I installed Windows 8.1 and now cant get Flask Player to download - WhY?

I am having trouble updating to the latest version of Flask Player. It began after I installed Windows 8.1 yesterday. I have followed the Adobe install steps, and it says I have Wiindows 8.0 already installed on my explorer then it tells me in another section that I don't have it installed on my computer(?). It is as though Adobe does not recognize 8.1 yet/

Partly right. The site (like a great many - Facebook and Yahoo to name just two) isn't always recongizing Win 8.1 oe IE11.
Microsoft recommends enabling Compatibility View for sites that have troubles with IE11 in WIn 8 or 8.1:

Have you tried resetting your iPad?
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10-15 seconds).
No data will be lost.

iDevices do not sync with a date... they sync with the computer.
If the user has restored the device using an older backup, simply restore it with a more current backup.

I locked my macbook while in icloud and now cant get back in

I have done this before with no problem but this time I think I got kicked off the network I was on and now I have a white screen with an alternating picture of an earth and a question mark. I can't do anything with it. I have tried rebooting and taking out the battery but nothing changes. Anybody got any suggestions?

Are you able to boot the MacBook to the Snow Leopard install DVD? If so, go to Disk Utility and try Repair Disk on the hard drive (NOT repair permissions) and report the result here. We'll keep working with you.

I have recently upgraded from Windows 7 Ultimate to Windows 8.1 Professional however, now my iPad and iPhone are not recognised in iTunes. I have checked Device Manager and the iPad is listed, I also asked it to update the driver but it informed me that I have the most up to date version. Can anyone help please?

Many thanks for your prompt reply however, I found this post and it worked perfectly. I hope it helps other users.
Plug your Ipad USB cable into USB port.
Go to your Control Panel, click Hardware and Sound, then click Device Manager.
Click on Portable Devices, and you should see Apple Ipad shown (or whatever apple device your using).
Right-click the Apple Device your using, and choose Update Driver Software..
Click "Browse my computer for driver software."
Click "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer."
Click the Have Disk button. (If the Have Disk option is not present, choose a device category such as Mobile Phone or Storage Device if listed, and click next. The Have Disk button should then appear.)
In the "Install from Disk" dialog, click the Browse button.
Use this window to navigate to the following folder:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers.
Double-click the "usbaapl" file. (This file will be called "usbaapl64" if you have a 64-bit version of Windows. If you don't see "usbaapl64" here, or if there is no Drivers folder, look in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers. instead).
Click OK in the "Install from Disk" dialog.
Click Next and finish the driver-installation steps. Open iTunes to verify that the device is recognized properly.

Installed Windows 8.1 and now iTunes is gone

I had been using the Windows 8.1 preview and itunes worked fine, but after "upgrading" to 8.1 Pro all of the software I had rpeviously installed had to be re-installed, including iTunes. However, every time I try to install it, it asks if I wish to "save File?" After I click yes it acts like it will but nothing happens. No crash message, no install messages. Nothing. Any ideas?

First sorry to hear that.
Not all is lost. This is what you do.
1) Goto itunes.com. Install iTunes. Open it. Sign in to itunes so it displays your email address in itunes.
After goto your itunes store in itunes. There is a purchased tab. Click on in. It should list everything you purchased, books, songs, apps. Press the cloud with the down arrow. That will start the download process to your computer. I know the movie part you must download one at a time or it will crash. I hope that helps.

Installed windows service pack and now can't see igoogle content

I recently installed a service pack for Office 32bit on my Sony Vaio. Now I cannot see any of my page content on Igoogle, or certain features on Ebay. I checked my popup filter, and even turned it off, and that didn't help.

The updater's now built into iTunes, which came with a new version of the iPod's required background service, rendering all previous updaters void.
To get to the updater, go to the iPod in the sources panel (left-hand side), and you should see the Update and Restore buttons.

I deleted all of my songs on itunes and now cant get them back

Last night i deleted my songs as i wanted to put the ratings from my ipod nano 3rd gen onto them. However to my horror when I went to put the songs from my nano onto my itunes, they didn't drag across, so i am now left with the horrible choice to download all of my songs again, unless someone can tell me how i can get them back, they weren't all saved to music files on my computer either. The same thing happened to us, my husband and I have 2 seperate Itunes accounts and both attatched to a credit card, when we upgraded our iphones, same thing. Couldnt log in and no emails. Husband kept telling me he got purchases but they werent from me as I use Itunes cards. We called apple and it was a big fuss and not really all that helpful. All the devices are mine, not his and it was verify after verify after verify, to no end. Finally I gave up because the hacker had re routed the recipts to another email and apple wanted me to provide the email and the secirity question, well, how can I know the hackers email or what they replaced as security questions???? Frustrating. Now I am living with some dufuss tracking all my whereabouts on my macbook -so no privacy and no hopes in having secure passwords, and I synced my iphone and it's now having the same. This is very frustrating. Loved my mac, loved my phone loved my ipod and Ipad, but when your being tracked by a faceless unknown person and it costs how much to remove it's frustrating anyone else have this happen? Bought a new macbook pro, synced phone with the new computer and now cant get transferred music onto my phone

I recently bought a new macbook pro to replace my 2007 macbook. I transferred my music from the old macbook to the new macbook pro. Today i updated my iphone4 to ios5 (on the new macbook pro), and in doing so, deleted my library off of my phone. The problem is, when I try to put the music i previously transferred onto the new computer, to my iphone, it wont let me transfer anything. Any ideas why this might be happening?

The Original Poster got someone on the phone who knew how to "play" the system to get around that and squirt out a gift card "for customer satisfaction". The person you talked to was less familiar with how to play the system, so simply restated the standard company policy.
If you really did buy it 14 days ago today, take it all back to the store and politely insist that you get the gift card you feel are entitled to. Exactly how they process that transaction, and whether you leave with the same computer you brought in, is their problem.

If you restore the phone using the computer it normally syncs with, the passcode will be removed. The passcode is not part of the backup. You will lose any data since the last backup. If you don't have access to that computer, you will have to put the phone in recovery mode and restore it as a new device. This will erase ALL data on the phone.
