Cronos MM as a “free to download” product. If anyone is posting copies of the old Cronos MM fonts for “free download,” they are doing so illegally.

It sounds like you have an internal problem with your iPad. It could be a loose microphone connection.
The only thing I can think of that might help, is to reset (reboot) the iPad. Hold both the Home and Sleep button for several seconds until the Apple logo appears. Ignore the "Slide to power off" arrow. The iPad will restart after a couple of minutes. Resetting this way will not hurt anything, and sometimes clears up mysterious problems.
I suspect this will not correct your problem, but is worth a try. You probably need to show it to an Apple Store Genius. You may get a new iPad on the spot.
If there is no Apple Store near you, search for an Apple Authorized Repair Center. There may be one in your city. In the US, <United States>. Outside the US, <http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1434>.

Once you delete a second partition on your hard drive and there is only blank space how do you enlarge the original "Macintosh HD" to cover the entire hard drive space?

I just delete a partition on my drive and wanted to 1 either enlarge my original partition to cover the entire space, or 2 create a new partition in the free space. The problem is when I attempt to drag down the Macintosh HD partition and hit apply nothing happens. When i try to partition the free space (80 gigs) I hit apply and the new partition is only 200 mb with the 79 gigs still free space... HELP PLEASE.

Ah...so you've now learned why it's best not to change your mind after partitioning the bootup volume.
As far as I know, there's no "built-in" way to recover the free space after deleting a partition.
You're probably looking at third party software to accomplish what you're looking for. Here's one:

But now when I try to open Firefox, it won't let me because it says there's another copy already open. I have taken everything related to Firefox except the brand new version of it I just downloaded off my computer and I still get that message. What should I do?

I have a similar problem; but I think the cause of the "already running" message is that my computer crashed.
I rebooted before I learned to look for the parent lock file, but even when I knew to look for it, I found my original profile folder to be empty.
So I created another profile folder, and FF works, but I cannot access my old profile folder. When I open the location where it should be, nothing's there. But if I go to profile manager, I see my original profile is still there (and it has a location, it's where it should be - and where it's invisible, but even if I type in this location, nothing comes up).
I tried making all folders visible (I run Windows 7), but this did not make my old profile visible.
I want to find it because of the bookmarks I bookmarked recently.

i cant exactly can't understand what you mean to say but if you already have an apple ID which i bet you do. then you can redeem the $15 by clicking on the "redeem" option in the itunes store on mac/pc. the redeem option is loacted under the quick links table.

I installed the update, and now the only icons I have is Home Sharing and Settings.

I've been seeing the Update Available message, but have ignored it. Decided to update today. When it finished, the only 2 icons available are Home Sharing and Settings. Everything else is GONE! I reset the box to factory settings.....and still exactly the same. Can someone guide me through how to get back to the Apple TV that I LOVE!

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.
